Apartamentos Playamar

Excellent location, everything within walking distance, taxi is cheap if needed. Great views of Benidorm, very clean & spacious accommodation. All staff were friendly, especially Danny who is a fountain of knowledge! Adequate pool & bar, plenty of sunbeds! Coconut bar next to the apartments is excellent, we ate & drank there most days/nights, Maria & the staff were very patient & helpful with our attempts at speaking spanish! We'll definitely be returning early next year!!!

From arrival to departure all the staff were helpful and extremely friendly. We had both the apartments on the top floor (23), which had fantastic views, and were very quiet.||Apartments are spacious, modern, well appointed, and very clean. ||The pool area is adequate for the 44 apartments even in August. Sunbeds available after 1000. No sunbed wars, with other holidaymakers generally considerate, or as much as personality allowed (you know who you are!).||No problem with €150 deposit being returned. Didn't bother with €10 per day air-conditioning - kept windows open.||Location good.||Would go back for sure.

Lovely clean and spacious apartment. The balcony is huge and the area was quiet. The staff were lovely and helpful. Fetching your own linen and taking the rubbish out wasn’t an issue doesn’t take 5 minutes we paid the deposit on card and had it back the day after we left. Great value for money will stay again.

Basic apartments but clean. You have to take your rubbish out yourself. No maid service. You can get clean linen if you ask at reception after 2 days. Coconut bar is awesome. Right outside the block. We ate there most nights lovely food and great staff. Price is good for food snd drinks. £34 euros for 2 meal and 5 drinks each. Plus I will add. When you get your first drink you get appetisers. They were lovely. Marianna, our host was fantastic. When you leave apartments you have to strip your beds and put all towels together. Not a problem for us.

Clean apartments and very central. Lots of room in them as well and the staff were lovely. You have to pay a €150 deposit as you need to leave the apartment as you found it but the whole process was very easy.||Space round the pool is a bit limited but you don't need to be down early for a lounger, that said I wouldn't leave it too late. They don't open the doors to the pool area till 1000.||Restaurants and bars within a 5 min walk and also Coconuts right outside the apartments. Benidorm market twice a week round the corner as well which is handy. Would recommend if you are looking for a cheap option.

3rd time at this hotel. Will always use these apartments. Spotless, comfortable with south facing balconies. Pool clean and plenty of beds. Staff very helpful and polite. Great location and tv has lots of English channels.

My husband, our two adult children, and I stayed in one of the apartments, which was perfectly adequate for the amount of time we spent there. We didn’t opt to pay extra for the air conditioning, as the unit was quite small and located only in the living area. Unfortunately, the apartment was very hot at night, which made it difficult to sleep—so much so that my husband and son ended up sleeping on the balcony for the last two nights.|On a positive note, the apartment was spotless when we arrived, and the rooms were a good size. We did notice a few ants in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a major issue. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.|Overall, despite the heat, we would consider staying here again if we return to Benidorm. The location was excellent and made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Absolutely fantastic weeks stay at the Playamar apartments. The apartments were spotless and spacious. We stayed on the 23rd floor which was not a problem as the 2 lifts were in working order all week, the view was amazing and it meant we could keep the balcony doors open at night which let in a bit of a breeze. ||Loved the fact the pool doors stayed locked until 10am as this meant no one was reserving sun beds at a ridiculously early time. |Some days we went out in the mornings and went to the pool upon return (around 2/3) plenty of people had left the pool by this time and taken their things with them meaning it was no problem getting a sunbed in the afternoon. ||Yes there is no cleaner and you have to change your own sheets etc .. this was no problem for us and certainly would not stop me returning. ||Plenty of bars and places to eat within a short distance from the apartments meaning we were never bored. And when we did want to venture further a field the number 1 or 10 bus is easy to catch from opposite Lidl and it takes you right into the centre of town! ||Recommend using Lidl rather than the smaller supermarkets .. who seem to want to rip you off (7euros for 6 bottles of water when could get a 5l bottle from Lidl for 0.65).||Benidorm palace is a must see and only a very short walk from the apartments. Our party ranged from adults in their 60s to teenagers and everyone came away having thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
