Aparthotel Oberża (Krakow, Poland) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"This delightful former tenement house sits in the heart of Kazimierz. An impressive staircase leads up to individually styled bedrooms which follow themes such as ‘Art Deco’ and ‘Boutique’; top floor ‘Crystal’ is popular." - Tablet Hotels

Gorgeous little hotel. Very cute. Decor is very vintage/royal style which is what attracted me to book. ||To start with, check in is only 3pm-6pm. We arrived at around 10pm but hotel had contacted us prior to send us a link to an app for a Bluetooth check in. Simple enough. ||There isn’t a lift that we noticed, so bear this in mind. We were on the first floor so wasn’t really an issue. Our room was lovely. Simple but elegant. Big enough bed, working tv and air con. Good water pressure in the shower and big mirror over sink. Only issue we had with the room was the pillows are very thin, and you have 1 each. There was also only 1 plug socket we could find, meaning we had to take turns charging our phones which wasn’t ideal, but other than them 2 issues, room was perfect for us. ||Location: |The hotel itself had a Michelin star restaurant inside it, which we could absolutely lovely and decent priced considering. It also had 3 seat areas, some downstairs, some in hotel, some in a conservatory next door. The hotel is about 20 mins walk to the main square, we never needed transport to the square :)||Noise: we didn’t actually experience any loud noises from the street so couldn’t complain. ||Staff:|Staff were lovely, always greeted us when we saw them and made sure to help us when needed. Didn’t fly home til 9pm. It had to check out early than midday so staff stored our luggage for us. ||Extra: there was also a lovely balcony on the first floor with 3 tables, overlooking greenery and the restaurant conservatory below. This was a lovely little balcony also sheltered. Only went on there once but got proposed to on there and it was beautiful!!!||Overall I’d definitely recommend oberza. For the price you pay I’d say it’s worth it :)|Thank you for a lovely stay Aparthotel Oberza

The hotel and the rooms are spotless. The staff is pleasant especially a girl serving the breakfast. The room was a bit disappointing as we didn’t even get Juliet’s balcony just a window that is hard to open. You get a card for the shared balcony but it’s a bit pointless if it isn’t next to your room. The hotel is in a brilliant location and that was the main reason for choosing it.

The setting for this hotel is good as it is right in the midst of the Old Jewish Quarter so full of history and atmospheric buildings. the building itself is very old with an amazing squared staircase (no lift so had to carry cases upstairs) over all three floors. The reception staff were very helpful. Our room was very small and looked nothing like the picture shown against this listing but it was atmospheric and clean. The restaurant downstairs is a separate entity to the hotel but can be accessed via the hotel and serves a good range of traditional Polish foods.

We are enjoying our stay so much we are leaving a review early! The room is charming and location could not be more perfect. The complementary breakfast is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The location is amazing. The hotel is old but taken care of good. Breakfast is not self-service. You need to select from the menu and wait. They can customize somewhat as you wished. There is no 24/7 reception if you will delay to check in, then you should get in touch with the hotel. I had carried my heavy luggage through stairs and did not like that part. Totally depends on your expectations for me room and service was normal but nothing special. No hitel parking, you need to find a paid steer parking place. Yet, once again, the hotel location is very good since it is a 15-minute walk to the old town, and it is nearby of the nightlife of Krakow.

Decent enough hotel however the room we stayed in could do with a few additions such as a wall mirror, coat hooks and a bin. The TV was also hard to work however as we werent in the room much this wasnt an issue. The furniture was also kind of falling apart in places. The location is superb with the old town with walking distance. We opted to use bolt to go further afield via taxi or scooter. The staff were friendly and helpful and although interactions were minimal, I found them to be approachable which we appreciated. The room we had was located on an internal balcony overlooking a restaurant courtyard so at times noise levels were high. Fortunately this seemed to end around 10pm and we were able to get to sleep. Overall, it was a decent stay. Location and staff made the downsides of the room worth it.

This is a very comfortable, well-appointed and welcoming hotel. It is ideally located for a city break in Krakow; there are plenty of affordable hostelries nearby, with places of interest within walking distance or a short taxi ride away.

Paulina greeted us with a smile, served us in the mornings, and made our visit very comfortable. Rooms are very clean and kept extremely well. The decor of the hotel is amazing. Would recommend for a great stay, only 15 minutes walk from the city centre.
