Hands down the best fish pakora I’ve ever tried! The batter was perfectly crisp without being greasy, and the fish inside was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite had the perfect balance of spices, and you could really taste the freshness of the fish. I would come back here just for the pakora alone. Highly recommend

Worst food garbage food, the shop is so ugly inside and not clean as for Canadian standards, I bought a kachori from them, it tasted so bad that I had to throw it in the garbage, I will never step back in this shop again, this is just a waste of money, no parking available even have to pay for the street car parking, they should shut their business off if can’t offer good food, the kachori was stale probably 3-4 days old he just warmed it and give it to me and took so much time to pretend if he was making it in the kitchen. I am attaching the pic of kachori . It’s a shame to call this food kachori as well 🤮🤮

I always come here when i’m craving home food Their dishes are fresh, light and full of flavour I have previously had their samosas and sweets And also recommend their chana bhature and veg thali The dal is SO GOOD I really enjoy myself every time I come here And I go to no other restaurant on Fraser Street Thank you for the great service ❤️

Google
Worst sweets ever. Jalebi smelled off, gulab jamun was rock hard, khoya sweet tasted stale, and kaju katli had no cashew flavor. Cutting costs shouldn’t ruin someone’s festival. APNA BHAIYA IS NOT APNA ANYMORE. Recently noticed there are so many reviews about their dry and old kaju katli. That’s ridiculous.

My experience was a bit of a mixed bag. While their prices are cheaper compared to other places and the service was good, the overall quality of the food was disappointing. One major letdown was that most of their products were readymade. We went there hoping for the authentic taste of handmade food, but dishes like spring rolls and Dahi Puri (“Dahi wale Golgappe”) were clearly pre-packaged and lacked freshness. Honestly, we could have gone to Costco to pick up similar items instead of dining there. That said, one positive is that they offer dine-in, which is convenient for those looking to eat out. However, if you’re seeking authentic, freshly made food, this may not be the best place to visit.

Google
Delicious food. I love the thalis. They have the best tandoori chicken, so moist and tender. Their chai tea and mango lassi are yummy. It's hard to stop at just one!

5-Star Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This restaurant truly has the best food in both Richmond and Vancouver! It’s located on Fraser Street, and I’ve ordered Jain food from here twice. Since I don’t eat onion and garlic, I really appreciate that they went out of their way to prepare special Jain meals for me — something you don’t easily find in most restaurants. The staff is extremely respectful and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food with amazing service!

Google
Best best best restaurant. Simply taste like home If you want to have food like home.. this is the place to be. We were in Vancouver for 3 days and we visited everyday. The food is super yummy , good portion and best part cost reasonable. Its a must go place. Tastes like home, full filling 🩷 . Panner prantha is must try. Just visit this place. So far the best

Yelp
This place is spilt into two parts. One side is the restaurant dining area and the other has snacks and sweets. Plus you can also order food for take out. My friend took me here for samosas. We had them to go and they were warm and tasted fresh. They were not very oily either. It was good with or without the tamarind dip. I would like to come back again to try the other food and maybe the sweets.

Yelp
Their samosas are AWESOME! Best ones I ever tried in Canada. The lamb is my favorite. Right size, perfect balance of flavors and very crispy. I got lamb, chicken, beef and vegetables. This is now my go to for samosas and I can't wait to try their other dishes.

Yelp
I'm surprised that I haven't been here for a year, I always order their famous fish pakora. There a steeple here in one of the older businesses on Fraser Street do you have quite a variety of other food to dine in or take out?

Yelp
Great food, great packaging. I'd recommend getting the non-veg thali with butter chicken. It's a great option if you don't have a large appetite and eat small to medium sized meals. Samosas are great too!

Yelp
We went in looking for something to snack on but decided to stay and grab lunch. The malai kofta was delicious, the daal was great. We ordered both dishes along with an order of rice and it was more than enough for two people. As we left we stopped for a sweet and it was also amazing. The gulab jamun was the perfect sweet to round out our meal. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Tried vegetarian thaali. Good quality food that can be eaten daily. It has good quantity for two people. Roti is authentic, loved it.

Yelp
Decent place for samosas, despite it being mainly a dessert place. 2 for $1.25 and not as tasty as the Surrey ones IMHO. Credit debit ok. Clean store, though if I'm in Vancouver and if in a pinch, then this will be a last resort. But not glamorous by any stretch. Free parking in front. A few hardworking kids lol.

Yelp
Been going here since I was 1 and it has never failed me. The portions are huge and the owners are so sweet.

Yelp
We ordered the butter chicken and naan bread to go, we probably should have ordered some sweets as well. The naan was stale, butter chicken was decent, but not good enough to return.

Yelp
Bought couple of sweets and they all tasted bad like old stock .. we were able to feel the oil and the next evening it got spoilt...white spots...not suggesting anymore...attitude service...not much informative when I asked for questions about the food....maintain bit respect to customers.....

Yelp
Great tasting samosas for fair prices. Fish pakoras, vegetable pakoras are fantastic but stay away from the chicken pakoras. Despite there being numerous other Indian restaurants in the area, this one is always busy for take-out.

Vanessa F.

Yelp
Consistently for years as I've come here have been a really nice family business and the samosas are 20/10 literally couldn't recommend the chicken samosas with tamarind chutney enough

Yelp
Best food I had, been there twice and not disappointed. Reminded me of good ole Dhaba food

Yelp
I won't forget that old tikka masala they gave us last week. There was a reason why I asked for his reccomendation- so I wouldn't get old chicken from the back of the fridge. I took it to go and once it cooled it smelled like it was about to turn moldy.

Yelp
The take-out food was not fresh; it smelt very bad. I took the food back and confronted them, but they got very defensive and refused to replace it or refund the money. Moreover, the owner came out and was verbally offensive and rude. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Lot of better Indian eateries are located right around the corner.

Yelp
Best food I've eaten in a long time. Great quality, very large portions and just the right heat (medium). Wouldn't hesitate to order again. I honestly wasn't expecting to have such a great experience for delivery, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
Best in the area! We were looking for some sweets to take to a Diwali dinner that we'd been invited to. There are several sweets shops of this variety in the area, but this one is most definitely the most popular. Trays and trays of fresh sweets lined the two sides of the store. Busy time of year for them and the production and selection is incredible. It is self serve, so we grabbed a box and busied ourselves with the task of picking treats two at a time, until we'd selected enough to fill our box. Great prices and the desserts were delicious and all very well received. Enjoyed by everyone. I'm considering a return visit as I'm fighting a cold and am sure all those delicious sweet gooey treats would be good for my throat, and my soul. Yelp
Okay, so I'm a big samosa lover. I've tried many restaurants on Fraser Street, my personal favourite is the one on 41st, New Bhaia Sweet Shop and Restaurant. But I was craving some samosas and I decided to go in to the nearest restaurant which was this one. Worst decision of my life! Their samosas are crumbly and the potato mixture in their vegi samosas was horrible. Not many spices that are to be expected in Indian food. A teen girl was the one who took my order. Very rude and looked like she didn't even want to be there. She had this uninterested look on her face. The place looked horrible, in my opinion, almost like it was trying too hard. Decor not so great. All in all don't recommend you go here unless for soda drinks or lassi. Not worth the time!
