Very spacious rooms/apartments and great value. The two small apartments we rented had very generous ceiling heights (see attached photo, taken as I was leaving the room, hence the unmade beds) and balconies with two small chairs. Everything was spotlessly clean and functional. Could perhaps have used some shampoo (only liquid soap is provided), an ironing board and iron. The kitchen is nice, but there was no kitchen fan (at least not in these small apartments, don't know about the larger ones), so I would not plan on doing any serious cooking. But for scrambling some eggs for breakfast, it was perfectly adequate. Above all, it was extremely good value (therefore the 5 stars), and only a short walk from the convention center and public transportation. The lobby staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English, but note that the lobby closes at 5 pm.

The apartment living and bedroom area was so spacious. Large wardrobe and 2 lots of drawers. We had checked into B&B nearby but even their 4 person room was too small for 2 people so we moved here (similar price). Its an older building and some apartments need stairs to access (we asked for one that didn't and got one ok). They do bag of Laundry for EU12 and it came back quickly and they put an ironing board and iron in our room with it. Location is great for onfoot exploration and plenty of breakfast options and supermarket nearby. Sheisshaus restaurant nearby was great. If there was any negative it is the lack of microwave in our appartment.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The receptionists have been professional and gentle. You feel a professional approach in the management. Pretty decent ratio quality-price. I personally prefer hotels to aparthotels, but this is just my personal taste, and the feedback here is definitely positive.

Fantastic! The location is very safe and easy walk to old city, Dresden Mitte, restaurants. The room is spacious comfortable and clean! Loved the kitchen space perfect to fix few meals! Absolutely perfect! Also, Paul at the front desk was wonderful! He kept my luggage before check in and got me all checked in if I could not come back before they close! Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment up in the rooftop, we required 2 bedrooms and this apartment gave us so much more. Spacious living area, a second toilet and two large bedrooms. Easy walking distance to the main Dresden attractions we also had a short walk to the tram and train station (Mitte). It also had a balcony where we ate, and enjoyed an evening beverage or two. The kitchen was very well equipped. Would highly recommend.

Close to the train station, with easy access to trains going to Hauptbanhof and Neustadt stations, 5 minute walk from the city center, Staff are very nice and excited to help you. There is a balcony, but it is not possible to get there because the door is very strange and hard to open.

Aparthotel am Zwinger provides clean, tidy and fairly basic accommodation in a location which is easily accessible from the airport and around a 15-minute walk from most of the attractions of Dresden’s old town.||||The accommodation, in a couple of converted town houses, is clean and functional, with a no-frills feel. The first three floors of our building were served by an elevator but the final leg of the climb to our attic apartment was via a winding staircase only. If you find stairs difficult then be sure to ask for an apartment on a lower floor.||||The amenities in the apartment were clean and tidy. Our ‘double’ bed was, in fact, two fairly uncomfortable single beds bolted together, which was hardly ideal but manageable for a couple of nights. The kitchenette was simple but sufficient for breakfast and maybe light meals. Alternatively, breakfast is available in the restaurant downstairs at a reasonable price (á la carte in the week and a buffet at weekends).||||The check-in experience was efficient and the receptionist was very helpful. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay and these were attended to promptly and professionally. On checkout, there was space to leave our luggage whilst we took one last look around the town before catching a late flight.||||If you’re planning to explore the old town of Dresden then the hotel is fairly well-situated. The Zwinger Palace is around 10 minutes away on foot and, from there, you can continue into the centre of the old town for all of the popular historical sights. If you would rather take public transport, there is a tram stop just a short walk from the hotel and the city's tram network is extensive enough to take you practically anywhere central with minimum effort.||||If you're flying into Dresden then getting to Aparthotel am Zwinger couldn't be easier. The nearest station to the hotel - it's just across the street - is Dresden Mitte, which is a direct 20-minute journey from the airport. If you’re arriving by car, there is secure covered parking nearby.||||Aparthotel am Zwinger is a good choice for a short stay if you’re visiting Dresden's old town. Don’t expect luxury but you can be confident of good service and clean, practical accommodation.

The accommodation is really spacious with a kitchen area and the bathroom actually includes a bath. It is well-located, being just a short walk from Dresden city centre. Wi-fi works. The place was clean.
