Aparthotel Vila Minka

Great place in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the bus and center of Lubliana. Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable with beautiful patio. The staff is absolutely amazing, nice, friendly and really dedicated to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We were even greeted with delicious cheesecake made by the owner! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

I think that the lady running the reception needs some basic people skill training. The description is not entirely correct. There is no room service, for example. You need to call for somebody to come to the reception. The lady is not very hospitable and she talks over you when you talk to her. I think it's way overpriced as it's located far from the city center, and the equipment seems outdated. Single room was super small, and the bed was very uncomfortable.Also, you can't pay by card, and judging from comments this has been the case for a long time now. So you're expected to carry cash or search for an ATM. I wouldn't recommend this place. You can get a much nicer proper hotel for the same or lower price.

I loved staying here!! The host stayed up late for our arrival (we told them our flight would be delayed). They were very responsive via trip.com’s chat function/email. The room and hotel is beautiful - every detail is thoughtfully considered, very clean and sparkly. You can tell the owners and staff love their job when you stay here. Would stay here again anytime!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Minka! The hotel itself was fantastic — everything was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. A special mention goes to the lovely receptionist — she was absolutely amazing! So friendly, welcoming, and helpful, she really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless and very cozy. Everything about our stay was just perfect. Highly recommended!

There is no air conditioning and the heat is extremely intense. I couldn’t sleep. When I opened the window, insects from the nearby forest came in heavily. There were no coffee capsules in the room, and there was no elevator. I was not happy and did not feel comfortable during my stay there

After I stayed in this motel two days ago and expressed my personal and honest impression, the owner of the motel called me last night on my private number and started threatening me. I immediately disconnected and informed booking.com, who promised to take measures, as well as the cantonal police office here in Switzerland. I don't think it's right for her to call her customers and upset them. This only proves that she is a very unpleasant person who cannot stand criticism. I did not want this to escalate, but I will always defend the peace of my family and my dignity. I also took photos of the room upon my departure in real time so that the owner in question could not cause me any problems. I think this is a very dangerous person. P.S. I highly recommend Vila Minka when traveling to Slovenia. The owner and her daughter are very sophisticated and treated us so well that we truly felt at home. It is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, only 10 minutes away from downtown by car, and has a bus stop with direct routes to downtown.

Great service, really friendly and welcoming staff, clean and comfy rooms, you can't ask for anything else
