Apartments Hasenberg

I stayed here with a friend for 5 nights. It made for a great base to explore Basel and make day trips around Switzerland and Alsace. The train station is a 10 minute easy walk and although the hotel provides a mobility card for public transportation, we never needed to use it since everything is centrally located. The room was perfect for us, we loved the coffee machine, Apple TV and wifi. The furnishings are IKEA and comfortable enough. Thoroughly enjoyed having a little patio. There is a Coop supermarket just around the corner so make your own breakfast before heading out. Fabian, our host, was always a quick email away. The building felt very secure and we had no problem meeting the person to hand us the keys for check-in. The airport bus dropped us off just up the street and took about 15-20 minutes, it's free with a hotel reservation although we were never asked to provide proof of stay. Great price if you are prepared to be self-sufficient. Highly recommend. (Note that you need Swiss converters for the outlets.)

I have stayed in Apartments Hasenberg twice in the last year, in two different one room efficiency apartments. I stayed while visiting Basel on business. The apartments are clean and pleasant, albeit somewhat simple. The kitchen area is nice, and I was able to cook my evening meals easily. The provided coffee/espresso maker is a nice bonus, and I took full advantage of that! The bathroom is small, also, but very nice. The apartments do have a laundry room in the basement, but you need to check to see what times are available to use it, as other tenants use the shared laundry room and have scheduled times for their use. There is a market nearby, within walking distance, to purchase food, and the #1 and #6 tram lines are also very close. I like having a simple and quiet place to stay, and I would definitely stay here again.

We recently spent 5 nights here and were very pleased. There were lots of amenities that we didn't even use but that was us. Our apartment was very clean when we checked in and all things were in order. The manager who let us in showed us around and gave us instruction on the use of some of the appliances. The bathroom was spotless, but a bit small...thinking that was the "European" style. The bed was quite low to the floor, but very comfortable once you got in. There was a lovely little patio, but there was too much rain to use it. The security of the building was very good. The best part was the free transportation ticket. We made great use of the tram system and were only a 2 stop ride to the central train station where there were lots of shops and restaurants. There was a grocery store just around the corner so it was very convenient for getting in staples for some meals. It was a great find and a good value for the money.

Nice clean apartment, kitchen and balcony. Good area, walking distance city center and train station. A bit noisy room as I neighbor room was moved in late. No reception, but at my arrival somebody waiting for me to handover ok, all fine. Overall I would book again and prefer it to a hotel, fully equiped kitchen allow own cooking for meal. Supermarket 3 min walk.

We stayed in the apartments for two nights and we felt like really at home. Coffee machine and the dishwasher are really a great plus. Credit card payment is supported which is also a plus for a rental apartment. The place is quiet but not isolated. Walking distance from the city center and very good transport connections. We had a great stay!

We arrived late in the evening and our check was simple and easy. Very close to tram 1 & 8 and tram 6.The apartment had everything we needed and was very quiet. We were provided with maps and activities in the region. We were even able to do some laundry. Do not expect the full services of a hotel but a great place to stay.

It is a well equiped apartment really close to the main train station and 5-10 minutes walking to the city centre. The apartment is clean, confortable and nice. I have a little problem with the fridge which was inmediately reaplace to another one, so the situation was solved. It'll definitely repeat if I come back to Basel.

Excellent location great service. Easy check in and check out. The apartment had everything we needed fully fitted kitchen with all amenities. The only problem was the towels were too hard on the skin and the sheets and pillow cases were a bit worn
