Even though we stayed for a long weekend we decided to stay here. You feel like you are living in Leipzig since it is not a hotel room. The apartment was spacious, kitchen was a real one. You can really cook. Dishwasher, refrigerator, pan, plates, knifes, coffee machine, kettle, microwave etc is available. A starter kit is provided. So if you arrive late you can have a cup of tea/ coffee and a little toblerone chocolate. A bottle of water was provided as well. The only thing we missed was a sponge and salt. Downstairs only a couple of steps and you are in a organic market where you can buy everything you need (vegetables, fruit, cheese, ham, honey, coffee, snacks etc) . They have also a bakery which is open on Saturdays as well. It was very convenient. If you don’t feel like cooking you can go to Macis the restaurant downstairs which is running the organic market. The restaurant has also room service. You can find further information here: http://www.macis-leipzig.de/ ||||In the room you can find information about restaurants, markets etc.||||Bathroom was clean and fine. The hairdryer was of good quality (in some places you regret washing your hair since it takes ages to dry them, fortunately this was not the case in this apartment). Wifi connection was perfect. Bed was comfortable and it was very quiet in the night which was great. ||||If you arrive later than 6 pm, make sure to call the reception in advance to get the codes to enter the building and your room. Once you enter the code and get in you see a nice old elevator. The real one is on the left side, so if you have heavy luggage don’t worry you don’t have to climb all the stairs only a few steps until the elevator. The reception is on the first floor. Go in and you will see a box where have to use your second code. A lid will open and you can get your room keys. Once you have your room keys you don’t need to enter the building code anymore. Just hold your keys on the sensor the building door opens. ||||The markt place and Thomas Church are nearby. We came with the S-bahn from the airport with backpacks and it was an easy walk.
