If there was an option to rate below zero, this experience would definitely qualify. I went to this clinic early in the morning because my own doctor wasn’t available on a Sunday. The front desk clearly told me that, although I’m not a family patient at this clinic, the walk-in doctor would be seeing patients starting at 1 pm. I planned my entire day around this and stayed nearby instead of going to other clinics. Just one hour before, I received a call saying the doctor had refused to see walk-in patients that day. This was extremely frustrating because if I had been informed earlier, I could have gone to another clinic and gotten the care I needed. The doctor’s availability should be confirmed with the front desk so patients are not misled or left waiting unnecessarily. The clinic needs to improve the communication between the front desk and physicians, because it wasted my entire day and kept me from seeing a doctor anywhere else.
