We've had an awesome holidays here. Such a cozy place! Up between the mountains with sounds of a raging river, birds and cow bells. Sound of mighty wind makes you to sleep Soo good at night, while you're at stony strong house with fireplace in attic room under your warm blanket 🥰 unforgettable. Landscapes around are just inspiring! Friendly donkey, free-grazing cows, horses... We had luck to come in a warm autumn sunny day to explore the surroundings, green valleys, and colorful yellow-orange forest. But to wake up under a snowstorm 🥰🥰🥰. At the foot of the mountain in the town there are nice coffee houses. Lots of hiking trails and picnic sides. I can call it nice place to visit with kids, as well. Many playgrounds around. Try local honey! Thanks Irene for welcoming us!!!!

The other reviews here are for the branas - the little luxury huts, which look fantastic. In contrast, we came to the campsite with our family tent, car and trailer (you couldn't handle the roads up the mountain with a caravan in tow). Like the other reviewers who stayed in the huts, we were delighted by the welcome, the area, and the food in the restaurant. We also really appreciated the campsite, which has good basic facilities and lots of space to spread out when camping. There were little log tables and stools around the field, which campers can adopt as part of their outdoor life, a stream, farm animals and a wonderful view of rocky mountain cliffs populated by agile goats. You can't take your car or trailer onto the camping field, which keeps things spacious and quiet, and wheelbarrows are provided to help you transport your equipment! Temperatures are quite cool as you are high in the mountains, and once the sun leaves the valley in the evening you'll forget you're in Spain, so bring some warmer clothes and bedding.

Simple campsite but with good clean facilities set in the tiny village of Lagos with views of the limetone cliffs and peaks around. Very casual site with no regimented camping places and plenty of space for kids to run around. The site is green and grassy wih a small bubbling stream and direct access to walks. Our favourite site in northen Spain.

We have come here several times over the last 6 years to stay in the campsite, stay in the huts or just to have a drink in the bar. It is a beautiful and very special place that we have recomended to many friends over the years. Sadly there are new owners now and we did not even get a chance to have a coffee as they asked us to leave very aggressively because we had dogs and we were on private land. We apologised to them as we had always brought our dogs here in previous years and sid not realise it had changed ownership, but the owner was angry and he and his family stood over us until we left. We have never experienced any hostility and aggression like this in Asturias so sadly we will not return or recommend to others.

Great location, cozy old style houses and a beautiful environment to enjoy few days in Somiedo national park. People is helpful and nice. We did really enjoy!

The car park, picnic benches and camping field next to the Branas are PRIVATE. This is not obvious which is why we sat at one of the tables by the river and why we picked a few small field mushrooms in the grass. When we were told it was private land we immediately apologised, offered the mushrooms to the owner and started packing up to go. Despite packing as quickly as possible 3 people came to angrily tell us to leave. When we tried to explain this really was a mistake the owner started shouting. AVOID!!

These built for purpose holiday cottages recreate the vernacular architecture of the region to its finest details.||You will be surrounded by nature in one of the most beautiful regions of Spain, and will have plenty of trekking routes to visit impressive landscapes or watch the wildlife of the region, including grizzly bears!|||
