Apu Lodge

We loved our stay here! The central location made everything easily accessible. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff was very attentive throughout our visit. The on-site laundry service was excellent—fast and reliable. We also enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden and the super comfortable hammock. A perfect blend of comfort and convenience!

Secluded, peaceful, relaxing and restorative. This little slice of paradise is a joy! We loved the two nights we stayed there. Breakfast was delicious. the grounds were beautiful, and the staff were attentive and helpful in many ways. They prepared breakfast early for us on the day our tour started, and they assisted with plans around town. This little lodge gives you a quiet stay in the town of Ollantaytambo. Highly recommend!

Apu Lodge was one of our favorite hotels in the Sacred Valley. Everything was great. Leo at the front desk was incredible from booking to checking out. He arranged all of our transport (Edgar our driver was great and a safe driver) to and from the airport as well as a day touring in the valley. Breakfast was excellent. We will recommend this hotel to friends.

Apu lodge was a lovely base to explore the sacred valley before continuing onto Machu Picchu. The reception manager Leo, was charming, with great English and couldn't do enough to help. The location is perfect, at the back of ollantaytambo, far enough from the main square to make it peaceful, but only 5 minutes walk to all the restaurants and taxis etc. someone loves the garden, with flowers and fruit trees surrounding the lodge. If you're lucky you might get a room on the top floor with views across to the spectacular Ollantaytambo Incan ruins. Thoroughly recommended.

Our family stayed in the family suite at Apu Lodge. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Comfortable beds, fluffy warm comforters, plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The lodge is far away from the main street in town. It was quiet and in.a lovely garden setting. We were also close to the entrance of one of the pre-Columbian sites that you can tour in town. On this trip, we stayed in some high end hotels in other parts of Peru, but my family ended up liking Apu Lodge the best out of all of our hotels.||As an added bonus, the hotel staff arranged to give us a very early breakfast the morning that we had to get our train to Machu Picchu. Also, purified water and coca tea available in the lobby around the clock.

Apu Lodge is nothing short of a fairy tale! The beautiful garden is bursting with flowers, thoughtful touches, and lovely hummingbirds. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Beyond the wonderful location and accommodations, the staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I couldn't recommend Apu Lodge more!

We loved our four night stay here. It was relaxing and tranquil. We loved the gardens. The breakfast was fresh daily and we appreciated the unlimited access to tea. We utilized the laundry service and they organized a taxi to Cusco for us. The shower was hot, the room was spacious, we loved our balcony and view. They have a huge book exchange. There are no tvs in the room and the wifi is unreliable but we appreciated that as it gave us time to disconnect and be present.

Beautiful views, calm and quiet, comfortable, big bed, delicious and big breakfast. Free drinkable water tank and hot water 24/7. Fantastic shower with good pressure and hot water. There is tons of fun books, guides and hiking maps to use. Staff was super friendly and kind. You can do the laundry on spot as well. 100/10 experience:) I couldn't recommend enough. ||Thank you ♥️
