I went during the middle day of a three-day weekend. It was relatively affordable compared to other hotels, so I chose it as a base for sightseeing in Gunma. As an APA member, the 11:00 AM checkout is a nice perk. The room was on the small side, typical for APA, but personally, I really loved the bath. It was a rare natural hot spring for APA, and the water temperature was just right. The sauna was hot and humid—a surprisingly great environment for a business hotel. Official photos didn't show towels inside the sauna, but they were properly laid out with sauna mats. There was even a TV. Best of all, the changing room had effective air conditioning and fans, so I didn't sweat after bathing—👍️ The water from the dispenser was cold too. It's worth visiting just for the baths. It was my first stay, and it was truly great. Even on Saturdays, there are days when you can stay at a reasonable price, so I'll definitely visit again. This is a request, but I wish they had shaving cream in the bathroom for shaving...

Perfect convenient location 1 minute from the station. It's a clean, modern, functional business hotel that suited our family of four very well. We loved Takasaki and the comfort and ease of this hotel enhanced the experience. A bonus was complimentary yukata and the sento (Japanese communal bath) every evening.

The room is extremely small, barely 10m². How is this even legal? There is only one microwave available in the lobby. They rejected our request to store our luggage on the check-out day, claiming they did not have enough space to accommodate everyone’s luggage. They told me to use the lockers at the station instead. What a joke! I will report this to the main office. If you have a choice, please avoid using this facility.

I stayed one night while on vacation & enjoyed it :) Room was especially compact, but also laid out more thoughtfully than most. What I liked most, compared with other hotels, was the TV software—when I came in the room, it was already on in English, with a home screen showing a little video how to wear yukata, bath crowdedness meter, and other facility info. It's a welcoming touch, and I really appreciated the free streaming music & videos (with English subtitles). Raised walkways connect the hotel to the station, malls, even Takasaki Tower Museum of Art (unfortunately closed the day I visited), and it was easy to catch the bus to Kannon-yama from here (worth the trip!). Front desk staff were very nice, and the breakfast was tasty. I want to stay again next time I visit Japan!

It's an APA Hotel, complete with the small, though efficient room, and a nice breakfast buffet offering (for a small fee). The true benefit of this particular APA, though, is its location directly adjacent to the Takasaki JR Rail station. Within an easy short walk from the front door of the rail station, this APA has everything I needed for a first night in Japan for my 2025 Japan trip. I loved Takasaki city, as well as the staff here at this APA. Very friendly, helpful, and offered me excellent suggestions for dinner and izakaya options for the evening. Buffet breakfast was actually wonderful. Had all I needed to fuel my day, and especially enjoyed the unique "sashimi konnyaku", a Gunma ken specialty, and the fresh grilled fish.

Missed my train and needed to overnight. The staff was very courteous and professional. Extending your stay is only ¥1,000 and done over the phone.

Stayed here in August 23 for 4 nights. We were able to communicate with the front staff in English with no problems. The ones we dealt with are all very friendly, approachable and helpful. Even with the ones with limited English, they tried their best to help which is appreciated. Rooms are typical APA micro sized. Shouldn't be any issue if you're only looking for a clean place for some good rest. There's some minor railway traffic noise at the lower levels but not loud enough to wake me up. It is a small price to pay for being conveniently located right next to Takasaki Station. In fact, you don't even have to go down to street level and you can use the elevated walkway to go straight to the hotel from the station. The breakfast is good value.

Good Hotel with Onsen. Clean, breakfast was very good. Quiet rooms and lots of shops and Izakayas to go to nearby. Also noticed a lot of pretty well behaved yet having fun young people hanging out by the station all night. Overall our stay was pleasant. The massage at the hotel next to the Onsen was so so. She talked too much and was distracted but that’s not the Hotel review. Will find her business and leave a review there too. Just FYI
