"Expect a bit of a queue trying to get into this popular cafe - but it's worth the wait. This cafe, hidden in the back of Aoyama Flower Market, offers a wide range of herbal teas for you to enjoy in a relaxing greenhouse-like atmosphere." - Misa Matsuda Maraun

This is a great place for catching up with a friend and the herbal tea with fresh cut herbs was great. French toast was fun and I enjoyed the seasonal edible flowers. The beef stew was tough and olive rice interesting. Strong herbs in the various side dishes. Overall a very cute concept.

A beautiful place that is full of flowers - both the view and the aromas are wonderful! It is a great place to spend time with friends. Though quite noisy as the place is popular. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this tea house 🌹

I come here all the time whenever I visit Omotesando. Aoyama Flower Market Garden is so chill, and the food is great, as well as the tea. I love the garden atmosphere, the beautiful flowers, and the wonderful staff. Come and check this place out!

This place is really as beautiful as every picture that you can see on the internet. The service is really nice and welcoming. Tea selection is nice, we particularly liked the "Mon amour" tea. We liked the taste of every meal but we wished to have a little bit more food in each plate. And there was only 1 small piece of meat and no olives in the beef and olive stew, so this was disappointing. Other than that we had a lovely time and it was a nice experience with the smell of flowers surrounding us.

A must go to if you are nearby! The atmosphere and scenary inside was astonishing! Food was delicious. We had such a Zen experience there!

Google
Really cute cafe atmosphere, food isn’t overpriced either. Food is amazing. Tea smells better than it tastes, but I’ve never really liked tea anyways.

Google
Located behind the flower shop, this dessert place is favorite for ladies bringing their friends or boyfriends/husbands. The attraction is definitely the decoration with flowers all around the place. Interesting selection of menu too, but the rose jelly is most captivating.

Google
Beautiful cafe. There was a long queue, but they manage this through having a maximum time at the table of 90 minutes. We waited at least an hour to be seated. They have Pothos vines lining the walls and the ceiling. The tables have fresh flowers on them and a beautiful center piece in the middle of the cafe. The tea was very good and brewed perfectly. The food is stunning and was delicious. Overall, this cafe was worth the trip and the wait. I would recommend anyone interested in going.

Yelp
Aoyama Flower Market Green House restaurant adopts a greenhouse concept, providing a rich dining environment surrounded by flowers and green plants. A friend and I came here for brunch so both of us had French toast. My friend also had one pot of herb tea to go with her meal and I had the cheesecake for dessert. The menu was small as there weren't many choices. The French toast was made of baguettes and had the seasonal edible flowers on top which are extremely tasty and look colorful. My Hana-kanmuri ( かんむり冠 Crown) French toast had mangos, oranges, and lemon slices with fresh sunflower petals and mint leaves. It was delicious and was too beautiful to eat. The French toast was fabulous and probably the most beautiful French toast I've ever had. Although the atmosphere was amazing and refreshing, the portion was small and it was a bit pricey. I am not a big eater but after I finished it, I was still hungry.

Yelp
Came here for the food but stayed for the interior decor! I was super excited about their beautiful food and plating. I think it is definitely pretty to look at but the taste isn't the most spectacular thing. The omurice was mildly cold and the sauce was average - I feel like I could find that elsewhere. The french toast was pretty colourful and delicious. I think for the price, I wouldn't say it's worth it. BUT I LOVED the way the decorated the store. There's plants everywhere, even under your table and some flowers poking out from the table! It's so beautiful. The whole room felt like a green house.

Yelp
This place is so beautiful. The staff here are super amazing. I stopped by other lunch places and I am not sure why but there are any Italian people in this area and not so great services. But to be fair, the wait staff shared a story of an inspiration about the owner who went to Italy and inspired by the garden there. My favorite oasis and they have fabulous selection of teas. I highly recommend Vanilla Chantilly tea with little milk on the side or not.. Once again I would hope it's well mannered quiet talking people who visits this place since it is everyone's oasis.

Alex C.

Yelp
This cute café has such a charming atmosphere. Lush green plants and sunlight stream through the windows that beautifully illuminates the interior. A lovely fragrance of flowers and tea fills the building mixed with a light scent of butter--so comforting!

Susan B.

Yelp
Just gorgeous. One of my favourite cafes (and places) in Tokyo (and maybe in the world).

Ben M.

Yelp
Delicious French toast and tea. super friendly service and an amazingly chill setting. Kids are welcome so itS family friendly. The menu is low key. Different types of tea, a few different french toast and egg options. They allow strollers inside the tea room. Flowers everywhere and green plants are in abundance, that makes the place relaxed and low key. The food is good.

Yelp
I'm pretty sure this is the closest I'll feel to being a character in a Ghibli fairytale. Not often do you step into a place, look around, and think "...is this real life?". Aoyama Flower Market Tea House is a perfect example; it practically sprung straight out of a storybook. A nondescript entrance indicating a flower shop is your only sign that this place exists. Aoyama Flower Market lets you step into a charming forest of colours and aromas. So enticing, that even though I don't wear perfume, I had to buy a bottle of their peony scent to memorialize it. At the back, behind the shop counter, is where the colourful forest transforms into a magical cafe. Wall to ceiling greenery, hanging pottery, fresh cut flowers of all shapes and sizes. It's a garden oasis in a bustling metropolis. And of course, a tranquil garden's beverage of choice would be tea. Fragrant tea made from the very flowers sold in the shop. They've got their very own blends that refresh and relax. We got the Sweet Earl Grey and Ispahan blend; both were complex combinations of flowers and flavours. They were served up beautifully and uniquely, a perfect reflection of the setting. If tea is a little tame for you, they've got sodas and cocktails that are also infused with florals and herbs. Though we didn't get to try the food, the sweet and savoury selections looked just as stunning and delicious. Whatever your appetite, you will find a reason to enjoy Aoyama Flower Market Tea House, even if it's just for the ambiance. Visit the shop to be awed, to feel relaxed, to escape from crazy city life, just be sure to visit. (80/100) - 2018

Yelp
Really cute cafe located inside the flower shop. Honestly, i thought there would be a line. However when I went, there was no line. The cafe is quite small. There's couple of tables and a counter that can sit about 7 people. They open at 11 and offer a variety of brunch/ lunch. If you aren't up for a meal, they have small dishes like the parfait. The floral parfait is sweet and looks very pleasing. I recommend getting a drink with this dish. I went with the rose tea. I left around 12:30 and there was a line. If you want to wait in line, go for it. But if you don't want to wait, I think there are other places you can go.

Fiona Z.

Yelp
tl;dr -- French toast definitely worth. Wait doesn't make sense. Parfait may stick in teeth. This place was a 50 minute wait around 11:30 in the morning, which was made a little more infuriating because once we went in, we noticed several empty tables and seats. The whole time were there, there was a constant line outside, exactly up to the top of the steps, despite there always bring empty tables and seats. There were 2-3 servers and 2-3 people in the kitchen that I could see, so I didn't understand the wait. The atmosphere was really nice. Not too loud, surrounded by plenty of greenery, and nice for being the middle of winter. I tried the flower parfait and the seasonal flower French toast (1000 yen), both of which were very Instagram-cute. The flower parfait has cereal in it, which adds a nice crunchy texture, but the cereal was like the Honey Smacks cereal to the max because bits got stuck on/in my teeth and made the parfait a little annoying to eat. The rose jelly flavor was subtle and not too overpowering, which I liked. The raspberry mousse had the consistency of jam more than mousse, but it was good. The seasonal flower French toast was pretty good. The flowers are edible but didn't taste bad or good. It came topped with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, and strawberries, orange slices, raspberries, redcurrants, and bananas. The raspberries were frozen, which was surprising as they were also in the seasonal fruit French toast my friend got. I thought that seasonal fruit wouldn't need to be frozen and would be fresh the day of, but everything tasted delicious anyway. I really liked the toast itself because it was like a crispy baguette, not like soggy thick normal bread.

Nat K.

Yelp
What a charming tea house. Beautiful ambiance with all the flowers. Feels like a high tea in a story book. Delicious brunch options and fragrant teas. Kind staff and great people watching. Highly recommend. Can be a little crowded but worth it

Connie T.

Yelp
(I didn't have tea here) SHAME ON ME! There's a bit of a wait. Was estimated about 45 mins, but a few parties in front of me gave up and left. I had the french toast flower breakfast and it was very good! I didn't realize that this one had ice cream also. The french toast is made with almost a baguette sized bread, so thicker, smaller pieces and were lightly breaded which works better for me since I'm not a big french toast person. I ate one of the edible flowers (i don't recommend lol) I got it with the rose soda and it was okay. Too lightly flavored for me, maybe i'd go hot tea next time! ;) I decided on a perimeter seat facing the outdoor garden, it was very relaxing and not a bad place for lone diners either.

Yelp
Just behind bouquets of flowers for sale in this flower market is a glass-walled teahouse. What a lovely place to escape the heat and the hustle and bustle of Tokyo! This teahouse was on my short list of places to try in Tokyo. We easily found it thanks to Google Maps. It's a stone's throw from Omotesando and its upscale shops (LV, Gucci, Prada, etc) and so close to Meiji Jingu and Harajuku. We got here around 1 pm and there was a line. We got in line and about half an hour later, the hostess/server led us to our table. There were plants under the glass table, and next to every table, a plant with a beautiful white flower. Above us were also plants and flowers. It felt like we were transported to another world! We both had one of their lunch sets with drinks. I had the sandwich and salad lunch set with their house made ginger beer and the hubby had the roasted pork slices and soup combo with hot tea. We were hungry and all that food was enough to assuage our hunger! The food was great and my ginger beer was so refreshing. I tasted the hubby's tea and it was really good too. Loved how fragrant his tea was. Service was great. Though they only had two servers, we were never in want of anything. They were so friendly and always had a smile on their face. We sat there for a while to rest our feet and enjoy all the beauty that surrounded us and of course the A/C. I love how they don't rush you even when there are people waiting outside. So much more civilized that way. We had a great time and we can't wait to go back next time we're in Tokyo. Oh and make sure to check out their restroom. It hasn't escaped this place's great attention to detail!

Yelp
This small cafe is a gorgeous place! A friend suggested we stop by here for tea and dessert! It is a flower shop out front, but delve deeper in and enter a magical green house cafe! Though they don't really have a food menu, they certainly have delicious desserts and a large assortment of delicious teas! Recommend coming by if you wanna indulge in yummy desserts in a little alcove nestled away in the city!

Jessica D.

Yelp
The menu here is short and simple, which consists of mostly drinks and sweets. There was a wait when we got there but it wasn't too bad. Everything in here is instagramable and beautiful especially the flowers and lots of their sweet dishes. French toast (¥ 756)- 4/5 This was delicious everything from the toast itself to the fruits. It's also has beautiful edible flowers. The icecream made it quite refreshing.

Victoria P.

Yelp
There's just something about flower shops that draw my attention, and this place also has a cafe!!! The flower shop itself has a large selection of various flowers and the peonies were gorgeous here. My friends and I visited the cafe, we got the ice cream flower parfait (sorry don't remember the name but it's the only one!) and I got the earl grey tea. The ice cream was delicious and you can taste the hints of floral. Im not gonna lie I didn't think I'd like it, but it was 10/10. There were little crunchy bits, not sure if it was dry flowers but it really added texture to it. My earl grey was delicious. It didn't taste burnt and was steeped well. The cafe also offers other foods like toasts and savory items!

Shelly Z.

Yelp
This place is just... Okay. The food was Instagram worthy but just tasted meh. The wait for lunch on a Wednesday was about 35 min. I'm glad I came but it's not worth going again.

Yelp
Tea+ Dessert + Garden = super cute and "romantic"!! Good for dates and girly gatherings!!! Trust me girls~~this place is lovely!! Its located in Harajuku where the main shopping street is on a smaller alley and pretty easy to find with their huge sign. They are walking distance from Harajuku station... Anyway, the front of the store is a flower shop with tons of flower arrangements for you to take selfies with ;) Once you're done browsing, head into the sliding doors and you will see a mini cafe decked out in greenery...SO BEAUTIFUL~~~ Make sure you order their Dessert Tea which has a strong vanilla, caramel, and nutty flavor..add some sugar cubes and voila~ their french toast was sold out when I went so I got the Flower Parfait and Gateau Chocolate instead. The parfait was light and refreshing...the jelly inside was so Rosy..LOVED IT!! The chocolate cake was a tad strong IMO but alright when paired with the ice cream. Prices are alright since you are paying for the atmosphere..about 800-900 yen for teas and dessert items. Must.Go.Again!

Yelp
I love the jelly I got and the french toast that my boyfriend got. Sometimes when its busy though, you will have to wait outside and the line gets long. For some reason the workers will come out and tell you that you're not allowed to sit down while waiting and make u stand up. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS!! the servers are not friendly and the workers don't seem to care about you. one of the worst customers services I've encountered in Japan, and that tells you something because customer service is considered A1 in Japan. Food and drinks are good as well as aesthetics, but thumbs down for customer service. OWNER: hire more friendly people.

Yelp
This place is great for a cute brunch or afternoon tea break with your friends. There is a strong smell of flowers throughout the shop (since it is also a flower shop) and it felt like I was in a garden- a very beautiful cafe. It is on the pricier side but the presentation makes up for it. Every dish has some type of floral/ nature-like aspect to it: a hipster's paradise. We got a flower parfait which was so light and each bite had a different texture/flavor to it- so amazing! We also got a cheese plate. Even though the mini sized pitcher of honey was super cute, the cheese platter was mediocre. I would go to an actual cheese shop for some high quality cheese. Lastly we got a herbal tea (I don't exactly remember what was in it but it was a tonight of ingredients). It was refreshing and very therapeutic.

Abril L.

Yelp
Great experience to have an afternoon tea inside the green garden. Beautiful flowers, beautiful deco and also beautiful dessert!!! Services is great, servers spoke good English, the only down side is that there is a looooong line to wait to get seated, nope no board to sign in, so I suggest go there early or have your friend go earlier to get the seat for you. :P

Yelp
Aoyoma Flower Market Teahouse is one of the most beautiful cafes I have been to, and definitely a must-see if you're in Tokyo. It has a lovely glass greenhouse look with carefully selected flowers at each table. The walls are whimsically decorated with greenery and hanging flowers from the ceiling. Even the dessert is a beautiful piece of artwork-- I ordered the flower parfait which came in a glass sphere filled with flower petals, rose flavored jelly, cake, raspberry mousse, cereal, and ice cream. It was not too heavy or overpowering, and each bite was like searching in a treasure chest. Also ordered the chicken sliders for lunch, which was also tasty! Overall, very fancy, elegant teatime perfect for hanging out with some girlfriends on a day where you feel extra. Highly recommend checking out the actual flower shop next door as well.

Rose L.

Yelp
Beautiful place and the food was good but the wait was not worth it. I waited 1.5 hrs and there was only 5 people in front of me which was ridiculous. We ordered tea and parfaits and I ordered the seasonal hydrangea which was yogurt and I felt that it was not worth the 10,000 YEN. I really thought it had real flowers in it lol but it was just a mixture of berries. The parfait was really good and I enjoyed the rose jelly. Tea was alright - not worth the 600-800 YEN. The place smelled really nice, as it is a flower shop. Would be cute for pictures but expect to spend atleast 13,000 YEN on drink + dessert and of course with food would be more. I think the best thing I liked was the water lol it was infused with flower and tasted really good

Mark S.

Yelp
This quaint little tea house is in a kind of glass house within a flower shop. The menu is full of interesting things such as homemade ginger ales, traditional and herbal teas (fresh), and tasty desserts. The beauty and aroma of the flowers & foliage and the tastes of the food and drink make for a very relaxing and satisfying experience. Highly recommended!

Antinea C.

Yelp
Went here on a Wednesday afternoon for some tea. We were asked to wait outside in the flower shop until there was space for us. When it was our turn, we had the option to choose between a table or the bar overlooking the window. The flower shop is beautiful; lots of diversity and great smelling flowers. The tea shop has hot and cold beverages (tea, coffee), small bites (parfait), and bigger meals (French toast). As a heads up, we were told the French toast would take about 30 minutes to make so we opted for a fruit cup instead. Overall wonderful experience, you pay at the cashier inside the tea shop when done.

May L.

Yelp
Very relaxing place for brunch, very fancy like a garden and smell good! we went there on Tuesday there is no line, the herb tea and jelly are very impressive! It's not cheap, but not too expensive, acceptable based on the scene.

Nhina S.

Yelp
This highly popular spot has always a line of women waiting outside in line. It is a truly beautiful place and even though I can't tend to a flower even if my life depended on it, this place makes me wish I could. Usually the line puts me off from visiting this place. I have never waited for less than 30 min outside and once seated there is even more wait due to the slow service. From ordering it took about another 25 min until our lunch sets arrived. The pumpkin soup was light and flavorful. I just wish they had put some more into the bowl. Even at first glance it looked rather empty. Please either put some more soup in the bowl or switch to smaller bowls. The salad was good and I enjoyed the pumpkin and parmesan that was part of the salad. To be honest, even if I didn't have to wait in line, I would probably chose another place around the area but I do give it to them that Aoyama Flower Market is hard to beat when it comes to atmosphere and presentation.

Yelp
I first came across this Teahouse on Instagram and immediately knew I had to visit while I was in Japan. This place is often compared to being in a Studio Ghibli film and its no exaggeration. This Teahouse is seriously breathtaking. The place is decorated with living plants and flowers from floor to ceiling. We came right when it opened and stayed for a little under a hour. I suggest going early on a weekday because the place was packed when we were getting ready to leave. We ordered the Kimono tea and the rose jelly parfait to share between the two of us. The tea came out first and the parfait took an additional 10-15 minutes to prepare. The loose leaf tea was so good, I actually bought some before we left! Between the two of us, we were able to have 2-3 cups of tea. They also give you a timer so you know how long to steep the tea. The parfait was well worth the wait and the price. The jelly was the best part in my opinion, you can't find anything like that elsewhere. The total amount was around 2,500¥ which is definitely worth the quality of the tea/desserts and the scenic experience. My other tip is that if you have mild pollen allergies, please take an antihistamine beforehand! My friend's allergic reaction wasn't too bad, but it could've been avoided.

Licca K.

Yelp
I have to admit... I had been looking forward to checking out this place since the first time I saw it on Yelp. It was too pretty to pass up, and it didn't let down. From food to aesthetic, it's probably my most favorite cafe I've ever been to. Thankfully this expensive gem is thousands of miles away from me, and sadly, it is also thousands of miles away... Ah, well. I had been participating in an art show in Omotesando and was super stoked to find out this place was so close by. The front of the shop is a flower shop. It smells absolutely amazing. I would have loved to have been able to take one of their succulents or plants home. They also have perfumes which smell so nice. I came here, obviously, for the cafe behind the shop and more so for the flower parfait. To get to the cafe you just walk to the very back of the flower shop and open the sliding door. Inside there are chairs to the left for people waiting in line to be seated. We waited for a bit and were lucky enough to snag a corner spot by the large windows. If you can get a seat there I'd highly recommend it. The three of us all ordered sets-- the soup and pasta, hotdog, and open faced sandwich. They all came with a small salad and choice of tea blend. For ¥200 extra you can switch out the drink option with another drink on their menu since it limits you to only a few drinks. However, the tea of the day is a pot of hot tea-- that day it was a nice green tea. Me and my friend got the fruit teas instead-- a green tea with lime, mint, and kiwi & a berry tea with fresh berries and mint. Extremely good! As for the food--- the soup was very flavorful, I wasn't a big fan of the pasta as it tasted like a normal alfredo. I had ordered the hotdog which came with some mustard and almonds in a small baguette. I wasn't sure about it, but since my friend got the tartine I didn't want to get the same thing. It's odd they have a hotdog on their menu, I think, but it had to be one of the best hotdogs I've ever had, at least in a while. The bread wasn't tough to eat which I often find when people replace the hotdog buns with baquettes. As for the flower parfait, it was as good as it looked. The jelly was a rose flavor which was subtle and complimented with vanilla ice cream some sweet cream/mousse, fresh berries, granola and garnished with edible flower petals. What more could you ask for especially if you're a fan of floral flavored desserts. It is predominantly a rose flavor, so if that's not your cup of tea I'd probably pass or share with someone. Aoyama Flower Market is also a block away from the Omotesando station and in very easy walking distance.

Yelp
Must post review on this very cute cafe before I forget my experience. So here it is! I loved this tea house/flower market. I love that it's situated in an unassuming street and tucked behind a flower market. Once you walk in through the sliding doors, you'll see waiting chairs to your left. A server will seat you or let you know how long the wait will be. For a weekday afternoon, she quoted us 30 mins but actually it was only about 10 mins. We got lucky and snagged a table on the middle flower communal table. The crowd is mostly well-dressed ladies in their 20s talking softly. There is a basket underneath the table where you can put your bag and jacket. We ordered the croque monsier and the mushroom bacon sandwich. And also tea and a flower parfait for dessert. Everything was fresh and like nothing I've tried before. The croque monsier was delicious and not too cheesy. The flower parfait was the highlight of my meal, it had rose jelly, flower petals which I hope were edible, and ice cream. Presentation was cute as it came in a clear round bowl. Once they hand you your check, you pay up at the front. They accept credit cards! I would definitely come back again, especially after a long day of shopping around the area! This cafe is centrally located making it an easy stop that's not out of the way!

Yelp
I wish they have something like this where I lived in the US! I love this place. Amazing teas and desserts. The ambience is beautiful. I would go here everyday if there's one by me

Yelp
I had heard about this location through another rider. I had to go find out what it was all about and took the train over towards Otomosando. As I exited the station and cross the street it is just about two buildings up from the train station. I suggest that you exit A and not B4. There was a small line when I arrived. It was mostly young well dressed Japanese girls. Since I was by myself I could not browse through the flower shop while I waited. I waited an hour to be seated. I had arrived at 12:10 PM and was seated at 1:15. And he walked cross through the flower shop to the garden seating area. The menu is in both Japanese and English. I ordered the seasonal French toast which was probably one of the best French toast I've ever had. I also ordered the Kimono hot tea which is flavored with green tea apricot and peach. It was a little bit weird that I was dating alone since most people were in groups of two or three. But I did not mind. Afterwords you take your check to the counter to pay. I then browse the flower shop which was amazing. They also sell some of the tea there which is a good souvenir. They took credit cards. I guess the wait is somewhat acceptable because it seems like most people linger and enjoy their tea but also take lots of pictures for their social media which is a little bit annoying.

Yelp
The only negative part of my experience was having too wait in line for more than an hour, but I don't think it's fair to ding a place for that reason. Otherwise, I loved my visit here - I got a green tea with lots of fruity notes in it, combo'd with the flower parfait. That parfait was so unexpectedly good - rose jelly, flower bits (not sure if they were edible; I pushed these to the side), ice cream, granola, and some kind of cake. I don't usually like jelly in any flavor, but this one was smooth and light and perfectly complemented the dessert. The ice cream was a little icy. I do remember being surprised by the price; be forewarned, this place is not cheap. The tea house felt like a natural extension of the flower market next door. It is such a beautiful place that you will want to spend the afternoon here enjoying a book, which I tried to do before feeling a little guilty thinking about everyone waiting in line. You must check this place out when in Omotesando with a few hours to spare - it is really a special place.

Yelp
Heaven on earth. That is all. Best to visit when you need a break for the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.

Jayde Y.

Yelp
I wondered why I was brought to a flower shop. I did mention that I was getting a little tense due to the daily business meetings in Tokyo that didn't seem to go anywhere at this point. Ok, flower therapy would work; in fact, the shop had many different kinds of flowers and how they displayed them was very beautiful. But that wasn't it. There was a hidden cafe behind the shop which couldn't even be seen from the storefront. The hostess opened the glass door for us, and walking into the cafe, I smelled fresh roses all over that automatically put me in a great mood. The cafe looked like a green house. It's very relaxing and beautiful. Our waitress recommended this particular herb tea for me since I was a bit tired. I was expecting a tea bag with dried leaves, but they served tea with fresh leaves. That was the most delicious herb tea I've ever had. There was a strong flavor of lemongrass, rosemary, and spearmint. Very refreshing. I was able to literally feel a recovery from the fatigue from jet lag and the intense meetings. I also had Flower French Toast. It looked so lovely and delicious that put a smile on my face. I also heard the sound of water and noticed that I was actually sitting very close to their small water fountain. Still smelled the roses everywhere. What a treat... The waitress was lovely, great service and ambience. This was what I needed. Thank you. 5 stars.

Yelp
One of my favorite meals in Tokyo! My friend & I waited almost an hour in line for lunch...absolutely worth it! A gorgeous & delicious meal! How fun and whimsical to surround yourself with lush florals during lunchtime. I was in love with the ambiance and the menu! Bonus, bought a floral bouquet on my way out in the front shop!

Today is our last day in Japan so we decided to come here again for brunch. We arrived at 11am (right when they opened), and by 20 mins the restaurant is already filled up. Side note: Their daily fresh flowers were already presented so nicely!!! See pics Food: 3 We love their French toast and Flower jelly desserts so we ordered that for dessert. On top of that we ordered a lobster bisque and a bacon egg sandwich. Salad used vinaigrette dressing. Lobster bisque was average and wasn't impressive at all. It's too thin and needs cream. Pesto pasta was decent. Sadly, I liked pasta the most out of that lunch dish and it was a side. As for the Eggs and Bacon sandwich, they MESSED up on the English menu on the description for Egg and bacon sandwich was for salmon avocado with dill spread and capers. (We see others ordering it and it looks yummy but can't confirm) We didn't really care for the Salmon sandwich, so we told them to move forward with desserts. DEFINITELY NOT THE PLACE FOR FOOD EVEN THOUGH THERES A HUGE CROWD. Dessert: 5 As usual the French toast and flower jelly was Delicious!!! We got the peach green tea this time to compliment it. We added a cube of sugar in it but I felt the tea was too floral tasting. We finished the French toast in less than 60 seconds!!! Hahaha. The flower dessert was really delicate. The perfect Parfait! Service: 2 I felt the service was a bit slow, they have 2 people serving the entire restaurant. It took 45 mins before we got our 2nd entree. And they aren't attentive at all. Our waters did not get refilled until an hour later. Also in addition to the mess up on the menu, they also BROUGHT THE WRONG flower item! We wanted the flower strawberry dessert in a glass ball instead we got another similar one in a cup. Overall I feel this place would wow any first timers here. But after a few visits, it confirms this place to be more of a dessert place and a great place to be at IF you have TIME (at least 1.5-2hrs+) to spare. Note: People do tend to stay a loooong time chatting it up, so expect to wait long if restaurant is filled up. Also, food takes a very very long time to arrive. We ate fast but still it took 1hr and 15 mins for the meal to finish. I still feel that this place is a solid 5 for dessert and atmosphere but their lack of attentiveness and not so yummy lunch made me give them a 3.5 stars for my overall experience.

Yelp
I'm not a teahouse connoisseur, but this is the most wonderful one I've ever been. The trick to getting in here quickly is to come early just before it opens. We went to Aoyama flower market twice during our stay in Tokyo. Both times we came during a weekday between 10-15 minutes before the shop opened and both times the line was usually about 5-10 people deep. The teahouse is located inside the flower market behind a glasswall. As you walk through the flower shop towards the teahouse, you catch the sweet smell of fragrant flowers wafting in the air. A sign of what the weekly flower waits for you before entering the glass door which will be the theme at all the tables (our weekly flower was a peach color rose). No sounds of bing-bong when the door opens like at family mart, but a little shop bell chime as someone walks into the teahouse. The walls are decorated with clay pots and planters hanging from the ceiling. The greenery makes the café area feel warm. Even staring outside at the brick wall feels nice with the vines growing across it as if you're out in a garden. The middle seats in the café are not comfy because the wooden planter gets in the way of sitting. So it's best to sit on the sides of the restaurant. Plus sitting there provides you a better view of the teahouse itself. We ordered rose tea, strawberry tea, flower french toast, and flower parfait. The food was very reasonably priced at ~$30 usd (May 2016) for the four items. The rose tea left a long lingering pleasant aftertaste. The strawberry has a hint of tanginess (almost astringent, but not unpleasantly so) whereas the rose had a sweeter aftertaste. Both teas were good in their own way. The flower French toast was so many things. It was warm, fluffy, gooey, mildly sweet inside with a little crunch on the outside. The best french toast we've had hands down. Then you combine the bite of french toast with drinking the tea afterwards and that just enhances the flavor experience. As for the Rose Parfait, I feel I would do it a disservice with my description. But if love was a dessert then the Rose Parfait would be it. The Rose Parfait comes in a cup with a base of granola on the bottom, then a sponge cake that builds on the granola, rose jelly, ice cream, whip cream, little red berries (think oval shaped strawberry, but tasted almost like cherries), and edible petals. The first time we came here, it was bright and sunny which illuminated the interior of teahouse with a warm glow. However, when we came the second time there was light rain. IMO the light rain enhanced the ambiance giving the interior of the teahouse a cozier feel from the light drops of rain on the glass to the muted light coming into the interior. Either way, it's never a bad time to come here.

Yelp
This place is like a beautiful oasis among a busy urban city. The front end is a flower shop, and you proceed to the back to where the cafe is. There are plants everywhere: the walls, on the table, UNDER the table. The food is very refreshing, and their teas are amazing. The plants create a calm and wonderful aroma throughout the entire place.

Yelp
Wait time at 12pm-1pm was 60 minutes!! The restaurant is an adorable little flower market at the store front and enter a greenroom garden themed seating area to dine in. Mostly caters to tea and sweet lovers but also has a three lunch options if you are hungry but except parfait a cake, French toast and lots of ice cream and powdery breads!! Service once you are seated is very fast. I got cold sweet Earl Grey tea and a rose parfait both delicious!! I had a bite of my friends roast beef sandwich and dressing was so good and exploded with flavor that calmed all my nerves

Yelp
Wow. That's all I can say. Wow. The food was incredible and the tea selection was great. I loved the decor on the inside of the greenhouse.

Yelp
The teahouse has a very nice ambience. Price quite high but worth it if you dont go everyday or often. French toast (i ordered a regular one) is probably the best french toast i ever tasted. Curry rice and rose drink just so so. We came at 3pm ish, there is no wait.

Yelp
Travelling with two other girls who love pretty cafes, it was given that I was going to have to visit this tea house. There was around a 40 minute wait when we arrived there at around 3PM but we took turns looking in the flower market while we waited so time passed quite quickly. I was aware that I was lining up more for the environment rather than the food, but I would say that the food wasn't bad. Everything was very pretty and decorated with flowers. I got the french toast and it was tastier than I thought it would be. All the desserts were very pretty! Great place to grab tea/desserts after walking the Omotesando area if you like floral notes.

Yelp
This cute shop has such a nice atmosphere! So beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised by the food too. They have a weekly flower that decorated the cafe, a daily tea, and a seasonal menu! Lovely. I was worried when I went here that the hype was what made it so busy, because the shop is so cute. But honestly, I really loved the food. I'll be going back and trying more of it soon! Between my boyfriend and I, we ordered a salad set with the rooibos tea! We also got the hot ginger drink. The salad was full of veggies, came with a cranberry sauce, and 2 rolls. The salad was great and pretty large! But my favorite part was the rolls! I expected them to be cold, hard, and something I'd leave on the plate. But they were warm, soft, and a great way to end the meal. They tasted like they had just been made! Both drinks were also great. The tea comes out with everything you need and stays hot throughout the meal. Our rooibos tea was on the sweater side and I loved the color- so pretty! The ginger was delicious, too. Great for a chilly day. It was about 1000 yen for everything, per person. The set by itself was about 1200 yen, and definitely worth it. (Big dish and a pot of tea!) I'll be back!

Yelp
Everything about this place was just magical. Loved the tea and food offered here. You know what made it even better? The excellent customer service too. I highly recommend trying out their french toast, it is lighter than American French toast and not as sweet. I especially loved the rose jelly and wished I could bring it home for my friends to try. Love this place.

Yelp
Cool place. The Aoyama Flower Market is divided into two sections -- a flower shop and a cafe. The flowers are nice, but relatively expensive. However, the cafe is a decent find. Fresh dishes and great coffee/tea. You're surrounded by greenery, so it makes for a refreshing experience.

Yelp
What an incredible experience having tea and lunch here! The teahouse is a beautiful glass box at the back of the flower market. The flower market smells incredible and has an array of different flowers! Get there early to avoid a long line. We got there around 11:20 and waited for 40 minutes. The tea and food was incredible. It's not a huge lunch menu but the salad and relax tea are very very good! The flower French toast also had an incredible presentation and taste.

Yelp
The prettiest tea house I've ever been. I love this place so much and I will come back again during my next visit. I saw a picture of this Tea house about 6 months ago and ever since I've been dreaming about coming to this place. I came about 1pm and didn't wait at all. Of course I ordered the famous Rose Jelly Parfait: I wasn't disappointed. It was a perfect combination of creamy ice cream, delicate sponge cakes, refreshing rose jelly, crunchy granola and touch of rose.

Yelp
The most beautiful tea garden I've ever been to. When you enter the cafe, you will walk through a flower market. All real flowers, which is very beautiful and makes the cafe feel more alive. In the inside of the cafe has plants and flowers all around. The service is pretty fast and the waiters are also friendly. This place is excellent for a nice catch up date with a friend and make sure you come early because it gets packed!! Lot's of people waiting in line to come in! I waited 45 mins out in the cold in January just to try out this beautiful flower market tea house but I gotta say it was worth it! Their menu is pretty selective and they have nice tea you can choose from with different type of flower and herb blend.. etc. If you love flowers, plants, garden, tea and cafe this place is definitely for you!

Yelp
inlove with this place so much, a must-see when in the omotesando district. despite the stunning secret garden ambience, the fancy desserts and tea setup, the prices are still pretty affordable! be prepared to spend about ¥1000+ for a tea and dessert combo. I had the flower jelly which came in a cup with ive cream, jelly and edible flowers. also had a fruity tea which was a combo but i forgot what flavors they were. the ambience is basically very simple : wood, glass, wrought iron chairs, and lots and lots of flowers and greenery! they had excess flower vases on shelves on the side. a 'trellis' covers the whole cafe area with a palm-like plant creeping up and covering the trellis. the tables are made of square iron with a glass top. underneath the tables are wooden flower boxes held up by red bricks. you are basically looking at your glastop table and seeing green plants everywhere. even the lamp totally goes with the decor. did i mention it is beautiful here? lol we walked to this area so im not sure about nearby parking (free or paid) and it was located inside an actual flower shop. the restrooms are also located at the flower shop. if i lived here, id make sure to come weekly and buy my flowers here. flowers are changed daily at the restaurant, is what i heard, and the flowers in the shop are arranged by color schemes. again, this lovely little cafe is a must-see in japan!
