Aptaliko

Good taberna. There's not really anything special about Aptaliko; they serve standard Greek fare. All four dishes we had for dinner were tasty, though. The service is slow, given that a single waiter is in charge of 15 or more tables. We paid €25 for two people. They don't have dessert.

Excellent traditional food with a special attention to the ingredients. I found very nice that along with the well known dishes the restaurant proposes some less known but very tasty dishes from the Greek tradition. Apart from the food the restaurant is in a nice location away from the traffic and is staffed by very friendly people. Overall I strongly recommend to check out this place, it's a very nice discovery.

The atmosphere is nice, the dimmed light of the street and roman ruins contribute for the coziness. Initially there was no free table, but the waiter suggested to give us a phone call when there is one, which is happening to me for first time and left me really impressed. Good place for travellers, the waiters were very friendly and gave us suggestions for traditional dishes. We also got an ouzo as compliment for the restaurant. Five stars for sure :)

I rarely post poor reviews as I understand the challenges facing the restaurant business but I am sorry to say that the food was not good especially the seafood risotto which was appalling. In addition the red wine was very poor. I so wanted this place to be great but it just wasn't.

We had one of the best meals of our trip here! They were so hospitable and had excellent suggestions. Would highly recommend to anybody. The dessert was to die for! Everything was homemade by the family that owns it, and they did an outstanding job!

A beautiful corner close to the centre of Patra. You can have your dinner looking at the Greek ruins. Amazing! Good food for a very good price. Traditional Greek cuisine, not fancy but very very good!
