21 Best Bars in Tokyo, from Hotel Lounges to a Tequila Speakeasy | Condé Nast Traveler
"Husband-and-wife team Guillaume and Chloe Duperier launched this chic little spot as a gathering place for the natural wine community in Tokyo. The airy space, with Yves-Klein blue walls and large windows, is warmly appointed with softly glowing globe lights and ikebana floral arrangements. This is a go-to for local French chefs, visiting execs of European luxury brands and regulars from the neighborhood for organic and biodynamic wines from France and Japan. Like any wine bar worth its salt, there’s a menu of solid bar fare: meaty housemade terrine, thick-cut fries with freshly prepared mayonnaise, and a selection of French and domestic cheeses like bamboo-ash-aged cheese from Fromagerie Sen in Chiba. Weekend brunch is a delectable array of dishes made with organic ingredients from local farms, plus an option for free-flow sparkling wine for ¥10,000." - Melinda Joe
A polished wine bar housed inside a sleek low-rise building run by a friendly French team. As there are some office units on the same floor, it is funny to walk past the hardworking “salarymen” when you are about to have an apéro. Apéro has a wide selection of natural wines from different regions of France and beyond. It is a good place to try lesser-known grape varietals. The real surprise is the food, as it is not the typical bar food. Expect great flavours and thoughtful presentation without over-the-top plating. I also love how they champion local producers and seasonal ingredients, even the cheese is sourced in Japan. Who would have thought French-styled cheese could be produced in Hiroshima! Fabulous food and wonderful wine make this the perfect dinner spot in the area. I need to come more often!

Intimate small restaurant with a small food menu of a farm-to-table concept, and great options for wine. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Came after work to this little French place, a «Bienvenue en France » board welcome you at the entrance! A bit hard to find first but what a pleasure once you did. Great selection of wines, most of them are French of course. We took the charcuterie plate + cheese & hummus. Vegetables are organic and so delicious! A good place to end up after work and relax.

This place is nothing like your typical Tokyo wine bar. Incredibly friendly English speaking staff, meticulously sourced wine and cheese menus, and some chilled out music. What more could you ask for.

Offers strong, but heavily edited and rotating French wine list (on iPad menus) and boards of charcuterie in a cool building with stylish, open interior space. A bar and 4-5 tables that seat small groups. Great place for a date, to talk business or to talk $h!t with the homie. No smoking. French, English-speaking staff (Japanese Ok).
