We had an amazing 9 night stay here as a family of 5. It was a really clean and safe hotel, security around the place 24hrs. The room we stayed in was dated decor wise but it was spotless and suited our needs. The splash park was brilliant for the kids, the animation team done a brilliant job there were games for all ages throughout the day. Breakfast was really good, a great selection to choose from, the kids loved the days there were pancakes or waffles. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families.

We stayed in an older room with kitchenette, sleeping on the make-shift single beds isn’t perfect as we lost use of the kitchen& diner due to clothes & multiple toiletries everywhere. Not enough storage/hanging space… one cupboard was a waste as it didn’t have a clothes rail. Sliding doors in the bedroom kept getting stuck! Towel change every day! Poolside could have done with a proper clean every night as cigarette nubs & hair often found the next morning around the sun beds, though bins were emptied often throughout the day. Pool bottom was gritty… never saw it being cleaned. Miserable staff in poolside bar & all-inclusive room. More entertainment for the adults needed though lots for young kids. Terrible food choices most lunches & evenings, cold food & sauces that didn’t go with the offerings… pork steaks three nights on the trot & lots of shellfish!! No spoons on the tables so had to hunt for them every day!! Dirty wineglasses at every meal… we used the plastic ones or ordinary glasses taken from near the juice machines. Great breakfast choices… breads, pastries, yogurts, eggs, etc. Didn’t know there was a free shuttle to the swim park until I got home & read comments from other guests on FB!! Don’t get me wrong we enjoyed our holiday in the main, but don’t go without kids! It’s not 4*… more 3.5*… kids loved it (10 & 13 yrs)

We’ve just arrived back from a brilliant week at Costa Encantada.||We are a family of 5, 3 children ages 10, 7 & 2. We’ve done various holidays over the years and I can honestly say that this place is so convenient and easy for young families. We struggle to find rooms to comfortably fit the 5 of us so we booked based on the rooms alone, however this definitely isn't the only reason to visit Costa Encantada. We had one of the newer rooms and they are decorated to such a lovely standard. The beds were comfortable (i’m hard to please when it comes to hotel beds) and the air con worked perfectly. There was a safe in the room too free to use. Also microwave etc. we hired an iron for £20 deposit. ||The pools are the selling point for us at this hotel, they truly are fantastic I could let my children play with ease knowing the lifeguards were on form and none of the pools were overly deep. My youngest & middle loved the kids pool the slides are brilliant for younger ones, i usually find hotels cater slides etc to either babies or older children and not much for the inbetween. My eldest enjoyed the bigger pool (pool games etc at certain times which we enjoyed watching but didn't participate in) it was no hassle to get a sunbed - there are plenty! Even in a busy week in July there was always space and because of the layout of the pools I didn’t feel any of the loungers were in undesirable areas. We managed to get the same spot all week with no problems. Ive seen people complain about how busy the pools were, we didn't notice it was overly busy but it is mid summer so it’s to be expected? It was easy to keep eyes on my 3 children at all times. ||We went with 3 other families and our children did enjoy the kids club from time to time. We sat close by the kids club and they happily came and went when they wanted to join in with the activities (lots to do there was something every hour wether it be a craft or a game) the staff in kids club were lovely and the kids enjoyed celebrating the mascot “sharky’s” birthday! ||The food was ample, plenty of choice, breakfast was my favourite. Mostly had yoghurt, granola/fruit/seeds, and plenty choccy croissants - yum! sometimes sourdough & eggs. The children enjoyed the pancakes & nutella, lots of pastry options, cereal& cold meats. My husband had a cooked breakfast most days! We mostly ate in the snackbar at lunch for convenience with the children being at the pool but I did enjoy lunch in the restaurant a few times and there was plenty of choice. Evening meal was a bit samey some nights but I feel like thats a given for an all inclusive - catering to so many people. We couldn't fault the food and would say if you cant find something you like you must be very fussy. ||The staff are friendly and welcoming, nothing was a problem & the cleaning staff were thorough . One day we didnt have our room cleaned or fresh towels. My husband and son were in the room most of the afternoon napping that day so maybe thats why? ||All in all we had a wonderful time, dont hesitate to book this hotel. 🩷

A great family hotel. Pools were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was exactly as you’d expect for all inclusive all very hot and fresh plenty of selection aswell. We stayed in one of the newer rooms and they were stunning so clean and modern! Only a 10 min walk to beach. Kids disco in the evening, arcades on sight. The only slight confusion is with the drinks you can only get certain drinks in all inclusive and the pool bar service was a little slow but we figured out if you went into the bar it was quicker. No pool snacks included bur we just went into the hotel for lunch. Fab hotel would definitely recommend for families.

We’ve just returned from our week stay at Costa Encantada, we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite(the refurbished part) in the reception block. |Upon arriving, the reception staff were friendly whilst checking in, gave us a map, wristbands etc, told us our room was ready(it was maybe 11am, so nice and early).|Our room was clean and tidy, had a kettle, a hairdryer in the bathroom, plenty of towels and soaps available. Super quiet, we were facing the campsite at the back and couldn’t hear much from them at all, absolutely nothing with the balcony doors shut. A drying rail was fixed to the wall on the balcony which was helpful. Also had a travel cot with a proper mattress for our baby. |Some areas in the hotel were dated, the all day buffet area was dark and dated, i noticed some of the toilets around the hotel a bit wobbly, but for the most part the hotel was fine. |Food was a bit disappointing, we were all inclusive but when we return we’d probably drop down to half board/bed and breakfast. Nuggets, chips and pastas available every night for the fussy kids, but we felt that there wasn’t much continuity for meals, nothing really ‘went’ together. Breakfast is probably the best meal time, the omelette station is great. Waffles and pancakes on some days, plenty of pastries available. |The pool area was great, the splash pool with the slides was the perfect height for our children to be able to go down slides and land in the water without going under(3-12 years is advised for the slides), plenty of lifeguards dotted around, lots of sunloungers and umbrellas. The only bit we didn’t like was that we couldn’t see the splash pool from the loungers, so couldn’t let our children go off without one of us following them, would have been nice to have a lounge whilst they could play. But it was fine and i sent my partner with them most the time haha. The floor does get really hot, so swim shoes are definitely needed for the little ones!|My son had an accident involving a heavy metal mirror coming off of the wall and landing on his ankle/foot, this was dealt with quickly between the hotel and Jet2, massive apologies from the hotel and reassurance that they’ll check other mirrors in the rooms. |Gail on reception was super helpful, as were the other members(Gail sourced us some extra teabags as we were thirsty Brits haha). If you happen to book with Jet2, Clare the Jet2 rep is absolutely incredible! |Entertainment was okay, slightly samey some nights, but fine, the animation team seemed friendly and Sergey(hopefully spelt right) was always being chased by the kids and playing, and our 3 year old decided he was a “super funny man”|we’ll definitely be back, a nice hotel for a weeks family holiday☺️

We stayed at this hotel for three nights, drawn in by the photos and positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected.||The biggest disappointment was the food. It lacked taste, variety, and freshness. It was clear that some of the dishes were being reused from previous buffets. Shockingly, even basic items like soft drinks and water were not included with dinner. To make matters worse, when my friend tried to get a coffee from the machine after dinner, a waitress rushed over to stop him, saying it wasn’t allowed.||The restaurant staff were generally rude and unhelpful, which made the dining experience even more unpleasant. Room service was also poor — coffee cups were left unwashed for days. We had a blocked sink in the bathroom and had to go to reception in person to request a repair.||Other issues included unexpected charges: parking wasn’t free, despite the hotel being a supposed 4-star establishment with higher prices than similar hotels in the area. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel sits on a hill, making access to the beach inconvenient. Swimming towels could only be exchanged for €10 each — and only cash was accepted.||Overall, our stay was very disappointing. The hotel does not live up to its star rating or the price charged. We would not recommend it and hope management takes action to address these issues

An amazing hotel with all the amenities you could want in a perfect location and staff that cannot do enough for you. Many reviews have mixed opinions on the food which did concern us before arriving but everything was delicious and there was plenty of choice for everyone, our party included a fussy teen, vegetarian and a gluten free member and we were always happy with what was on offer. Sun beds were never an issue at any time of days and the pool area was cleaned daily. Lifeguards are on the ball constantly and the pool entertainment team were amazing really getting kids involved in team games and dancing eve afternoon. We had a fantastic week and wouldn't hesitate to return!

TL:DR: Good hotel specially for families! What you see is what you get. I highly recommend it! Like everywhere there are small things that could be better but in general everything is what can be expected. Nice rooms, nice pool, cool water slides, huge buffet, fun animation for kids and young(ish) adults and super nice service. At one point we had a misunderstanding regarding the terms of our stay and were very accommodating. I highly recommend it.
