I always get their Blue Milk and Pistachio!! It’s so good, every single time 😋 The only downside? Dining in can get super noisy, especially if you sit on the upper floor. Honestly, sometimes I just want to finish my waffle and leave 😅 My tip: grab a cone or cup and enjoy it while strolling around, unless you don’t mind a lively, bustling vibe

Ordered the dark chocolate. It was good. Price is pretty standard for the location. Love the atmosphere but would prefer if they had some curtains or wall pads to reduce the echoing of voices which was rather loud. All in all good and will visit again.

I had the brown butter waffle with 1 scoop of passionfruit sorbet and another scoop of 73% dark chocolate ice cream for a total of $22. The waffle was pleasantly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Paired with the fantastic quality ice creams, the warm waffle - cold melty ice cream combo really hits 😋 However, do note that sampling is not allowed so you’ll have to choose your flavours based on the description / prior knowledge. Might be back someday!

Ordered butter waffles with vanilla and 70% chocolate ice cream. Waffles is fluffy and crispy with fragrant butter. Vanilla Ice cream is really nice, full with vanilla flavours without overbearing sweetness. Chocolate is rich thick and decadent, yet balanced with slight bitterness and not too sweet! Finished both of them and don't feel like I'm struggling with the sweetness despite being so rich. Sadly, I have to bump down the score due to the poor service. There are three person manning the ice cream station, but they are all serving the same person at once, and they just looked at me like I owed them something.

Ice cream was below average, same as what the other reviewers shared, there is a no tasting policy even if we are buying the ice cream. Nonetheless we got a scoop each and the flavours were sub-par, there are way better ice cream shops around the corner. ♿️ no wheelchair accessible entrance, space is quite cramped too.

Dropped by because it looked rather interesting. Decided to try their yuzu flavour ice cream and was pleasantly surprised with the refreshing flavour and the fresh taste. Got the waffles as well, it was crispy and fluffy on the inside, definitely at 10/10. Would 100% recommend and come back again!

I got a special kopi flavor and it was good! My friends all thankfully got different flavors so I got to taste more, since tastings aren’t allowed. Wish I tried more!!! Would try to come back if I find myself in Singapore again lol

Owned by Brian Lee and Travis Goh, the latter known for his bean-to-bar Chocolates, Apiary resides on the edge of Chinatown with a focus on fresh Ice Cream made with natural Ingredients plus Waffles and Tea served in a quaint space. Going so far as to pasteurize all Dairy on-site, a commitment to using no artificial flavors or preservatives taken to new levels, flavors include an eponymous scoop featuring Honey with Cocoa Nibs plus "Blue Milk" featuring Blue Pea Flower Tea plus Coconut and flecks of Salt. Spread across two stories, upstairs seating quiet with air conditioning, guests in need of a Waffle will wait perhaps ten minutes for one that is crisp yet pliable with hints of Malt that remain evident even under the slow melt of creamy Sicilian Pistachio.

We came here one evening after dinner and were amazed at how many people were getting ice cream on a Friday night. I would have thought bars would be a much more popular destination. Nevertheless, we managed to snag a table just as a group was leaving so, lucky us! We ordered a waffle with 3 scoops of ice cream to share. While I did not love the waffle, my friends did - I like my waffles crisp and light all the way through. This was a little dense and slightly undercooked in the middle which made it feel chewier and more substantial. What I really enjoyed were the ice-creams! We got Pistachio, The Apiary, and dark chocolate. They were a little on the sweet side, but what is dessert without sugar anyway? My favorite was definitely the Apiary - it had a milk base with honey and vanilla, and also honeycomb. Yum on all counts!! The pistachio was fragrant but a little too sweet for me. The dark chocolate was heaven but I'm not a huge chocolate person. I would go back to try their black and white sesame ice creams. Yum yum.

Over the course of several days in Singapore recently I was on a quest to get a hold of the best ice cream in town. After a bit of research, I narrowed my options down to: Apiary Creamier Lickety Time for a heads up review. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? All three of these spots have comparable atmospheres, with Creamier coming out on top, Apiary being a great neutral iteration of a contemporary ice cream shop, and Lickety being maybe the weakest of the three just by a smidge in that they don't accept credit cards, which was frustrating. Apiary: Star (1) Creamier: Star (1) Lickety: Star (1) Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Prices are comparable across the board at each of these shops. Apiary was the priciest at $7.50 for two smallish scoops, Lickety was $4.50 for a single scoop, and Creamier was $3.80 for a single scoop. Good pricing. Apiary: Star (2) Creamier: Star (2) Lickety: Star (2) Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? When it came to flavor and consistency, there was a clear winner here in Creamier, which had a fantastically smooth, creamy, and flavorful Salted Caramel. Lickety and Apiary were both good, but Apiary, the weakest of the three, was over frozen whereas Apiary was good but not great. Apiary: Single Star (3) Creamier: Two Stars (4) Lickety: Single Star (3) Star 5: Would you be excited to go back? Maybe surprisingly, I wouldn't be excited to come back to any of these ice cream spots, but maybe that's because I'm simply so spoiled by the stacked Los Angeles ice cream scene. One of the top two ice cream places in Singapore I've been to so far. The texture of the ice cream is how ice cream should be IMO - dense with strong flavours. The Apiary - 4.75 stars My favourite flavour of the three we got. The subtle honey fragrance was interesting Pistachio - 4.25 stars The pistachio flavour was rich and not artificial. The best pistachio ice cream I've had. But for me pistachio is still a gelato flavour and I like the dense stickiness of good pistachio gelato. Caramelised strawberry - 4.5 stars Tastes pretty much just like Haagen-Dazs strawberry, which I think is excellent. I couldn't taste the "caramelised" bit though, and it wasn't as unique as say the apiary or the morello cherry sorbet. Morello cherry sorbet - 4.75 stars We sampled this and I really liked it but it didn't go well with the other flavours we picked so we passed. I'd definitely get it another time. Whiskey pecan - 4.25 stars Sampled this as well. They used just the right amount of whiskey! Unfortunately I was a little sick of pecan since we had a tray of pecan sticky buns the other day. Service - 5 stars The line takes a little while because they're so generous with letting you sample flavours. Thank you! I'll have to come back earlier in the day to try their caffeinated flavours and waffles.

It was either here or on Google that I read that the black sesame and the blue pea milk are a must...and yes, hands down - love! I think I'll have to come back tomorrow night to try the other flavors since I only ordered those two flavors. Rich flavors, and not overly sweet...amazing!

fantastic uniquely flavored ice cream in singapore. perfect for a hot hot day! apiary is a bit hidden and only recognized by a little sign. i'm not a huge fan of ice cream in the states because they're too sweet and sticky -- even the gourmet ones. what i liked about apiary is that they keep the unique flavors but with LESS sugar so that you're not overwhelmed with sweetness. small space but comfortable for groups of 4 or less.

Craving for some dessert after your dinner around outram area? Scout out this gem amongst the shady looking bars along Neil road! I love that apiary has many craft flavors and they rotate often. My favorite is definitely black sesame, featured in my post. Not too sweet, just the right amount to end the night. It was pretty funny that the cone was sweeter than black sesame when I tried it another time, so that's probably not a combi you'd want. Other interesting flavors are uji matcha, blue milk, Ferraro roche. In general, apiary ice cream is the smooth kind. So if you like more texture in your ice cream, they have very few flavors with nuts and crunch added. There are some tables around for you to enjoy your dessert and hang out with friends. Probably enough to fit 15 or so people so it does get a little crowded on weekends. Bring your cash or nets. No credit cards accepted here!

Seriously, this place has the most amazing ice cream. Move aside, Island creamery! I haven't raved about ice cream in a long time. They also serve ice cream with waffles. Waffles are light and fluffy and freshly made. The flavors are very intense, robust, not too sweet yet creamy. You can really taste the actual flavor in the ice cream!!! And it packs a punch! It was so good I had it after lunch and after dinner on the same day. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Flavors I tried that was incredible : pistachio( my favorite!) Ferrero Roche, black sesame, strawberry ( they roast the strawberries before making it for the intense fresh strawberry flavor)! And oh yes, speculoos cheesecake!!! Coupled with the clean environment and friendly staff, this is 5 stars without a doubt.

What a great little ice cream spot! I went here with my friend who is a chef because of the never before experienced flavors they have. Honestly I can't remember the name of the flavors but I remember choosing two I had never heard of. One was black!... and it was awesome. The price was decent as well. The place is tiny so going with a large group might not be possible. I'd definitely come back and recommend it for folks chasing new flavors. Singapore has got it all dude! One of the best ice cream parlors out there and the price is pretty reasonable. The pistachio flavored one is definitely the best out of the 3 flavors that were picked. The atmosphere's pretty great too. A great place to hang out with friends or even a date ;-)
