Apex RiverBeach Holiday Park

Great spot directly opposite the beach. It is also directly opposite a walking/cycling trail which takes you into town..... it's a really nice trail. Facilities were spotless. Our sites which were directly opposite and facing the beach where a good size but we noticed the rest of the park was a bit squishy for my liking. I haven't given 5 stars because the park needs some fine tuning which I believe they are in the process of doing. Staff were really nice which doesn't surprise me after meeting the owner who was really friendly.

Located in a very quiet area, so no passing traffic was awesome. Very helpful staff, clean amenities and grounds. The only disappointment was how tight the caravan spots were. If we rolled out our awning, it would've touched the next van. Worthy of a 5 star rating, but the tight spaces dragged it back a star.

Lovely 3 nights here on a river view site July 2025 - spacious sites, modern amenities (great hot showers!), friendly and helpful staff. Fire pit hire $5 for the duration of our stay and firewood available to purchase. Unbeatable location on the Murray river, can’t wait to get back!

Visited in June 2025. We camped in our van here for 7 nights. Beautiful setting, fantastic beach. Great clean ammenities. Hire fire pit for your stay for $5 total. Fantastic walks all along the Murray. Highly recommend.

Great park, pet friendly. Close to river. Quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to town. Amenities were clean. Camp kitchen excellent. Overall had a great 2 night stay

What a great Caravan Park. We pulled in on a Thursday afternoon greeted by a lovely girl at receptionist. Got a site down the back with water. Great value. Beautiful park in a great location. Fantastic amenities. Will definitely be back

Good location, new & clean facilities, however most sites are too small, you'll feel like sardines during peak season. Check out time is 10 am! I can understand early check out in hotels to prepare the rooms, but in a CP? It's not like they're preparing or cleaning anything. We found out the hard way, when we got a call from a certain "Karen" after 10am, on our departure day, urging us to leave, while 2/3 of the park was empty anyway. Good customer service hey?

the location is amazing - right next to the river. Not too far to walk or ride your push bike back to town - taking in the scenic views along the way|facilities are clean and tidy (we had a powered site)|the staff member that checked us in was a delight - very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her
