"I find Apollo's Praise in the Finger Lakes notable for making Alsatian-style wines—co-owner and winemaker Kelby James Russell explains that the Finger Lakes' diverse soils push the region toward single-vineyard, distinct rieslings and can produce rieslings across the full spectrum from bone-dry to dessert-sweet; Russell also recommends pairing dry riesling with choucroute garnie." - Justin Goldman
Apollo's Praise was one of the best tasting experiences we've had in the Finger Lakes. The wines were delicious (we particularly liked the Pentecostal Block and Knoll dry Rieslings and the Cabernet Franc). The appointment-only format meant a relaxed visit and the opportunity to have an in-depth conversation about all of the wines and their history with Sarah, our friendly and knowledgeable host. The setting -- both the barn and the vineyard overlooking Seneca Lake -- are beautiful. Well worth the visit!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable visit to Apollo's Praise on Friday. Sarah was an excellent host/guide. The barn was a cozy and rustic setting to learn about the owners/winemakers and their winemaking philosophy, and to sample the outstanding wines they produce. We also had the opportunity to walk along one of the vineyards from which the wines are made. This winery is a hidden gem that likely won't be "hidden" for long, as they've been raking in the accolades from prestigious wine magazines and critics. I would definitely recommend a visit to Apollo's Praise. Cheers!

We enjoyed a tasting 9/13 with friends at Appollo’s Quaint barn. Daisy our server was so easygoing and knowledgeable about the wines. We had enjoyed their Rose’ at the Rose’ Soiree and wanted to taste their other wines. At the end of our tasting, we were hooked and are now club members!!! Looking forward to events and great wine. Thanks!

Tastings are by appointment only and are one group at a time. Our tasting with Sarah in the farmhouse. It was a very intimate experience since Sarah could focus on us and provide detailed information about the various plots, varietals, and winemaking processes. The wine was fantastic and has been reviewed by people with far more sophisticated palates than mine. Go visit and be happy.

A must-visit locus of viticulture and winemaking. Book a tasting on the AP website for a sampling of current offerings or tasting focused on the Lahoma Valley. At the time of this review, expressions include Riesling, Chardonnay, Scheurebe, Grüner Veltliner, and Rosés of Gamay Noir and of Cabernet Franc,
