Appartement Residence

The Hotel has two big Pluses, breakfast and location. The hotel is located very near the old city which is very cool and breakfast was delicious. But under those pluses is hiding the reality. The hotel is located near the rails for trams and the noise at night is unbearable. Our biggest disappointment is the room that we've got. My mom paid for the room in the main building (villa). When we arrived at our room we were in pretty big shock, we didn't have the pretty room like in the photos on the website, we had a big concrete box in the backyard of the hotel which we used to call "garage". The room itself was very bad. The furniture was old, and there was a lot of dirt on the wall behind the kitchenette. The beds creaked at night when someone moved, which was very annoying. When we went to wash up on the first night, the shower started filling up with water, because the drain was so clogged. We are very unsatisfied with what we've got and it was not worth the money we paid.

Nice little hotel in central Bremen we had a superior room which was exceptionally large for a hotel had a settee two chairs 50inch tv coffee table etc nice bathroom great shower couldn’t ask for more We had breakfast which was really good it had everything continental and also hot bacon eggs etc no complaints

A hotel that is very close to 3*. The studio where I stayed is spacious and has a kitchenette. The staff is very kind and the location is clean. There is also the possibility to park for €10/night in the inner courtyard. The breakfast is filling and tasty. The internet is free and quite fast. There is a large park near the location and the area is quiet, access to supermarkets (Aldi, Rewe, Edeka) is also easy. The city center is a 10-minute walk away. If I return to Bremen, I will not hesitate to stay here again.

We drove in to Bremen on the autobahn, and as we approached the city there was a lot of road construction which delayed us over 2 hours of gridlock and very slow traffic. I had searched GPS in the car for a hotel to stay at, however there is a fine for driving in the no vehicles area of the old town and this hotel seemed in the heart of it. We did finally locate that hotel but it was on the edge of the old town and absolutely no place to park. I drove out a mile or so and then stopped to locate another place...the Hotel Residence came up and was only a mile away. The Hotel Residence is absolutely the the Best location- very quiet residential neighborhood, two blocks from the train station (for train travelers convenience) and 5 blocks from the old town. Best comfort- old former private residence with classy furniture and rooms. Best service- very friendly and helpful ladies run this place. Best price- very reasonable room price (114 euro) includes breakfast and off street parking. Best breakfast - absolutely the best breakfast we have ever had in Europe, so good and plentiful choices of delicacies hot and cold, served up in a beautiful breakfast room with window views and very nice decor. We really loved this place and the staff that run it. They even allowed us to leave our car parked in their lot until 5 pm on our check out day so we could stroll the old town some more. Please note: there is no air conditioning in this old building. We arrived on a very hot summer day, so the our room was too warm even opening the large windows didn't help. The staff here was wonderful and supplied us with a fan for the room which cooled it very nicely. I very highly recommend this place for a stay in Bremen. Just blocks from the Hauptbahnhof in Bremen in a quiet neighborhood of beautiful homes. The rooms were lovely. The staff was more than willing to help. The breakfasts had everything you could want. What an amazing find. If you’re tired of corporate hotel chains and want old world style and comfort at a very reasonable price stay here

I really liked the location of the hotel - in a proximity to the congress centre where I was attending a meeting. My first impression was of a cosy place and it would remained such if there were not the horrible noises from the kitchen early in the morning. My room was located on the first floor and apparently there was no sufficient noise isolation on the floor. Otherwise very friendly staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms. If you book a room there, make sure to get a room on one of the other floors.

I booked the hotel because of the location close to the railway station. It's just 3min walk from that. Also the exhibition center is as close. ||||Location in the residential area. Old-fashioned, homelike style. Rooms are clean but quite a small. Service was good and polite. Quiet unless opening the window when the noise of the trains is very audible. Had some unfortunate problems with water not running one morning. Breakfast was little disappointing having relatively small selection. There is no 24h reception so this should keep in mind if arriving late or leaving early. ||||Overall a place to sleep in safe and clean place but nothing spectacular.

The hotel has very good location for Bremen. Very close for the city center and the train station. We stayed on roof top floor and the room is very good decorated..but.. there is no any elevator and if I will stay here again, I won't choose this room only for this reason. The breakfast is average, because if you woke up a little bit late, may be after 8:00, the choices of your breakfast will be very limited..
