Aparthotel Vila Minka

I highly recommend Vila Minka when traveling to Slovenia. The owner and her daughter are very sophisticated and treated us so well that we truly felt at home. It is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, only 10 minutes away from downtown by car, and has a bus stop with direct routes to downtown.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 days.Spotless place,tastefully done and the warmest of hosts. We were welcomed by the ever smiling Nina who patiently told us about the things to do,spots to see, and how to get around.She even went the extra mile to get us dinner on our first night while we struggled to order in.Before leaving we had the pleasure of meeting Nina's Mother and Sister ,Barbara, who were as warm and forthcoming. 5 star stay at a 5 star location. Highly recommend!

The first thing that gave such a positve impression was the owner, she gave us a war, welcome with a nice drink and told us to relax after a long trip. At first I booked (what I thought) was a full apartment. This was not the case and we could get another room/apartment for just a little bit more money. The hotel was clean and very quiet. The room was also very clean and everything you need can be found there. I arranged my own breakfast but if you want you can also get breakfast for 9 Euros per person. In the morning during check-out another lady helped with the paperwork and was also very friendly and charming. Both ladies gave me the best impression of how nice Slovanian people are. Whenever I travel through Slovenia, I will stay here for the night. I rate this place with 5 stars!

Clean, elegant and well equipped flat, very comfortable and modern. The hotel has a beautiful hall. The area is nice although a bit far from the centre and has no restaurants. Parking available.

Really nice hotel/apartment with very friendly owner. We were welcomed with a nice drink and since we needed an apartment this could be arranged easily. The place was nice quiet and very clean. When I left another lady arranged the paperwork, she was also very friendly and charming. This gives a foreigner a really good impression of how nice Slovenian people are. I recommend this place with 5 stars!

Finding the perfect accommodation is a rarity but this excellent apartment/hotel was one. Having received a warm welcome and a very helpful briefing on travel and other facilities we were shown to our rooms. Everything was as new, beautifully furnished and with everything one could need. One can take a bus from a nearby stop into the city (saves parking issues) and one can be on the motorway in either direction in minutes. It is a quite area but one can find a friendly bar - the Asan Bar, a pizza place and a very friendly al fresco eating house within easy walking distance.||We would strongly recommend Vila Minka.

It has been a very nice stay. Hotel is in a quiet area few km drive from the city center. I was there with my car and they have allowed me to park in thei parking place. The hosts, Mrs. Minka and her daugther, are extremely nice and professionals; we had a very pleasent communication. The room was very clean and comfortable.||Should i stop once more there i will choose Vila Minka once more.

We only stayed at Vila Minka for 1 night in May 2016 on our way to Italy. Beautiful hotel/residence on the fringes of Ljubljana. We were upgraded to a lovely apartment - very large living room/kitchen, luxurious bathroom, very comfortable bedroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Very peaceful/relaxing atmosphere. A quick drive or cab-ride into the center of the city. We would stay here again.
