Awesome location, facilities were clean and modern. Pretty quiet although it was a Tuesday. Even in the far back spots it’s a quick walk across the road to the river and really beautiful. Staff were very helpful for organising our late check in, would recommend!!

This park has new amenities and camp kitchen which both very well maintained. The park has recovered well after the floods. The sites are a good size and easy to access. The staff are very friendly and the BBQ areas are clean and tidy. A nice place for a relaxing holiday.

Fantastic spot, including a great beach on the river bend for a dip, We had a 3 bedroom cabin and it seemed brand new. Extremely well maintained with everything we could have needed, and a great front verandah for meals or an end of day drink.

Lovely location on the river with a little inland sandbar beach with lifeguards and flags in summer. After the recent flooding, management are working hard to get the lawns greened up again. Good size powered sites. The park is lovely and spacious, with beautiful facilities. Great undercover large area camp kitchen with large tv and BA fans. Managment are easy to talk to if you have a concern. Honest and trustworthy. Lovely foot/bike track to the homestead, Rio vista and markets. Nature abundant. Boat ramp also close by. Thanks for a good stay.

Courteous, helpful, they care. Right on the river front with a sandy beach you can plonk yourself on and watch the river go by. The grounds are expansive - like camping in a national park but with amenities. I'm here in the non-busy season so don't know how crowded it might get. Just me .... and a couple of kangaroos

Came up for the long weekend and had a cabin opposite the river and it’s been nothing short of excellent! Kids woke up and took themselves fishing every morning and we did bbq breakfasts right on the river nearly every morning! Kangaroos everywhere - love it!

Stayed at this park for a week. Staff seemed friendly, booked online in advance giving length of our 9.5 metre caravan etc. was allocated a 10 metre site with loose dirt all around, went to the office and stated we could not get onto site due to obstacles and was given 2 equally sized sites that were difficult to get into, only big enough (just) for our caravan, no room to pull out awning and needing to park or vehicle half on the road out the front, causing issues for other vans and vehicles coming and going. For the amount charged, a grass site big enough to have an awning and somewhere suitable to park your car would be great. Sadly we won’t be back. |We realise that this park is recovering from the recent flood, however jamming everyone onto dirt small sites on top of each other doesn’t cut it.

I enjoyed 14 days at this park. Brand new shower / toilet block (post flood), amazing hot water pressure in the showers! Like most pointed out below, the sites are very narrow - JUST enough space to pull the awning out! Otherwise, it's a beautiful caravan park in a wonderful location. 45 min walk to town on the walking tracks along the river.
