The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, just steps away from the Grassmarket, Edinburgh Castle, and many charming cafes, shops, and historic sites. It made exploring the city on foot incredibly easy and enjoyable. The service was impeccable. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and well-furnished with modern amenities. Overall, a comfortable and welcoming stay in a prime location with outstanding service. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and modern. Very comfortable beds, as well. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking was ample and close (though not free!). The breakfast was excellent every day. The hotel is walking distance from everything you go to Edinburgh to see. Our Castle View room had an amazing view of the castle.

I had a fantastic stay at the Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The view from the window was lovely, giving us a picturesque glimpse of the heart of Edinburgh. Everything—from the amenities to the lighting—was thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The location couldn’t be better! Right in the heart of the city, we were within walking distance of the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and many great restaurants and cafes. It made exploring the city so convenient. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was quiet and calming—ideal for a restful night’s sleep after a full day of sightseeing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Edinburgh! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Rooms are nice, but no air conditioning in some rooms. Cooling down in shorts and a sleeveless top when it's 60°F/15°C outside. They will bring a small fan if you ask. The room also has a tilt out window. I hope they consider fixing the ac in the rooms that need it sometimes. The breakfast is very good and the staff are all very polite and friendly. I would stay here again. The location is great for sightseeing and shopping.

It was a great hotel. Location was perfect. Price was good. We stayed last year on a different hotel with the same price but i was a disaster. I wish we stayed in this hotel last year. Breakfast was more than enough. You can skip lunch. Hotel was clean and the stuff were friendly.
