I was very pleasantly surprised by the apartments, it was very reasonable price yet had everything we needed spacious apartment, big balcony, great location near to the old and new town. We stayed in mid May so just before the full season. The reception were very helpful and allowed us to use a shower room because we had a night flight and stored our suitcases until we left at 6pm.|The kitchen is well equipped and has plates, glasses, cups (cups are too small for a proper cuppa though) , pans, utensils a bottle opener cork screw, a toaster, kettle, microwave and two ring hob. There’s even a utility room to dry wet clothes! We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. The sofa was comfy (note it’s not a sofa bed) big flat screen TV table and four chairs too. |The pool area is small and well maintained with lovely plants and design. The pool was really quiet ;mexcept for our last sat when disappointedly a large group of lads (stag do group) took over the pool area playing loud music and everyone else was forced to go out which was really sad as it had been perfect up to this point. I’m not against young lads having fun but there’s plenty of loud bars and public areas in the new town they could go. It really spoilt our last day and it would be great if there was a “no large stag group” policy or at least a “no loud music by the pool” policy . We much appreciated the pool area and it provides plenty of sunbeds which are free to use. There are many different nationalities staying at the apartments including Spanish too, which we liked as Benidorm does seem rather British oriented so nice change to hear other languages and enjoyed this. There’s no bar, cafe or food offerings at the apartments or by the pool not even a vending machine however there is a small supermarket a hundred metres away. This is an overpriced supermarket so we found a better much better value one called “Consum” ten mins away from the apartment. There are two lifts that were very reliable and quick. We stayed lower down (out of preference (as I suffer with vertigo) in apartment 2C but I would imagined there would be great views higher up. I still loved sitting on our balcony watching the world go by and we had a great view over to the pool area too. The reception is not always manned and has a closed door but a buzzer you can then get a member of staff to come to you, if you need. We mostly never needed to bother the receptionist who must work all around the building but when we did he was very polite and helpful. The location for us was perfect it was quiet enough and close to the old town as well as the new town and beach. |The foyer area is really nice with lots of tables chairs and nice rattan style sofa and table too. Wi-Fi is reliable and we used it a lot in the apartment. |Small criticisms are there are toiletries provided but not replenished and not enough toilet roll so we bought at least two more packs ourselves while staying. No kitchen towel or cloth so we bought our own no washing up liquid provided, the towels are adequate and small bath size as well as hand towels, only one toilet in pool public area which would be way better if two as it was combined with shower so if someone needed to shower then the toilet was also occupied. None of the criticisms were a big issue at all though. We would absolutely definitely come back and would request the same apartment as we found it perfect for our needs and within our budget. It’s not the Ritz of course but it’s very good for a two star and I would class it as three star, for the money it was extremely good! The apartment is clean and bright and we loved it so much we looking forward to booking another week’s stay there soon.
