I stopped here for two nights on work visiting from the UK. It was a last ditched booking as everywhere else in the area was full.||The apartment was well places for walking distance to the city center with both buses and the tram being right outside. The apartment was very clean and tidy, well kept and decorated with a modern clean bathroom shower. ||It was well serviced with breakfast being an option as well as cleaned daily with clean sheets and towels (note, menu could have been in English as well?)||The lower level of the building entrance was clean and tidy with a seating area and reseption. Its very important to note that after 11:30am the desk is unmanned so if arriving late call in advance and you will be given a keycode to retrieve your room key and instructions to your room number.||Overall well priced, well placed, the manager was incredibly plesent and helpful when I checked out and when I needed instructions on public transport.||||Criticism - I had to contact the hotel to get late arrival instructions, I felt this should have been given to me before having to find out on my own - This could be completely the fault of the booking site though.||Upper level corridors needed a clean and repainting as they let the building down in its overall appearance. ||||If you want a hassle free, easy time in Basel with out having to wonder though hordes of people and reception and long hotel corridors come here.
