Aparthotel Adagio Basel City

(Location) Luckily you get free transport in Basel if you stay in the city. Without this, I would say the location is a bit far away from the main city centre. For some if lost it takes 30 minutes to walk to the old town. The tram is quick and takes less than 10 minutes. |The hotel is easy to find and you can see a big Adagio sign. The tram stop is still a 5 minute walk. Surroundings you can find supermarkets (minus Sunday) opened and restaurants.||(Hotel) The hotel staff are very polite. You can pay for breakfast if you would like and they sell a few drinks etc for the room. You can grab a few fruit teas for free.|As for the room. I would say it's a delight. The kitchen has pans, utensils, microwave oven with grill, electric induction hob, plates, cups, Nespresso (you have to buy your own capsules). I didn't see a kettle but I never used it as it was a hot day. There is a fridge too.|As for the bed, it was comfortable. You have on each side plug sockets which is convenient. Cupboards to store your clothes. TV with plenty of channels but mainly foreign. Extendable table to eat but could have done with one more table. |The bathroom was big and the shower was powerful. The bath tub was a bit mouldy on the edges though.||(Anything else?) There's a gym in the basement. There is onsite parking. There are washing machines but you have to pay and get your own detergent which is normal.

Rooms are nice and clean. Reception desk has always 1 or 2 very available and knowledgeable clerks. Hospitality upon arrival is very pleasant and you have a piano and matraquilhos to play. I loved to stay here although room cleaning is only included for more than 8 days stay. Wheelchairs can circulate easily.

It is my first time to stay in Adagio chain of hotels, particularly in Basel Switzerland and I look forward in booking in the same hotel in my future trips in different parts of the world.||Stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights with a friend. ||Reasons:|1. Apartment type hotel conveniently located to supermarkets and public transpo such as tram.||2. It has laundry area, gym and luggage storage.||3. Spacious room. Feels like a home away from home.||4. Own kitchen and living room area.||5. Friendly staff at the reception. Free pastries, welcome drinks at the lobby. ||6. Has a small snacks counter in the reception. ||7. Comfortable and cozy lobby reception.||10/10 as rating.

A great place to stay on Basel. The price point and location at about $usd125 is great. I’d suggest getting the breakfast as it’s sick good quality. I fell in love with the lebekase. Rooms are small get so functional. Love the trundle bed and kitchenette. Great value property.

I am in Basel for business frequently. I stayed here for 23 nights in a studio room. The room was spacious enough to store my clothing, food, etc. It was nice that the windows opened to get fresh air. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities worked well. The fitness center is small and dark but it provided what I needed at the time. The location is great. Very close to restaurants and all the shopping (food and clothing) I needed during my extended stay. It’s just a few minutes walk to a few tram stops. And very close to the Christmas markets. I would definitely stay at an Adagio again.

Stayed 3 nights. Room was spacious and warm with everything you need for making light meals. Quiet location, 2 minute walk from tram. Supermarket 2 minute walk and easy to get into the Old Town. Friendly staff. Would stay again if in Basel.

Good service, nice rooms with kitchen. very good located, 5 min walk from Basel Messe. 10 min walk from good restaurants.
