The first-ever floating Apple store is coming to Singapore - SilverKris

"Housed in a futuristic, spherical structure that appears to float on the waters of Marina Bay and designed by Foster + Partners, this upcoming store will be linked to the mall by an underwater passage and also accessible via a footbridge. It occupies the site formerly used by the Avalon nightclub (2011–2016) and will become the brand’s third retail outpost in Singapore; no opening date has been announced." - SilverKris

The most striking feature of the Singapore stores is their architecture, particularly the Apple Marina Bay Sands location. This is the world's first floating Apple Store, housed in a striking spherical glass dome that resembles a glowing lantern. Apple Specialists are knowledgeable, friendly, and focus on guided shopping and personal setup sessions. This makes purchasing a new device a smooth and personalized experience. Singapore's official Apple Stores offer an outstanding retail and architectural experience that perfectly aligns with the brand's premium image #Apple #Sands #MarinaBay

I had seen the Apple Dome on TV before but seeing it in person was something else. It’s even more impressive in real life. The structure itself is visually striking, a floating glass sphere gently anchored on the water of Marina Bay. You can’t help but stop and admire how beautifully it complements the surrounding skyline. Once inside, the design is just as stunning. The curved glass panels offer a 360-degree view of the bay and skyline, making it feel more like a viewing platform than a retail store. The natural light during the day gives the space a calm, gallery-like atmosphere. At night, the glow from the dome adds a whole new layer of magic. The main dome area houses part of the store, and then you descend via an escalator that seems to go through the water to access the main shopping area below. The interior layout is sleek, open, and unmistakably Apple in style. Staff were welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. This is truly one of the most uniquely designed Apple Stores I’ve ever seen. Even if you’re not shopping, it’s worth visiting just to experience the architecture and views. A must-see when in Singapore. Wednesday 10 AM–10 PM Thursday 10 AM–10 PM Friday 10 AM–10 PM Saturday 10 AM–10 PM Sunday 10 AM–10 PM Monday 10 AM–10 PM Tuesday 10 AM–10 PM

During my trip to Singapore, I visited the 'Apple showroom' several times. From the moment I stepped inside, it felt like stepping into a world where technology meets elegance. The environment was calm, clean, and beautifully designed. I explored several new Apple products—each one a perfect example of innovation. Surprisingly, the place wasn’t crowded at all, which made the experience even more relaxing. I was actually searching for an old iPhone model for one of my colleagues, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available. Still, I didn’t feel disappointed—being there was an experience in itself. Just beside the showroom stood some of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks: the Merlion, the Flower Dome, and the Cloud Forest. Each had its own charm and beauty. The view, the light, and the peaceful breeze together created a magical feeling—something you can only experience, not explain. I made a promise to myself—next time I visit Singapore, I’ll definitely return to these places, carrying the same excitement and wonder in my heart.

One of the Most Awesome and Beautiful Apple Store I have ever visited that could make me want to go back over and over again. At the entrance of Apple, you will receive a Welcome greeting from the staff which is a real good start. Proceed on to browse and there is no pressure at all. Staff are knowledgeable and there are always around to help. Proceed to the escalator which brings you up to the floating platform and step further in please to view the spectacular Sea view of Singapore CBD buildings. Walk around and you will discover that all iPhone products are neatly displayed on the table ranging to HPs, AirPods, Mac book as well as accessories. There’s a Big screen up there too and periodically staff there will run iphone tutorials for guest n public. A real pleasant place to drop in whenever one is at MBS❤️

Apple MBS is nothing short of a showstopper — a floating glass orb that seems to hover over Marina Bay, offering 360° views of Singapore’s skyline. The store’s architecture is daringly minimal yet dramatic: 114 glass panels and just 10 vertical mullions support the dome, while internal baffles filter sunlight and create a calm, open space. Inside, you’ll find all the usual Apple fanfare — curated product displays, Genius support, and creative “Today at Apple” sessions — but surrounded by water, light, and nature. Of course, a store this showy comes with expectations. The experience is impeccable — staff are multilingual and well trained, and the surroundings make every visit feel special. That said, reserving a slot in advance is wise (walk-ins might face queues) and while the design is breathtaking, the “wow” factor can overshadow functionality — sometimes it feels more like an art installation than a quick tech-buying stop.

It’s my first time visit Apple Store at MBS even I living at SG so many years ! Few days ago I managed to secure an iPhone 17 pro 512G silver on Apple Store app which I just need to pick up at the store. And this comes my first time visiting here. You have to enter the store at B2 not from the outside sphere. Then there’s a queue for the pick up. Apple staff will approach you for the collection. I was first serviced by a staff named Ricky Leow. Good impression with his honesty and professionalism and humour. Since I’m changing my phone from Xs max to 17 pro , with such a huge gap, I seeking numerous of advices with different staffs. Able to attend 2 live courses which about camera shooting and the latest feature of 17 series model. I’ve learnt so many useful tips and I’m totally happy about it !
