The first-ever floating Apple store is coming to Singapore - SilverKris

"Located at Piazza Liberty, this store is distinguished by a dramatic eight‑metre‑high fountain encased in glass and interiors clad extensively in Beola Grigia granite, creating a striking, material-rich setting for the retail space." - SilverKris

The design is quite nice and interesting — the entrance and exit feel like an underground base, very unique. There are plenty of staff inside, and whenever you approach them, they’re attentive and helpful. Their English is also perfectly good.

On December 12th, my friend and I were doing some major Christmas shopping in Milan. The store was large and modern. We made an appointment. The salesperson spoke English. After we selected a phone, headphones, and accessories, we had to fill out tax refund paperwork. We are from Ukraine. At that point, the salesperson left... Soon, another employee approached us and completed the transaction. As we were leaving, we saw the same salesperson; he was serving Russian customers in Russian. This is the first time I have encountered discrimination. How is this possible in Italy? How is this even possible? A Russian salesperson in Italy, at the Apple flagship store, refused to serve customers from Ukraine! I have so many questions. Is this Apple's ethics? Do you tolerate discrimination? Is it legal to sell goods to Russian tourists during sanctions? I want to hear your answers. This was the most unpleasant experience for us. For which we paid 3,000 euros.

During my visit to the Apple Store, I noticed a general attitude problem among the staff at the entrance particularly the women wearing dark blue jackets who provide initial information. The behavior comes across as arrogant, dismissive, and unfriendly, as if helping customers is a burden rather than their job. If interacting with people causes visible irritation, it might be worth reconsidering whether a customer-facing role is the right place to work especially in a company that positions itself around premium service and customer experience This kind of attitude significantly impacts the overall impression of the store and does not reflect Apple’s stated values.

This Apple Store makes one of my best experiences with Apple, thanks to Flavia who was a great help for us to address a technical issues with my new mobile phone. It is one of the best encounters, staff are extremely helpful, well stock devices and very welcoming environment. Well done team! I wish to come back to this store, even if it means travelling for miles to get there. Thank you again team!

The Apple Store at Piazza Liberty in Milano is absolutely stunning! Designed by Foster + Partners, the space is a cool mix of modern architecture and inviting design. The entrance, with its beautiful glass and cascading waterfalls, is one of the most unique and impressive I’ve ever seen. Outside, the store’s layout encourages community—people can relax on the big stairs and enjoy the ambiance, making it feel like a gathering place rather than just a retail spot. The design continues to amaze as you head to the ground level, where the waterfall flows into the square—such a cool touch. The store is modern, spacious, and fully wheelchair accessible with an elevator, making it easy for everyone to explore. I also loved the "Today at Apple" sessions—free in-store workshops where you can learn and try out the latest Apple innovations. If you're a tech lover or just want to see a beautifully designed space, this store is a must-visit when in Milan. Perfect for a quick visit or to join one of the fun sessions!

Stunning store! It’s a very beautiful place, both inside and outside. When I visited, they were offering a free workshop about the iPhone camera. However, due to the large crowd inside, there were no attendants available to assist me

This Apple Store was an absolute disgrace. I came in for the simplest purchase possible — an EU duckhead adapter for my MacBook Pro M5 and maybe a couple of cables. Nothing complicated. Nothing time-consuming. Yet somehow, three different employees managed to do absolutely nothing. The first consultant immediately brushed me off and sent me to someone else. The second one, instead of behaving professionally, spoke to me in a rude, dismissive tone and claimed he was “busy” — while casually chatting and selling an iPhone to Irina as if he had all the time in the world. Then he sent me to another consultant who already had a full line of customers waiting. All this nonsense just to get a small adapter. What shocked me most is that the store was filled with employees — honestly more staff than customers during peak hours — yet nobody could be bothered to help with a basic request. It looked chaotic, unorganized, and absolutely not what you expect from Apple. This was hands down the worst Apple Store experience I’ve ever had, and a complete embarrassment for a company that prides itself on premium service. If this is what Apple service has turned into, it’s a shame.

Amazing Apple Store in the center of Milan! The glass fountain entrance is stunning. Inside is bright, modern, and spacious. Staff are helpful and friendly. Great place to explore Apple products or just relax. A must-visit if you're in Milan

Yelp
Kind employees, paid 347€ for some bits and bobs. I also went to the Genius Bar, and the queue was acceptable. Also the entry is fantastic!

Yelp
One thing that I've come to expect from Apple, is these huge, vibrant, cool stores in the world's biggest and best cities, and Milan is no different, their location here at Piazza del Liberty, a short walk away from Duomo. The waterfall on the glass is a unique feature, before heading down the steps, and it's a typical, modern Apple Store showcasing the latest Apple tech. The main store area is bright, and modern and showcases Apple's latest tech from Macbooks to iPhones in a beautiful, spacious store, with comfortable places to sit, relax, even charge up and use the WiFi. All of the staff were friendly and happy to help, I found it useful how many of the staff had a good understanding of the English language (Il mio italiano non è così buono). I ended up forgetting to pack my Apple Watch charger, I was advised by a helpful advisor that I could purchase one from the store, and return it for a full refund, before going home, meaning I was able to borrow one for free due to Apple's generous return policy. On both occasions, to purchase and return my charger, I was able to get in and out of the store in a couple of minutes, with a great experience with all staff members. There wasn't much difference between the prices here and back home too - given the difference in currency which is fluctuating like crazy right now, the difference was under a pound/euro for my charging cable. 5* - I simply love this store, it reminds me a lot of the Fifth Avenue Apple Store in New York, but slightly smaller and less hectic (in a good way). A beautiful store with unique features and awesome service warrants 5/5 in my book.

Yelp
My iPhone unexpectedly became reset on a long international flight. Unable to restore it, and frazzled at the implications, I dropped in at this beautiful new Apple store and had a Genius Bar appointment within 45 minutes. I don't speak Italian, so the first Genius who helped us grabbed Niccolo who, it turns out, had lived for several years in the US. I've not been helped by a more personable Genius at any Apple store I've visited. He was charming, helpful and most of all, patient as we worked through the convoluted steps to fully recovering my phone and account. Five stars doesn't say enough! Thank You Nico!
