Apsara Cafe is Pittsburgh's best kept secret! The food is amazing! So much flavor, texture and quality with each dish. Apsara serves both Thai and Cambodian cuisine! We started with the grilled beef short rib appetizer... so much flavor!!! We both ordered the jasmin tea... The tea is delicious, but what I loved most is that they serve raw sugar!!! We shared the green curry with shrimp and fusion pad thai with panang curry!! Generous portions. We have lots of leftovers. The decor is also lovely. It's very relaxing. Service was excellent! We will visit again soon!

One of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. The service was top notch. The broth in the lemongrass coconut soup is addicting. Perfect blend of sweet, sour and spicy. If you like Thai you will love this Cambodian spot!

We shared the chicken pad Thai and green curry- delicious! Homemade sauces too. It was really cute inside (nice decorations, low mood music). Not crowded at lunch time, very friendly wait staff. If you can, go for lunch! They serve huge portions and it comes with a spring roll and quite possibly some of the best Thai soup I’ve had; all of it for a really reasonable price. All I can say is please go! You’ll love it.

This place is really really good! Service is spectacular. The staff is so polite, knowledgeable, and thorough. I have been here three times and everytime is better. They have an amazing Thai fusion dish which is pad Thai with your choice of curry sauce. It sounds weird but damn is it good. I am addicted to the green curry option. Don't walk, run to try it yourself. Also lunch specials are only $10.

Best lunch value in the city of Pittsburgh. Where else can you get a great 3 course meal for under $10. I especially enjoy the chicken pad Thai but we aware of what your order concerning spice level. They can make it exceptionally hot. Variety of soups are all tasty and great decor as well.

Frequent this place more than anywhere else in the south side. Cannot understand how Thai me up is busier than this place. The food is delicious and portions are much bigger than Thai me up. Also, they use way more produce. Delicious curries too. I especially like the Penang curry and the green papaya salad. Wait staff always friendly and it's BYOB. It's a bit quirky maybe- usually pretty empty and with just one server, but it's so good! Go and enjoy!

Apsara has really good food! Good portions and great service. An authentic experience. It's kind of a hidden gem right now, almost never crowded. I almost didn't want to write this review because once the word gets out I am certain it will become popular and be crowded.
