Costa Encantada Suites & Resort

We were on holiday with friends and their three children under ten. We were welcomed by friendly and efficient reception staff who allocated us rooms 310 and 312. These were recently refurbished one bedroom apartments and they were superb. Plenty of wardrobe space and large walk in shower.Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our room lady Bibkum was excellent and helped to make our stay enjoyable. Pools and facilities excellent for the girls as well as the children's club with face painting and other things offered. Dining room was a bit hectic at breakfast during peak times but the offering and quality could not be criticised and the food station for fried eggs, omelets etc excellent too. Food was continually topped up and the staff on duty were great. Although we only dined in once at night once again the food was good. However the house wine at 14 euros was not at all and I could not understand why a hotel of such quality could not offer something better. All round good value for money with guests from across Europe especially 🇫🇷 France. Throughout our week we sought advice from reception who were always there to help with a smile and a friendly face.|Although the hotel location is not far from Fenals beach which incidently is nicer than Lloret de Mare beach it is up an incline so not best ideal for those less able if you want to explore the surrounding area. Lots of good walking stretches of promenade both at LDM and Fenals beaches and some good restaurants like Xaloc and Fenals International. WiFi very good too.

Family of 4 stayed here for 8 nights at the end of September. The hotel was quieter as out of season which was nice. Hotel itself is a little outdated, however it is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and lovely,we had a suite and to our surprise there was an extra bedroom. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed daily as well. The food is absolutely beautiful, loads of choices and very delicious, my compliments to the kitchen staff. Not all staff have great English, however they were all nice. Well done to the animation team who work so hard and truly deficate themselves. My 4 year old had so much fun at the mini disco,her favorite part. There is loads of slides for younger and older kids, which are absolutely great. Huge pool with loads of sun lounges, and the pool bar was very handy as well. The hotel is about 10 mins walk to the beach and main part of the city, very convenient. We had such a great time, thanks to everyone at Costa Encantada! ❤️

Fantastic experience. Family friendly hotel. First time travelling with my four children as a single mum. The resort was perfect for families. My kids played in the indoor and outdoor pools all day long and although disco was around 8pm, they were too tired to take part. Breakfast was a fantastic mix of sweet, savoury and fruits. I could’ve upgraded to fully inclusive, but I had already stocked on ready meals. The self catering set up was great. There was an oven, microwave, kettle and fridge, cutlery etc. There was a spa on site but I didn’t get a chance to use. But I saw people leaving looking happy. The resort was clean, staff very friendly and always happy to help. The resort smelt wonderful. It was beautifully situated 10 minutes from the beach and 3 minutes from supermarket. Would definitely recommend.

Family holiday in October half term, all inclusive. We had a great time and would certainly consider returning. The food was varied and quality was from ok to very good. Our room had comfortable beds/sofa beds for everyone. Bar service was generally good, a little slow just before dinner. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. Location is about 15 mins walk outside of the main town so a little quieter, which we preferred.

Superb hotel with great staff! Spent 7 days here and was very impressed. Pool is cold in October as thought. But great splash park! Well worth it. Kids club is amazing, all day long, with numerous activities. All in all a fantastic hotel.

We visited this hotel for the first time and also first time to this part of Spain.|The hotel staff are friendly and we were shown our hotel room which was lovely and clean.|The dining staff work hard as its so busy in the restaurant at evening tome. Lots to chose from. My daughter is coeliac gluten free and she was catered for.|We went half board.|I have a 16 year old, 13 year old and 7 year old. |My 7 year old absolutely loved the pool and all the animation games.|They all enjoyed watching the mini disco and the shows on an evening were good. |The walk into town is not far, lots of shops and restaurants on the se front. |The hotel is lovely and if you are due to come have a fabulous time.

We are a family of five, just back from our fourth consecutive visit to Costa Encantada. We don’t normally write reviews, but after seeing some of the more negative comments recently, we felt compelled to share our own experience. Over the past four years, we have consistently found the Costa Encantada to be a beautiful, clean and very friendly family hotel. The All Inclusive package works brilliantly for us, especially with three children who love being able to help themselves to hot snacks, ice creams and drinks (such as milkshakes and ice slushies) throughout the day. The food is excellent – fresh, varied and something for everyone. Highlights for us this week included: - Freshly made omelettes at breakfast daily (we love “omelette man!”) - BBQ pork ribs at Monday lunch - Steak and onion rings at Monday dinner - Fresh pizza daily The hotel is also in a great location: only 20 minutes by private transfer from Girona airport, a 10-minute stroll to Fenals beach and local shops and around 20 minutes to the centre of Lloret de Mar with its main beach and attractions. The staff are consistently professional, approachable and polite and the rooms are kept spotless with daily cleaning. Over the years, we’ve stayed in all three blocks and would happily return to any of them. This year we tried one of the new suites and really enjoyed the modern feel, though we did miss waking up to a pool view and sunrise. We look forward to seeing the other blocks renovated to the same standard as the suites. The facilities are also a huge plus: our children love the outdoor pool and splash area. There’s also a spa, sports courts and plenty of space to relax, which makes it easy for all ages to enjoy themselves. A couple of small suggestions we’d love to see in the future: Marmalade at breakfast (missing for the first time this year). Burger buns from the poolside buffet bar also made available upstairs when burgers are on the menu. Overall, though, these are very minor points in what continues to be a fantastic family holiday destination. Costa Encantada offers everything you could hope for – great food, brilliant facilities, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ve already stayed four times and we’re sure this won’t be our last – it’s the kind of place you come back to again and again!

Hotel location, great; sits back from hustle n bustle of town.|One bed apt very spacious; two single beds in the bedroom; large living area with two extra single beds, sofa and table with two chairs.|Plenty of wardrobe space, tea n coffee and safe.|Large bathroom with shower tray.|All inclusive food...superb 👌; cannot fault. Breakfast and dinner, a great selection including fresh salad.|A good selection of cheeses, and bread, and hot food if wanted....all very tasty 😋, and not forgetting the desserts, oh my, I've put on many pounds 🫣. Something different every night.|Snack bar great too, plenty to choose from and good selection for kids.|My 82 year old dad came with us and who is a fussy eater, especially abroad....so for him to eat morning, noon and night, says a lot about the buffet food; he was having on average 4 desserts every evening after his dinner 😁.|All inclusive alcohol not so good, but childrens drinks, plentiful. |Staff friendly and very helpful, particularly Gail on reception.|Only downside, no entertainment for adults, and children's entertainment starting late, at 9:30pm.....maybe time of year!|The pool area was fab, at least 4 pools and on the far side, a pirate area for kids.||Closest beach (Fenals) a 5 min walk from the hotel, a small beach but lovely.|Loret Beach (main) at least 15 min stroll but very much worth the walk; beach is great, boat trips, jet ski's, paragliding...all fun to watch!|Plenty of shopping to be had; however, stopped for food and drink at the Piccadilly, and treated ourselves to a 1 liter Pina Colado (being on holiday, great excuse 😜)....but, disappointed as did not taste any alcohol n drink cost 12 euros each (got ripped off!)|All in all though, a great holiday destination if on a budget.

Good breakfast and a nice pool and the rooms are good.................................................................
