Apartamentos Turísticos Laredo Playa

😊: We had the family apartment which was really big and spacious for us and our teenage boys. There is a wraparound balcony all around our apartment that faces out towards the buzz of the street and has the sun pretty much all day with shade for breakfast and lunch etc… Clean and a great shower. Free Wi-Fi and a kitchen equipped with the basics. Great location next to all the local restaurants and mini supermarket, 5 mins walk from the amazing beach and 25mins walk to the old town area of Laredo.. 😢: Is definitely a street that is alive 24/7 in terms of bars and restaurants! If you don’t like noise and like to sleep with a window open, this is probably not the place for you. No AC just fans, which are absolutely fine as I don’t like AC!.

It is a simple aparthotel located not very close to the city center but very close to the beach. For families with children it is a very good site because there is so much noise at night parties and is close to the beach. The employees are very friendly and the rooms are very clean. Bathrooms are spacious and for a family of 4 enough space. There are supermarkets nearby for small purchases. There are also several bars and restaurants nearby. The only problem we had one night with the bar below our room kept his TV on until late in high volume preventing sleep until very late.

We have not rented an apartment before but were delighted with our three days in our small apartment that was spotless and contained all you need for a pleasant self contained vacation. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, the location within a few minutes walk to the excellent beach and though there was no dedicated parking there was plenty of space in the road during early July. I have posted a photo to help you locate the apartments as the road does not show on my GPS (Neither TomTom nor Garmin) nor on Google Maps. The passenger ferry is a ten minute walk, 3.50 euros return and takes you to another area of Laredo.

I had booked this Accomodation on booking.com, there was no mention of the limited hours the reception desk was manned. After a very wet day we arrived at the apartment to be told we could not check in until 4pm, even though we had asked to change our wet clothes. The receptionist arrived late at 4.15, and when I asked later for a hairdryer (not an unreasonable request) I was told there wasn't one, and what did I expect for €55? We wanted to pay in the evening as we wanted to leave early the next morning. It was only when we looked over from the adjoining bar around 8.30 we realized she had gone home. The bar owner rang her, she then argued we would have to stay until 9am to pay when she would arrive. We finally agreed to leave money in the bar. A very poor level of service and poor attitude.

Los apartamentos están perfectamente ubicados. Muy cerca de la playa y encima de una zona de bares y restaurantes muy concurrida. Lo bueno de eso, es que aunque pueda parecer que las noches van a ser horribles por el ruido, no se escucha nada dentro de la habitación. El servicio muy amable y las habitaciones son amplias y limpias. Con una terracita para poder desayunar, comer o cenar bastante cuca. Repetiríamos sin duda.

Hemos pasado la semana santa allí y solo hemos utilizado los apartamentos para dormir, bueno si se puede decir dormir, porque abajo hay un bar y en el apartamento se escucha todo es como si tuvieras la cama en el bar, se oye continuamente el hablar de la gente, las sillas recorrerlas, la música, etc. El sábado día 19.04.2025 eran las 2 de la madrugada y con la música puesta y la gente hablando fuerte. En fin si queréis dormir por la noche no son aconsejables porque todo la parte de abajo son bares.
