We went for lunch there, the service is great, friendly. Portions are really huge, but they packed us what we couldn’t eat. Food is great! At the end we got ice cream, cake and sweet jam for free on the house. Definitely worth!

Had the most wonderful long lunch here on NYE. Great food - fresh squid perfectly fried, tasty mixed appetizer plate, finished with complimentary Greek sweets & raki - all thoroughly enjoyed while watching the beautiful waterfront view turned over sunset. The highlight is the super friendly Yiannis! I had a beautiful memory and I’m looking forward to return soon! 😊

The restaurant is perfectly nestled beside the sea. As we enjoyed the breathtaking sea view, we were warmly greeted by the friendly and professional staff, instantly making us feel at home. The restaurant was spotless and well-organized, setting the stage for a great meal. The food was incredibly fresh, with a delightful homemade touch that made every bite memorable. To top it off, they served a complimentary dessert that was simply the cherry on top of a fantastic meal. With reasonable prices and such high quality, this is undoubtedly the best seafood spot in Chania. If you're looking for authentic seafood and a great experience, this is the place to be!

Sometimes when we see a restaurant located at the best spot, overlooking a picturesque harbor, we expect a tourist trap. In the case of Apostolis restaurant, this is far from true. I have visited Apostolis quite a few times in the last years. Both business and leisure trips. It has always been an exceptional experience. The outdoors tables overlook the Venetian harbor and thanks to the mild Chania weather you can sit outside almost all year long. During my last visits, Apostolis’ son (Giannis by name) is running the restaurant now. He and the waiter were very friendly and efficient. The first time, I ordered a fish soup, for which I got to choose the fresh fish myself. It was marvelous, and a very good choice if you have the time to wait or even better order is, go for a stroll around the harbor and return to the restaurant after 30-45 minutes. The second time I had seafood spaghetti, which was very good as well. The small plates were also excellent, grilled octopus, avgotaracho and dips. In a nutshell, this is one of the best (if not THE best) seafood restaurants in Chania and it deserves my full recommendation.

What a great place. By the port, fantastic fresh food & excellent service. Sat for several hours & enjoyed every minute. Home made cake, raki & yogurt with fruit was a lovely way to end our meal. Will definitely be going back, probably tomorrow as it was so good.

Apostolis Restaurant in Chania was a huge disappointment. We ordered a seafood platter consisting of fish, shrimp, sardines, fried squid, and mussels, but none of it tasted fresh. In fact, some of the seafood had a funny taste, making us question whether it had spoiled before being cooked. The quality was unacceptable, especially for a restaurant in Greece, where seafood is usually a highlight. To make matters worse, the service was unpleasant. The waiter, who might have been the owner, was rude when clearing our table. He made loud clattering noises as he removed dishes and silverware, adding to the uncomfortable experience. Having recently enjoyed a delicious seafood meal at a restaurant in Santorini, this experience at Apostolis was a stark contrast. As a tourist, I would not recommend anyone dine here. It’s a shame to see such a poor representation of Greek cuisine.

Food is PERFECT. I cant exaggerate enough how tasty it is! They have such wide variety of dishes and still are very flexible by your desires. Service is extremely friendly They serve very cute and tasty complimentary desert. Even the napkins feel like at home

Great food! Fried fresh calamari one of the best, really. Good house wine, wonderful atmosphere, but… The service strongly needs repairing! Definitely the service is not good. The kept asking us to order, asking if we are finished, gave us the bill without asking for it and kept staring at us expecting to leave.
