Apartamentos Playamar

Absolutely brilliant apartment, close enough to town but far enough away to get a good night's sleep. Cleanest apartment I have stayed in for a long time, the shower was amazing and the balcony was a really good size. Staff are all amazing and the pool area was perfect. The onsight bar offered drinks at a competitive price and there was also a vending machine. I will definitely stay here again, and absolute gem!

With what we paid, I was a bit dubious about what the apartments would be like, but I can honestly, they were top notch. From booking in, to booking out, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained to us, regarding the towel and sheet changes, etc, and it was great knowing there was no rush to be up in a morning, to let a cleaner in. It wasn’t an issue having to take our rubbish out, we always do anyway, even when where we stay is serviced. The bins were literally just on the main road outside the apartment building anyway. The pool was more than adequate and there was no rush to get a bed. There is a little on site bar, and the prices were very good, on par with the bars, and even cheaper than some of them. |I emailed asking for a high floor, and we were given room 22b, on the next to top floor. What a room. Spacious, spotlessly clean, the comfiest beds I have slept in abroad and a fantastic shower, with piping hot water, whatever time it was used. The views we had were breathtaking, and the balcony was a great size. We didn’t pay for air con, because with being so high up, our balcony doors were kept open 24/7, so it was always nice and cool. With only 2 apartments per floor, we weren’t bothered by any noise, and were never disturbed by any outside noise either. The apartments are in a great location, close to everything, with a great little cafe/bar right next door. Playamar, you certainly exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be back to stay with you again

My hubby and I stayed at these apartments last month. Staff are really good, nothing is too much trouble. Apartments are very spacious. Beds are very comfortable. Everything we needed. Love the location, can walk into the madness of the strip but then can leave it all behind when you go home.

Excellent location, everything within walking distance, taxi is cheap if needed. Great views of Benidorm, very clean & spacious accommodation. All staff were friendly, especially Danny who is a fountain of knowledge! Adequate pool & bar, plenty of sunbeds! Coconut bar next to the apartments is excellent, we ate & drank there most days/nights, Maria & the staff were very patient & helpful with our attempts at speaking spanish! We'll definitely be returning early next year!!!

Just come back from a 2 weeks stay here. It's perfect for us. No interruptions from maids. Change towels every 2 days, if you want, and bed sheets every 4 days. Apartments are gorgeous and very spacious. The beds are very comfortable, and the shower is well, thought of. The lower shower is great for washing hair, and the high shower is like a rain shower. Perfect. Can't fault anything. People on the reception are brilliant. Ask anything, and they do it for you. Can't wait to go back again. Highly recommend anyone to stay here. But not when I want a room. 😁

Great apartments, immaculately clean, nice furniture, spacious, well equipped kitchen.|You do have to change your own sheets, just exchange at reception same for the towels.|Staff are friendly and helpful, and nothing is a bother. Nice not having maids knocking on the door in the morning.|HUGE balcony facing the sea, sun all day from 10.30 onwards. Great view from room 19. |Only 2 rooms per level, so no noise from people passing by.|Close to market and a leisurely stroll to the sea about 15 minutes.|Plenty of places to eat and drink, shops close by and 2 big supermarkets nearby one being lidli.|A couple of points that would make things a little more convenient. |A shelf or 2 in the bathroom and / or hooks on the doors, cushions for the pool beds as they are sooo hard, the pool area is not very large. There was no directory for the phone if you needed someone in an emergency. However, im sure if you asked reception, they would tell you, would still be better in the room by the phone.|We had a great time at Playamar. It's was nice to be away from the noisey strip.|We will definitely be back.

Stayed here for 5 nights and couldn’t find a single fault. Staff were excellent, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Yes you take your own rubbish out and go to reception for towel change but def not a hardship. Walk to strip and beach but grateful for the quiet at night. Restaurants and bars a 5 minute walk to the right of apartments.

Clean apartments and very central. Lots of room in them as well and the staff were lovely. You have to pay a €150 deposit as you need to leave the apartment as you found it but the whole process was very easy.||Space round the pool is a bit limited but you don't need to be down early for a lounger, that said I wouldn't leave it too late. They don't open the doors to the pool area till 1000.||Restaurants and bars within a 5 min walk and also Coconuts right outside the apartments. Benidorm market twice a week round the corner as well which is handy. Would recommend if you are looking for a cheap option.
