we booked this apartment at the last minute , the day before we arrived , we was ment to book in at 3pm but arrived couple hours early and was able to get hold of the reception (which is not 24hrs) and they let us in early which was good of them as we had children with us , the rooms was clean the air conditioning worked well the kitchen was a bit basic no kettle but did have a micro wave ,as we were eating out all of the time, that did not worry us , in height of the season the apartments would be more suited for younger people not families , at night and early hours you hear a lot of noise form the road below unless you have a room at the back . there was a lot of banging doors and people shouting and making noise coming back from drinking . other than that the location to the west end is perfect just about 100yards away . again as this was a last minute booking we still all enjoyed our stay there and would be happy to stay again

Stayed here for a week with my children and other family members in other rooms. It wasn't very clean. No maids bothered coming to clean the room at all all week or change the bedding. We had to ask for clean towels when needed and even those didn't come clean. A few times they were covered in dirty brown stuff and alot of them were old and worn out with holes in. If you needed assistant it was hard between 2-5pm or after 7pm and even when somebody was available they weren't very helpful. I would definatly not recommend this place to anyone and was expensive for what it was. It was noisy but we expected that due to its location which was very central for the beach, the strip and the bus station. Certain to say I will not be staying here again. Dont even want to give it 1 star.

I have just ended my stay at the apartments mestret in San Antonio. We departed on the 7th of July 2019.||||The staff member was an elderly Spanish gentlemen, grey hair on the back and sides/bald on top. Very short and quite overweight. ||He did not speak any English.||||The first complaint I have about the staff member in question is that he has now in fact cost me about £50/€55. This is because on the evening of the 6th of July I washed a pair of swim shorts and left them on the balcony of our 5th floor apartment to dry, which were then blown off the balcony of the room I was staying in during the night of the 6th of July/early hours of the 7th of July. I had only previously purchased these shorts a week before travelling to Ibiza on the 3rd of July and purchased them back in the UK for £35. Also I has vest on the balcony drying off the same time that also got lost during this night along with a friends pair of swim shorts.||||The reason I am complaining about this member of staff is because once I had got back to my room, which was room 501. I had noticed the shorts and vest (along with a friends pair of shorts) had been blown off of the balcony this night by the wind and they had fallen to the ground floor where the area was cornered and fenced off next to the communal pool for mestret apartments and tropical hotel. When I went downstairs to speak to the elderly gentlemen he refused to even listen to me, as I knew he did not speak English I had made the effort to write out what had happened to my clothing and translate it on google translate so he could understand why I was going to him with my enquiry. He was very rude and basically hushed me away without even attempting to read what I had translated for him.||||Following this avenue not working and no other way to get my lost property back at this point myself and a friend came back down hoping to try again to speak to the elderly employee and we had found him talking to two Spanish gentlemen about 30 years old who also understood English, so I explained the situation to them and they were able to translate for us to the elderly employee, he again refused to be helpful in any way and translated back that he did not in fact want to help us, he refused completely and said go to the shop at 9am. As this was our last few hours in Ibiza we had to be at the airport for 8am and therefor had to leave San Antonio at 7:30am, we had our translators tell him this for us and explain that these were new clothes and we would greatly appreciate being able to get them in which he again replied with no and we were told that he basically told us to F**k off in Spanish, when I replied this in question to them and said “he said f**k off?” The elderly gentleman then actually turned to me and said to my face “si, f**k off”. With this I am greatly offended and will now be taking this complaint as far as I can, I think it’s absolutely disgusting that I was treated and spoken to this way as a customer at the mestret apartments, and also unable to get my property back which I had only just purchased recently. ||||The gentlemen had also threatened to phone the police on us for our stag wearing obscene outfits, when the outfits in question were all bought from fancy dress shops in the UK, covered all rude body parts and yes they were raunchy, but in no way sexually, racially or religiously offensive. He threatened to call the police on us for such a ridiculous reason and did make us feel very unwanted as holidaymakers, yet everyone we had met on the west end had thoroughly enjoyed the outfits, thought they were very funny and in good nature. ||||We did not spend much time in the hotel room as we were on a stag do, so we were coming in, having a few hours kip and then back down by the pool early. Most of the time in our room was spent either sleeping or washing. The rest of the time we were out of site as the actual apartment had nothing to offer us. ||We didn’t have any parties back in the room, we didn’t cause no trouble with other guests. So there was no reason for us to have a grudge with this elderly gentleman or for him to hold a grudge on us.||Fact of the matter is if you work in a hotel/apartments that are 100 yards from the west end then expect a stag do to stay there or refuse a booking of 6 men. With that being said we are quite respectable people and did keep all noise and any stag antics to an absolute minimum in the hotel and carried on with our day elsewhere.||||The gentlemen also threatened to phone the police for me asking to get my clothing back. ||||I will definitely not recommend this place. ||It was my 4th visit to Ibiza so I know what the place is about, the other times I stayed in Ibiza Rocks and never had any problems with staff members whatsoever.

This is a budget hotel for groups of friends to stay at when clubbing. I have stayed here twice (June 2015 and September 2016) and it did the job well. The location is excellent and is only a minute walk from the main strip. The rooms are basic but I didn't need anything more. The only draw back is that it doesn't have a pool and there is rarely anyone on reception which meant we were hanging around when we needed to check in. I would definitely stay here again if I was on a boys holiday.

Would not even give 1 star. Stayed here for a week with family in September 2018. Would not stay here again. The staff were rude. The apartment wasn't cleaned at all for the whole week even when requested and beds weren't changed. Towels were when asked but clean towels weren't always clean. Location wise was good for the strip and nightlife. Would not recommend for children.

Apartamentos Mestret has a good location in Sant Antoni de Portmany. That allowed me to walk only 20 minutes to a beach nearby. As its location is in the center, you wont find silence at any time of the high season, but that is normal for such a place as Ibiza, where the party never ends. We can hear the people partying on the street untill 7 in the morning. The Apartment has much space and the people that are working there are honest. I say that because I forgot my laptop there and they kept it safe untill I returned from the airport just to pick it up.||||The wifi and the airco were not working.

I stayed here on a ralaxing getaway with some of the blazing squad this summer, upon our arrival we found ourself having to check into a JCB hiring plant. After arguing with the door for 20 mins due to it not opening we finally got into our room. To be greeted with the pinkest bathroom it’s looked like Patrick from spongebob took a lump and dump over the walls. Our beds were spaced the same distance apart as the slaves were during the slave trade. ||||However the room did make a excellent slip and slide when we flooded it with lynx shower gel ||||And because of this we give it a solid 2/10

We stayed there for 11 nights. It is located about 5 minutes from bus station and few minutes from city center. But the place is good, room was good enough for the price. In the night the hotel is quiet just enough so that you can get a decent sleep if you need it.
