Aphrodite Beach Hotel

Another super visit to our favourite place, we have been visiting the hotel for ten years so the “Welcome Home” sign as you approach the reception, seems very apt indeed! It has been the hottest year ever in Cyprus (according to the internet) and there was certainly evidence of this around the island but the staff at Aphrodite Beach have clearly worked very hard to keep the gardens and orchard going. It was fig time this month and I really enjoyed them with breakfast, breakfast is always a highlight of this hotel, there is so much to choose from, including a cooked option. We ate in most evenings as I really enjoy the lovely buffet, especially the traditional Cypriot dishes like stifado and kleftiko. ||||The various pets (well behaved) give a homely feel, I really enjoyed a drink after dinner, sitting on one of the sofas in the lounge with a cat by my side. This is certainly the place to get away from it all and relax. Looking out at the pouring rain, I wish I were back there now. We are planning a return visit in May next year, each month is different. We always hire a car and May is a lovely month for walking and seeing some beautiful flowers before the temperatures get too hot. We visited at the beginning of September this time and the sea was a beautiful blue and extremely warm. It is so nice to visit a beach with no seaweed or litter. The beach is incredibly clean and there is a certificate on the reception wall stating how important it is to keep the sea plastic free. Is this place for you? I hope so, it is most definitely the place for me!

Incredible accommodation for less than 100 euros. Breakfast included. Super clean room and beach, complete sea view from our room/porch, private beach access, and the people working are so kind. Totally renovated and modern, inside and out. 10/10 recommend. My wife and I are from America but live in Israel for now - this was an amazing getaway.

I'm so glad I chose to stay here - The hotel is everything it says it is, and more. We arrived late and although the restaurant was closing, we were offered a meal, which was most welcome after a day of travelling. The staff were always polite and friendly, our room was spacious and provided everything we needed. The view from our balcony was amazing, and of course the weather was warm and sunny.

We have stayed at this family run hotel for the last 18 years during which time there have been numerous changes/improvements by the owner, Gregoria, and her family. The location is spectacular being only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The peace and tranquility of the location are second to none and all parts of the hotel are spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff this year were particularly helpful and friendly and have obviously been well trained by both Gregoria and Yiannis. There was a very wide choice at breakfast, both hot and cold, with something for everyone. The hotel is obviously very popular, and we have already booked for next year.

The rooms were spotless, spacious, and perfectly maintained, offering comfort and luxury. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, on par with what you would expect from a five-star hotel – a great variety of high-quality choices that catered to every taste. The location is unbeatable, situated right next to the most beautiful beach in Cyprus with crystal-clear waters that make for a breathtaking view. Waking up to such a stunning setting was pure bliss. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Aphrodite Beach Hotel has now become our go-to destination for future holidays, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Best vacation I’ve had in years!! This beautiful family owned hotel was the perfect getaway spot for our family. The service was excellent and the owners definitely have a tasteful eye for detail to ensure that we feel at home and at rest! What I loved most: 1) Marvelling at the beautiful viewpoint of the beach from the hotels lobby balcony and more intimately from the tavern on the beach where we enjoyed seafood, coffee and watermelon to our hearts content. 2) Swimming in the clear cool waters of the gorgeous beach, the relaxing sound of the gentle waves on the pebbles and not having to clean sand off of our sandals as we walked off the beach. 3) The calm and peaceful atmosphere. Being surrounded by fellow guests and families during breakfast and by the beach, visiting the hotels chapel every morning to light a candle, and feeling like I was at a home away from home. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to have gone for a vacation. Thanks to the owners and staff for their hospitality and care. We hope to come again!

Family run Hotel, very relaxing simple. Staff are very friendly accommodating. Perfect position for easy access to beach and restaurants if you don't want to eat in Hotel. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, excellent chooses.

Amazing hotel! Rooms are clean and spacious, they have a drying rack on the balcony which is helpful after being in the beach. The beach is beautiful with an option to rent daybeds and buy ice cream and snacks, breakfast with plenty of options. The hotel is tranquil and a respite from everyday busyness. The staff is amazingly helpful and kind. I definitely recommend staying here with family and even pets.
