We had read varying reviews ahead of arriving last Friday, some rating it very highly and others very poorly. When we arrived, first impressions were “it’ll be ok, better than maybe expected”. Outside bar was nice, friendly staff on there, pool areas looked good etc. Room was ok, not much going on decor wise but it was a good size etc and we had paid extra to have a balcony. All pretty decent.||However, food was below “normal” expectations for an all inclusive. A very multi-national hotel destination so maybe our bland English tastes weren’t especially catered for in the main restaurant. We had seen the “little Italy” restaurant and tried here another night, much better and much quieter in there, then 100+ guests from a football camp entered and literally took over the restaurant. Fortunately we had finished so swiftly got out. We found it very difficult to even get into the restaurant and were even turned away due to the multiple large, football based groups staying at the hotel. Young people with minimal supervision and little regard for other guests at the hotel in and around the bar areas (which in reflection isn’t big enough for the amount of guests this hotel has) and in the lifts!||The worst part, having paid the extra for a bigger suite with balcony, was the noise from the more “party going” younger guests returning to the hotel at any time of night, multiple times after 4am and we genuinely didn’t have a full nights sleep on any night of our 7 day stay. Paper thin walls and disrespectful guests.||Pool area was very good, can see the appeal for families who simply want to chill by the pool whilst the kids play. ||Location was excellent, can see why younger guests want to stay so close to the main strip with multiple clubs, bars etc.||Lloret was beautiful, very scenic coastal areas, lovely town area with bustling bars and restaurants and shops.||We would stay in Lloret again but definitely not at this hotel. Not suitable for our needs as a mid thirties couple without children on holiday with us nor looking to get fully on the drinking session until the early hours.

I’ve been here 2 days now, I read the mixed reviews before coming and can admit I was a little worried. However I am more than pleasantly surprised!|Room is nice, comfy huge bed and the kids have their own little space. Bathroom is spacious and all very clean.|It rained yesterday but that did not stop the kids from enjoying the pools and the slides.|The breakfast is absolutely fine, plenty to choose from and loads of fresh fruit.|We didn’t eat lunch at the restaurant instead we opted for the snack bar which again was really nice.|Dinner had plenty for adults and children, I had some lovely pasta and really nice chicken.|The hotel is very central and less than 10 min walk to the beach.|There are large groups but so far we haven’t had any issues. The restaurant is huge so even though the hotel is busy it’s not a long wait for the bar or food.|The staff have all been really nice, have been funny with the kids and the entertainment last night was kids dancing then music but a really nice atmosphere.|I genuinely can’t see what there is to complain about! |It’s not a 4 star but it really is a nice hotel.

We’ve had the best week here. The staff are all so friendly. The value for the price we paid was amazing. Yes the hotel is a little tired in places and is probably not a 4 star in my opinion but it’s absolutely spotless the beds are comfy and the facilities although not all open for the season yet are all great. My kids absolutely loved the pools and all the options available to them. The staff work hard and it’s obvious they take pride in the place and maintenance are constantly working in the grounds blowing leaves and painting etc. for the price they ask you shouldn’t be fussy it’s value for money and if you really want high end then go and pay high end prices.

Stayed 22/29 May24|I had read reviews of this hotel on here prior to arriving.|Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. |Though the hotel is a little dated, in need of some tlc in places, but my initial thought was nice clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. |We hadn’t paid a lot for a week, we were B&B |( this was decided after reading reviews again on here about food) |We arrived about 11am but weren’t allowed in our room till 3pm. If I had been all inclusive at this point I would have been annoyed as you are not allowed to start your all inclusive offer until you receive your room cards (3pm) |We had packed swim wear ready to use the facilities as soon as we arrived. |There are 6 pools in total 3 main pools,2 little ones pools and a deep smaller pool. |We chose the pool near the water slides and children’s splash area. Great size.|This area was only open from 10.30-2.30 as not hight of season. Our girls (9 &11) were happy with the Pool and the water slides which we’re working and not busy at all. |We stayed here till our room was ready (3pm) |We paid extra to have a “separate room” |The layout of these rooms are a little odd though… (room 1111) walk in to short corridor, nice size bathroom on right with good wardrobe space opposite.|You walk through in to main bedroom. The separate room is then in front of that through a sliding door where 2 single beds are and then there is another sliding door out to the balcony. |Room was generally tidy and clean beds were comfortable. |Whilst there was a room “blower” heating and cooler system , it wasn’t that cool the air, and would be interesting to see what it was like in the height of summer, I’d like to add that the system only did the main room and not the room with single beds in, at night the room with the single bed in would get very warm! |There was a small fridge in the room which I thought was a bonus, but the room had no kettle, which I thought was disappointing. |As we were bed and breakfast, we went out that evening in the resort of Lorett de mar.|If you want to eat Burgers, kebabs and pizza for the whole of your holiday then bed and breakfast is for you!|If not then trust me, you need to try the food in the hotel! I will explain more later. We had McDonalds that night.|Breakfast!!|Coffee great!|Fruit juice awful!|Typical European breakfast |Not great bacon and sausages but hey, we are not in the uk! Beans scrambled eggs fried eggs good, fresh melon, cereals, croissant, other pastries, muffins, toast, hams and cheeses etc.|There is something for everyone. We have one girl who eats and tries anything and one very fussy, both ate well.|On our second day we decided to explore Lorett some more for food places.|There are some quite nice places along the sea front that do fish, but the more we looked the more pizza and fast food places we found, oh and there were some steak places. |After a couple of nights in the resort we decided to pay to go all inclusive at the hotel.|We had had enough of fast food and wanted something different.|I would like to say that we enjoyed all that was on offer from the hotel at lunch and dinner.|There was variety, salads, vegetables, turkey one night, pork another, paella, pasta with bolognese, carbonara, pizza.|The girls wanted chips one night and the kitchen staff cooked some.|I for one was impressed ( after reading some of the reviews on here) with the food at the hotel, and actually if I hadn’t read the reviews and gone all inclusive in the first place I would have been happy and actually would have saved £££|Don’t get me wrong, I have done an all inclusive in turkey were the food was out of this world, but that was £2000 more!|Funny enough I had a conversation with a guy with regards to the quality of the hotel, he wasn’t impressed… showed me a picture of titanic hotel in turkey…. Yes I said but how much did you pay for that and how much did you pay for this!!’|On the whole this is not a 4 star hotel as it shows out the front. But it is a nice hotel, and good value for money.|Personally Lorett de mar needs a massive upgrade but we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Guitars Aqua hotel Lloret De Mar||||Guitars Aqua hotel Lloret De Mar||We stayed in this hotel for a week classed as a four star hotel you would not give it one star.We stayed on an All Inclusive basis which was a waste of money.||Rooms were very small and we requested a double bed but ended up with twin beds we complained but nothing happened. The rooms were cleaned every day but hand towels were left and not bath towels. When asked the cleaner for bath towels she stated they had none left.||Pool area was very dated and most of the sunbeds were broken. You was given a plastic cup for a drink and had to keep this cup for all drinks. You hggad to queue for a drink and this could take anything up to 20mins as there was only one person behind the bar serving food and drinks everyone was complaining but as usual nothing happened.||The food was typically Spanish with noting hot only like warm, therefore you we was eating out all the time.||My advice to anyone thinking of saying here would be to give it a miss. I cannot see anyone being a repeat customer.

I don't know where to start, after reading reviews I genuinely thought ' how bad can it be' ||And for the 1st 2 days I genuinely thought the reviews were a little over the top. However they are not wrong. |We are currently on our last day and I just want to go home and have for 3 days.|We paid for a superior room which isn't superior. We have a bathtub unable to use as no plug. |Seems petty but we paid for a bath tub 🤷‍♀️|Balcony is a decent size but has an open top on the 3rd floor so when it rained we couldn't even sit out and it was still hot. |Rooms are dated but beds are comfortable not that it makes any difference because you can't sleep. The walls are PAPERTHIN and you can hear everything. We are part of what looks like previously an ajoining room. The only thing keeping next door separate is a very thin cardboard lined door. ||Because of the area there are alot of young people coming here to go clubbing. They have no respect they've woke us up running, screaming, singing at every hour of the night. This seems to always be the case going by other reviews only going to get worse during summer months I'm guessing. |The hotel caters to very large groups of people ( 80+) we've seen at least 3 and they use the dining room at the same time we have been turned away a few times as no space. |Not that you want to est in the dining room as the food is literally inedible we are not usually fussy but there is literally nothing to eat. The best meal is breakfast which is still slim pickings. We did manage to get what looked like over cooked chicken one night and within a few hours we both had bad tummy's though the night. The food is cold and I don't mean lukewarm I mean cold. Under headlamps but still cold?! It makes no sense. We came all inclusive and have only had 3 meals in a week. It's really below standard for any star. ||Staff are friendly on the outside bar but often queues are long. Pools are great and alot of sunbeds but still not quite enough for the amount of people here. The hotel has many spaces which are not utilised resulting in all the crowds and slow service. Unsure if this opens later into the season. However it is june now so I thought it would of been by now. ||I will never ever come back here and I'm speaking to my holiday rep about it who said they are going to do a fast review. ||Main issues are the the noise and over crowding. ||Lloret is a nice place and may return but not for a while as it put me right off. |If you are thinking of booking this hotel especially as a family I would consider the crowds and waiting times and I wouldn't come all inclusive... |If you have already booked and have time to change please do that. You will not enjoy your holiday.|If you can't change then try and make the best of a bad situation like we have had to. Other than the hotel we have had a nice time. Good luck x

There was a festival on the week we went which wasn't told about it took over the whole hotel couldn't use the upstairs pool as it was packed with dancers waterpark shut at 2.30pm we where told to use downstairs pool which then was busy with paying guest as the the upstairs pools where overun by the festival didn't see any entertainment apart from music from a bar partys in the rooms till early hours felt like i was in ibiza with my 7 and 10 year old girls. Im all up for people enjoying themselves but should of been told there would be a festival on in the hotel
