Great location on Storgatan in Simrishamn. The hotel room was basic and bland and in need of refurbishment. We had our own bathroom, although some rooms have a shared bathroom (which we preferred to avoid). The wifi was quite slow. While far from perfect, it was comfortable enough for us especially since we were outside frequently during the day. ||||Breakfast was simple and good, and was served in a charming courtyard (which is also a great restaurant during the day and evening serving wood-fired pizzas for lunch and dinner).

This is about the hotel’s restaurant. We had a nice lunch here, done with local ingredients. I had the “salsiccia”: despite the name, it’s a German-style sausage and not an Italian-style one. Anyway, it was definitely good. The staff was a bit stressed when we ordered, but anyway we enjoyed what we got.

We stayed for one night in a deluxe room. It was a nice room, light, inviting and clean. Two comfortable single beds and a nice bathroom. Two earplugs were laid out in the room – considerate, but also a little disturbing. However, it proved to be quite unnecessary. We had a quiet night even though we slept with the window slightly open and you live in the middle of the town. Sounds travel in the building, though.||Breakfast was also nice. It contained what is needed for a typical Scandinavian breakfast, and you eat it in a room that is retro to a degree – in the cool way. All together, the atmosphere is nice in this B&B.||Be aware that some rooms doesn't have bathroom and have a narrower bed.

Couldn't find the listing for just the restaurant part of Apotekarns. Definitely should stand on its own. Have eaten here a couple of times during the summer, and it is definitely one of the coziest places to grab a lunch or coffee in Southern Sweden or the Österlen region specifically. To complement the ambiance of the place, the high-end pizzas and salads are definitely very tasty. Service was good as well - attentive and friendly. Great jumping off point for checking out the rest of what Simrishamn has to offer; or just to chill there for most of the day.

This small bed and breakfast or small hotel is located centrally in the small town of Simrishamn in southern Sweden in the county of Skåne. The town and the surrounding area is very popular among summer tourists. The Apotekarns garden (The pharmacists garden) is a beautiful garden in a mediterranean style with a nice cafe where you can have great coffee, great cakes and a good lunch. This accommodatyion is situated close to the cafe but is nota bene not a part of it. You dont even get into the garden in evenings since it was closed from 3 pm. There is no reception you check in and out in the breakfast room. The breakfast of the bed and breakfast is served indoors in an old restaurant on the second floor that very much has all the interior decorations left from the 50s. Its a bit sad that you cant have your breakfast in the beautiful mediterranenan garden. The rooms were small and extremely basic when it comes to furniturte and a bit dirty. The bed lamp was broke and all things looked a bit worn and dated. There was a small television. The bathroom was small as well but had a shower. The breakfast was nothing special coffee orange juice and some bread with cheese and ham. The cost for a night wasnt that low however. There are many other small hotels and bed and breakfast places in town and I would suggest you to choose one of those instead.

We booked this B&B mainly due to the lovely pictures of the garden. However, during our stay, we were not able to see or come near the garden, as this was closed. We were really disappointed about this.||||This B&B seems a bit overpriced in my view. Rooms were pretty simple and clean. However, the breakfast room was brilliantly original 60s-style and the young woman there was very friendly.

Apotekarns B&B has been recently refurbished and has gotten new owners, but is still a very basic B&B. Very good location and nice staff. The rooms are very sterile and white without much decor. Our room was well cleaned exept for some minor stuff in the bathroom.||Breakfast was OK, but nothing more. They were a little short of everything and we had to wait for a lot of basic items like juice, hot water and eggs. The breakfast room looks like an old cafeteria. Needs refurbishing.||The B&B is close to the mediteranian garden, but not exactly a part of it. I had expected the rooms to face the gardens as the B&B uses it heavily in their marketing, and perhaps be able to enjoy our breakfast there.||It's also a little overpriced. 1295 SEK pr night.

Bit of an odd mix here, the room was very clean and nice but we were a bit apprehensive due to the institutional feel of the corridors and dining area. Definitely in need of a bit of a refurb but pleasant enough for a night or two. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
