Great spot for a family holiday with young kids under 5. Roomy cabins, comfortable and plenty of deck space to sit, read and eat. Easy walk to the beach (great vantage point for NYE fireworks) and a slightly longer walk (or short drive) to the main strip. Kids can comfortably run around/ride scooters safely even with cars infrequently coming in and out. Generally a very quiet spot. Great place to stay. Food wise Apollo Bay Bakery: amazing good for brekky/lunch/snacks and top notch coffee. Pies are fantastic. George's: best food for families with young kids who have chips with every second meal. Big variety, and the food is fantastic. Better souvlaki then alot of spots in Melbourne.

We stayed at the Apollo Bay Holiday Park over the Melbourne Cup long weekend. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. The park was fully booked, it was very neat and clean. The amenities were modern, very clean. Many families enjoyed the pool area. I highly recommend this superb Holiday Park.

Quiet surprised by this park. I don’t think the website does it justice. Everything is so clean and organised, as well as well presented. The camp kitchen and Facilties are second to none. There is a fully enclosed clean kitchen with tables and chairs. Upstairs is a lounge and tv / foxtel Facilties. Close to the township. Walking distance for those long lunches.

Apollo Bay Holiday Park is very central, a G'Day Park, the reasons why we chose it. It is very family-oriented, with lots of facilities on offer and lots for the family to do. Our cabin was good, clean and comfortable. The Manager was friendly - thank you. We had a great stay. Yes, well recommended ! Thank you.

Terrible experience. Reservation staff double booked our cabin. Cleaning staff let themselves in on us mid- breakfast. Manager was very unprofessional and unhelpful. We showed our invoice of checkout day being Christmas Day after rudely being accused we had made the mistake and mixed up our dates. No apology, just abruptly demanded to leave before the next guests arrive. No compensation for ruining our Christmas Day. Mattresses very hard. Next to no wifi. Useless tv unless you watch outdated DVD’s, no tea-towels etc for kitchenette and minimally stocked. Shower curtain and very small shower with no where to put soap or shampoo bottles. Only one bar to hand a towel inside after showering. Very basic accomodation.

Location was pretty good but it was extremely overpriced for what it was. Paid $55 for a powered site which had an apartment building directly behind it, the heated pool was not very heated (this was told at time of booking), the amenities were clean, camp kitchen was great but didnt have any plates, cutlery pans etc which was super annoying and wifi didnt work. Wouldnt stay here again sadly.

Close enough to town and the beach and the site was clean but we found a few maintenance issues with our cabin. The heater banged when the thermostat cut in and out so we had to turn it off at night also, when you turned on the hot water in the shower the pipes rattled so much you could feel the whole cabin shaking. We had a superior cabin and the only difference between that and a basic cabin seemed to be that it had a queen bed and was slightly bigger in size. Other than that everything else seemed the same. We needed our towels replaced as they were wet after 2 days, but when my wife asked she was told that she needed to wash them and dry them herself. Eventually we got the towels replaced. Parking was tight and the photo advertised shows an executive cabin so l would suggest looking at the plans carefully before purchasing a cabin. Having been in a lot of cabins at other caravan parks this is the worst we have been at a wont be going back. l'll be looking at Big4 for a change. l would rate it 3.5 if l could..

Had a lovely stay at the park, very clean and upkeep spotless. Had a cabin opposite the pool although we didn't use it because it was winter. The shower cubicles were fantastic. The cabin had everything you could want. Had a great stay.
