Aparta Hotel Caribe Paraíso

The backyard of this hotel opens directly to the beach – the view is absolutely stunning! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and they really did their best to meet all of my requests. I also loved the small restaurant across the street – it’s clean, affordable, and the food is great. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you’re visiting Juan Dolio!

The rooms are in terrible condition. While the hotel may have once been decent, it is now clearly neglected. The kitchenette was dirty, with no sponge or cleaning supplies provided. The kitchen drawers were stuck and couldn’t be opened. In the bathroom, there was no toilet seat, the sewage smelled bad, and all the fixtures were weak and unstable. In the bedroom, we found mold on the walls, and the balcony door wouldn’t close properly, creating a serious security concern. We had paid for two nights but were forced to leave without staying even one, due to the unacceptable and unsafe conditions. To make matters worse, no one was available at the front desk to help us or resolve the issue. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience.

I wouldnt stay here again if i got my next night for free, the beach feels cooler than the room, I had a horrible night sleep with the Air Conditioning not working in my first room and then i got changed to a worse room with a worse view and a air conditioner that doesnt blow cold air either, ive stayed here growing up as a kid and came back 7 years later and the difference is like night and day, it was clean now its not, and there is a damn rooster singing from 4:30 am to 7:00 am that wont shut up and has kept me up since 4:30 am, very very unhappy that i had to pay to experience this, shower head on my first room had algae growing on it and the first room had spider webs under it my mom told the cleaning lady even though I told her not to and the cleaning lady said thats not cobwebs its dust from the construction they were doing (i was on the 3 floor, the construction was on the 2nd floor) horrible gas light attempt my mom just looked at each other in disgust and the cleaning lady cleaned the spider webs finally. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Ill have videos of the algae on the shower i can send to anyone who ask since google only lets you put pictures up. Im not a big review person but I really pray no one else tries to dave some money on a cheap place like this is not worth it i wish i had the money for a nicer place in juan dolio, i wasted my valuable time with this place.🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🙃🙃🙃😭😭😭 Edit( i got someone to help with the air and I got it to work a little better, you have to turn the air conditioner on, then leave the on button pressed for 3 seconds for the air conditioner to work) i thought it was on becasue when we walked in to the hotel room the person showing the room just turned it on and we thought it was running, it makes the same noise when its off and when its on so its hard to tell) still the air is not cold just cooler than it was before)

The room and bathroom were dirty. The bathroom locked itself in the middle 9f night and we had to hit the door pretty hard to open it. The door to the room is broken amd the kitchen was also dirty. Basically, the only good thing was the closeness to the beach.

Good location. It was a budget friendly option that looked great in pictures, but I would not stay again. Staff was friendly and helped me with my luggage. No elevator, 3 or 4 story building. General infrastructure maintenance is needed.

You can't go wrong if you stay here! Adrian is an excellent host. We stayed for more than a week and Adrian asked us every time we saw him if everything was OK and if we needed something. The room was very clean and kept clean ( thanks Juana) the beach was just steps away from the hotel and included beach chairs and umbrellas. You can connect with the locals and get great food and service ( just ask for Claudio) There is a small Italian restaurant in front of the Hotel with good food and excellent service (ask for Mario, the owner and Alexis the Pizza man) You can't go wrong with this place!

I booked the apartment on line with Booking.com however after arriving a paid for my accommodations with their currency, no problems. I also sent them a mail reservation to ensure that my room would be ready upon arrival. The room was clean and the owner was very helpful. The manager was also helpful. She spoke good English and I some spanish and it worked out just great. The res/bar was also nice and the atmosphere adult like with many international guest. Close to the beach area with very few walking venders. Had a lovely stay, with all travel do your research before booking hotels etc.

Just returned from Juan Dolio and my stay here. 5 day stay was alright. Wifi connection went down the 2nd day no re-connection. Staff contributed downtime due to the Web Company. The change in staff seemed a little uneasy at first I was soon given another room due to my first room air conditioning went out. In fact this was an upgrade. My stay lasted 5 days. The restaurant out towards the beach closed until further notice the 2nd day I was there. Bad news, had to drive to Boca Chica for Breakfast my remaining stay. I liked the off street parking. Good location for us seniors. The facility was keep clean and the staff did a very good job of keeping my apartment clean. Nice view from balcony over watching the beach.
