We had a great holiday at Apartaments Blau. The place, the beds, the towels were clean and everything works perfectly. The view from the balcony is great and the building is close to everything that you need as shops, bus station, beach… A special thanks to Monica and her amazing service! :)))

We arrived late after midnight but the Receotion is 24hrs which was really useful. Staff were super friendly and spoke some English - there is a small tourist tax and a cash deposit of €100 required at check-in.||Our room was big with a separate bedroom on the 5th floor to the rear of the property, the balcony was smaller at the back than the rooms at the front that can fit 2 chairs and a table, but there was little noise being at the back. ||The kitchen has everything you need for making small meals and snacks with enough crockery and cutlery for 4 people. Whilst the rooms can accommodate 4, it would have been cosy.||TV and aircon both worked well, towels were replaced every 2 days with enough towels to change daily. Clean sheets were provided after 1 week. Apartment was very clean if a little dated though light fittings in bedroom were very dusty and bathroom fan needed vacuuming due to build up of dust.||Hot water was plentiful with washing up liquid and some soap and shampoo/conditioner sachets in the bathroom provided. ||Plenty of wardrobe storage for clothes with a safe for hire that we didn't need. You need to ask for a kettle and leave a deposit at Reception but we managed with the on-hob coffee maker and a pan.||Layout of apartments mean all bedroom have an internal window off a communal atrium, this wasn't a huge issue but I did get woken up once at 3.30am and could imagine it being a nightmare in high season with people out until late - I'd definitely recommend ear-plugs.||The location of the hotel is perfect, very central and minutes from the beach, though there is a Spar supermarket under the hotel we found it very expensive and made the trip out to Lidl a few times and went to Dia about 5 minutes away for daily bits.||Swimming pool and solarium were great on the top floor with sea views, pool a little cold but great when it got hot. ||One thing we did have issues with were mosquitoes getting into the bathroom, they may have come through the air vents or just from the balcony when we opened the door but we had 3 or 4 over 10 days and got bitten quite badly - ensure you use repellent. ||Overall very pleasantly surprised with the hotel, for the price I'd defintely stay again, though maybe not in the high season due to its proximity to the strip and potentially noisy revellers but in October it was perfect. ||

We have stayed here the last 2 years. Apartment's are in a great location, everything you need is nearby. Perfect for my sister who cant walk to far. Suit us perfectly. Some people expect to much, basic apartment's and roof top pool is great 😎

We thought that it would be nice considering it was close to the beach, but it was a nightmare. There was sperm on the walls, you have to take out your own trash out, clean the kitchen , and you don’t get new towels. When we told the front desk about the sperm they didn’t act surprised. If you fail to clean to their standards they will take your deposit. Highly recommend that you pay a little extra to stay in a hotel.

It was a late buy great price, Read it was on the "Main Strip" and read reviews regarding noise. Great location really in the heart of everything - Beach, Shopping, Clubs, and Bars. This is a blessing and a curse. Yes the noise outside is loud (it was expected) but if you close the balcony door and it is almost silent from outside.||The noise inside mainly from the younger element shouting, banging, singing etc was bad for the first three nights at 2/3 am in the morning..However, this improved for the remaining 7 nights, As I sort of hinted at, We expected a bit of rowdiness, but in the long run wasn't as bad as we feared.||The apartment overall was pretty modern, very clean, and as I said great location. The front staff was professional and courteous at every time we saw them as we left or returned. Plenty of room in the apartment, and the balcony overlooking the main strip was small or as I say "Cozy" big enough for two. The bedroom and bathroom were perfectly adequate. There could have been a few more cooking utensils pans etc. The towels were replaced every 2 days and the bedding every 7 days although the sheets and pillowcases were just left for you to make the beds yourself, not a big issue but we are used to hotel rooms rather than apartments, so perhaps we expected the beds to be made. also, you have to take your own bags of rubbish out to bins near the reception||The free wifi on the 4th floor was brilliant, no buffering at all and we were watching YouTube etc on the Kindle fire.||The pool area on the roof was a nice quiet area and a nice place to read. We would return as we know more about the apartments and the local area|

This is a hotel for partying, not for resting. There are people partying and arriving drunk all night, until 6 am. The walls and floor seem as made out of thin paper, as you can hear everything that happens in the whole building. I am actually impressed of how much you can hear. Impossible to sleep without earplugs. The apartments are way too small for 4 people. The beds are very bad, and if you are on the back side of the building, you will have a beautiful view to a Favela. When we arrived there was a broken glass (half of it was gone) stored with the rest of the glasses, which wouldn't have been a problem if there was sufficient light to see it properly before grabbing it. I cannot understand how could someone rate these apartments with 5 stars, or even 2. We wanted to leave earlier, but there is nowhere else to stay. Honestly, this is by far the worst place I have stayed at.

Had a great time, only gripe was that we had to supply our own toilet paper this time.

So currently staying here. Very basic apartment and only offer twin beds. (That’s ok get in one bed and cuddle up closer 😉) on our 3rd day and bedding not changed but maid been in left clean sheets (make your own bed) and fresh towels and loo roll. (They leave you 2 rolls with about 15 sheets on each roll we had to buy more yesterday)||Location wise it’s great right on the strip and 2 mins to beach. We hardly spent any time in room other than sleeping or lack of it. So if you want a budget break close to everything then this is the place for you. For all you miserable sods leaving bad reviews you get what you pay for. The beach is just stones. Roof top pool and it’s freezing but then again it’s October so what do you expect. I string it recommend going to one of trip operator shops and booking excursion to Barcelona to see fountain display and sightseeing you get 5 hours at leisure then go see fountain show at 9pm A MUST SEE. Was €29 each coach picks up a few doors away from apartments. Weather not too bad. I’m always cold so ladies cardigan for an evening. Ignore the bad reviews it’s ok. If you want to waited on hand and foot then pay for a 5star hotel with 24 hour all inclusive abs stop complaining 🧐
