ApartHotel Costa Encantada

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a really enjoyable experience, with just a couple of minor issues.||To get the negatives out of the way... we were in block C, which were the apartments with the pool view. These haven't been updated yet so look a bit tired. On arrival, we did notice that the bathroom wasn’t 100% clean (hairs and debris in places) also there were some dirty cups and cutlery in the drawers, which was a bit disappointing. However, we didn't use any of these as we were all inclusive.|The room itself was spacious and very quiet at night, perfect for a good night’s sleep. ||The pools were definitely one of the highlights, especially for families with children. Lifeguards were present all the time, and it was great to see how child-friendly everything was. Despite the usual 9am rush, we could always find a sun lounger (no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve one!) ||The snack bar was fantastic, really convenient to be able to help yourself to food, drinks, and ice creams throughout the day.||The main restaurant had a good variety of food, even for an all inclusive. There was always something to suit different tastes, and the desserts were especially amazing.||The hotel is not located directly in Lloret de Mar, it’s only about a 15 minute walk away, which actually worked in our favour as the area around the hotel was much quieter and more relaxed.||We didn’t use the entertainment so I can’t comment on that, but the staff were lovely throughout our stay. A special mention to the animation team who were always friendly and full of energy.||All in all, a great family friendly hotel with a few minor issues on arrival, but plenty of positives that made up for it.

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay, originally just booked bed and breakfast but upgraded to half board when we got there for really reasonable prices. Excellent facilities, friendly staff and decent buffet food with plenty of options. The room was pretty basic and it’s a bit of a walk from the centre but we knew that when we booked and there are options for newer rooms. Entertainment was a bit lacking but we ventured out on an evening anyway. Would do 10 days next time, possibly all inclusive.

Family of 4, we were here mid August. The hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect. 10 min walk to the local beach, 15 min walk to the Lloret de Mar main 1km beach. The hotel is so clean, the hotel staff are super friendly. The food is great, there was something for everyone. The restaurant was very clean, the staff were basically following you with a brush all the time, the tables were turned over very quickly to accommodate the amount of people in the hotel. The pools were great, 3 main pools and a splash park, all were very clean, the entertainment staff made the atmosphere so enjoyable. My children made friends for life, each day they hung out and splashed about. You can access food all day if you are all inclusive, and you of course have drinks at your finger tips, as well as hot drinks and water. I would highly recommend this hotel, we were so pleased with everything and had nothing to complain about. Oh and free wifi throughout the hotel :)

We had an amazing 9 night stay here as a family of 5. It was a really clean and safe hotel, security around the place 24hrs. The room we stayed in was dated decor wise but it was spotless and suited our needs. The splash park was brilliant for the kids, the animation team done a brilliant job there were games for all ages throughout the day. Breakfast was really good, a great selection to choose from, the kids loved the days there were pancakes or waffles. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families.

We have just returned from another great family all inclusive holiday at Aparthotel Costa Encantada. We are delighted to find that the standards all around there have been sustained and we had a fantastic time. ||This hotel continues to cater for young families really well.|Please read my last year's review. The ones that stood out include:|High presence and visibility of lifeguards around the pool area. It looked like four alert and responsive lifeguards were on duty and it was really reassuring.||Buffer provision additions such as, Self serve gelato scooping ice-cream, Assorted Jams on pump in buffet, fresh bread, and an even bigger pastry station.||Unfortunately there were a few evenings after dinner with just one bar person serving in the main bar. He was very professional and hard working, however he could not resolve the annoyingly long waiting times on his own. But this did not affect the overall great holiday experience, and we still all loved it.| |What can I say, a really nice family holiday, four star by rate, four star by nature.

Fabulous family orientated hotel in the Costa Brava. First time here and we will return. So many facilities in the hotel. Our children; 5 and 8 were so well catered for between the mini-club, the pool-side activities and the evening entertainment. Pool area closed until 9am so never any rush for sun-beds and even then there was always some available. Hotel felt very safe. Security staff always visible and lifeguards vigilant at the pools. Great location for seeing the area of Lloret de Mar but without the craziness of being in the middle of the town. Took the local bus to Tossa de Mar one day and would highly recommend as a day trip. Thanks so much for a super holiday!

On holiday with family including 4 children. I can't fault this hotel for a family holiday. The pools (including a small water park), the food, the service, all excellent. Not on the beach but not too far away. Lots of sunbeds and a poolside cafe serving food and drinks. Pillows a bit hard but no-one else in the party of 10 complained, only me.

A great family hotel. Pools were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was exactly as you’d expect for all inclusive all very hot and fresh plenty of selection aswell. We stayed in one of the newer rooms and they were stunning so clean and modern! Only a 10 min walk to beach. Kids disco in the evening, arcades on sight. The only slight confusion is with the drinks you can only get certain drinks in all inclusive and the pool bar service was a little slow but we figured out if you went into the bar it was quicker. No pool snacks included bur we just went into the hotel for lunch. Fab hotel would definitely recommend for families.

Good breakfast and a nice pool and the rooms are good.................................................................
