Cannot fault the views from this apartment. We stayed in 'Cares' which is one of the lower apartments and we had some fantastic views from both our terrace and our bedroom. The master bedroom has a window from the shower that overlooks an amazing view too. Rooms are clean, spacious and warm. We stayed 3 nights for a walking holiday and it was a great location. You can easily cook in the apartments but if not there are some great restaurants in town 5 min walk away. We did not know until we arrived that breakfast was included so hadn't requested it. The owner was very accommodating for us but make sure you request in your booking that you would like the breakfast - especially if booking directly with them. Decent size toast, coffee, juice and homemade jams available which are good fuel for a day of walking!

We were looking for somewhere to explore the Picos De Europa and Costa Verde, and despite all the Covid constraints this was it. Less than 90 minutes from Santander, so hardly feels like you driven at all either. The accommodation is simple (if you're wanting something flash), but clean, comfortable and does all you need - we were self catering for 12 nights and it was fine. More importantly, it's in a perfect location, with the most amazing views, just a short walk into Las Arenas (with shops, bars and restaurants), 15 minute drive into the heart of the Picos De Europa and only 40 mins from beautiful, unspoilt beaches. Blanca was the perfect host as well.

This hotel is really well placed to do some of the great walks of Picos de Europa. Ideally you'll need a car, but the walks nearby to Bulnes and Cain are both incredible. Staying here we felt very well looked after by Blanca even when we had to contact to say we'd arrive after midnight. Breakfasts are basic but include lovely homemade jams and give you the energy you need to tackle the walking. The rooms are clean and very adequate.

We spent 3 nights in the hotels 2 bedroom "El Casina".The apartment has a double bed downstairs and 2 singles upstairs. Both rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is a little cramped and oddly does not include a kettle or cutting knife, but we cooked dinner in the apartment on 2 nights quite comfortably. WiFi signal was not strong inside the room but was OK on the little patio outside which had great views of the mountains. The town is only a 5 min walk down the hill but at the end of a days hiking we preferred to stay in and cook for ourselves. Blanca was a great hostess and provided table service at breakfast. Overall this hotel was very good value for a home away from home.

Everything was great (with one exception below) and the owner was terrific (helpful, friendly, offering us rides). This place is up on a hill above town (nice way to walk off dinner). The bedroom is adequate and the kitchen allowed for preparing simple meals. The views are as good as the website shows and it is nice and quiet except for some dogs barking in the distance. The only downside is the bathroom which had a persistent mold odor (apartment #2 if that matters).

A group of five stayed there for two nights. The rooms were clean and nice. During the day you could hear the neighbors but everyone was quiet and respectful at night. The included breakfast is nothing special (coffee, toast, juice, and packaged dry cakes) but convenient - the owner didn't seem to mind we brought our own pastries and fruit to the table the next morning. It was an easy walk to the area where there are restaurants and shops. Reasonably priced beer on the terrace after a day's hike was very pleasant. A few guests had dogs but they were not loud or bothersome.

Although located up the hillside this cosy little hotel and apartments are only a 4 mins walk to Arenas de Cabrales. Its a small town but has shops, cafe's and restaurants that met all our needs (Sept 2013). We stayed in one of Blanca's 2-person apartments which was just perfect - there was everything we needed in the kitchen/laundry to be self-contained but with the hotel right by when we needed a beer or conversation at the end of a long days walk!||The view from the bedroom to the church and town and out to the mountains was a delight and we did some great bird watching just from our balcony. Blanca was the perfect host - helpful, kind and she speaks good English too.||We stayed 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time - very relaxing and peaceful.

We recently spent 3 nights at this accomodation in an apartment having found it via the helpful information in the town. The accomodation is superb with brilliant views above the town but very easy to walk into town for meals etc. Blanca the owner was very kind and helpful and speaks good English which was helpful. Highly recommended.Ideal for the cares Gorge Walk etc.
