Appart'Hôtel Le 31 McMahon - Par Aneyro

I booked this hotel last minute because the hotels associated with our business conference were sold out. While skeptical at first, we were pleasantly surprised: - the rooms are super nice - the hotel is deceivingly quiet - unbeatable location - and despite being “autonomous”, the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive via text. Arguable more so than actual humans at a reception desk. My only complaint is that the AC unit is located in the main living area of the room and not the bedroom. We had to crank it and leave the door open to get the bedroom cold. If someone was using the pullout couch, they would have been very uncomfortable.

It is a beautiful apartment hotel on a quiet street right behind the city gate. It is close to almost everything. The room is basically a furnished single apartment. It's, however, lacking a closet to hang your clothes. The kitchen is completely furnished with all the necessities during your stay. All the facilities are done online, starting from checking in, opening the entry door, room door, and checking out. You don't see anybody there. Your TV doesn't work anymore on your checkout day because it forces you to check out. Uber from the airport costs around $50 Canadian. Uber from the cruise port is less than $15.

This is an amazing property - close to everything you'd want to see and experience in Quebec! It marries the Old World charm of the building with exposed stone- and brick-work with modern amenities and comfort. We will definitely stay at 31 Mc Mahon again!

We had an exceptional experience with the team at Le 31 McMahon. During our visit, we found ourselves in a position where we needed to move hotels. The team was incredibly receptive to our situation, responding with efficiency and professionalism. Upon arrival, we appreciated the quietness of the street where Le 31 McMahon is located. The availability of parking was very important to us, and we were pleased to find that they offer this service with a few spaces available to book. The room was spacious, beautiful, and charming, making our stay truly enjoyable. We greatly appreciated our few nights there and will definitely return in the future.

Our second stay at this wonderful property. An older building with an architectural renovation and beautiful accomodations. It's a couple short blocks to Rue St Jean, the main tourist street in Old Quebec. I highly recommend this great property

Very happy with our stay here. The location is amazing! Everything is so close by. Many restaurants just around the corner. Ice skating for the kids was also around the corner. We easily walked to everything we wanted to see. We had a ground floor apartment that was very modern and clean. It was a big apartment with 1 bedroom and two living areas with pull out sofa beds (1 double, 1 queen) with kitchen and also washing machine and dryer. The showers were great and bed and pillows were comfortable. Checkin was easy with great communication from the team. I thought it would be hard not having I site reception but it was not. The online chat feature was very handy when we needed anything and they were always very quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend it more highly.

My sister accidentally found Le 31 while frantically scrolling through Agoda looking for a cheaper place to stay during our 3 nights 4 day visit. We are a group of 5. Four adults and one teen. She told me she found this place and it has 1 queen bed and 2 sofa beds for a very reasonable price in the middle of July. Now, every hotel we searched was so expensive already. I told her to immediately book this one because it looks good and close to most attractions. Did not disappoint! The unit looks very good. It has an airbnb feels. Our unit was on the third floor which was a bit of a climb (we had a few carry-ons) but not a problem. We booked a family room but I think it has another name on another app. Sheets and duvets were provided and it came with all the kitchen utensils. Very spacious unit too. Just a heads up there’s no AC inside the main bedroom with the queen bed. AC was only located in the living room. When we visited it was very humid and hot that week. The ac was on full blast but it was still hot inside the bedroom if you close the door. So we decided to just keep the door open to help the ac circulate into the room. Nonetheless, our stay was awesome. We even get to use the laundry and dryer that came with the unit. Walking distance to different restaurants and so close to the chateau. Would definitely book again!

We made the right choice to stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, the bed was super comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. We didn’t get the chance to make use of it because we were out the whole day but it was comforting to know that there were some things you could use if needed. The location was really ideal as well. Just walking distance from a lot of restaurants and some places for sightseeing. Will definitely stay here again if ever we get to visit Quebec City in the future. Very worth it!
