Apu Lodge

The place is great! It is in a calm street, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, shower is hot and with great pressure.|Breakfast was delicious. We had a nice view of the Fortaleza. |But the best thing ever is the staff: they are very kind and helpful. I do recommend this place.

We loved our stay here! The central location made everything easily accessible. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff was very attentive throughout our visit. The on-site laundry service was excellent—fast and reliable. We also enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden and the super comfortable hammock. A perfect blend of comfort and convenience!

This place is a hidden gem. Our family of 5 stayed in the family room very comfortably. The staff is amazing, super hospitable going the extra mile to make our stay great. They arranged safe transportation, tourist advice, had breakfast ready for us at 5am for an early train ride, etc. The lodge is beautiful and has a big beautiful backyard for kids and grown ups to play. We would be recommending Apu Lodge to all our friends coming to Peru!

Secluded, peaceful, relaxing and restorative. This little slice of paradise is a joy! We loved the two nights we stayed there. Breakfast was delicious. the grounds were beautiful, and the staff were attentive and helpful in many ways. They prepared breakfast early for us on the day our tour started, and they assisted with plans around town. This little lodge gives you a quiet stay in the town of Ollantaytambo. Highly recommend!

Apu Lodge was one of our favorite hotels in the Sacred Valley. Everything was great. Leo at the front desk was incredible from booking to checking out. He arranged all of our transport (Edgar our driver was great and a safe driver) to and from the airport as well as a day touring in the valley. Breakfast was excellent. We will recommend this hotel to friends.

Apu lodge was a lovely base to explore the sacred valley before continuing onto Machu Picchu. The reception manager Leo, was charming, with great English and couldn't do enough to help. The location is perfect, at the back of ollantaytambo, far enough from the main square to make it peaceful, but only 5 minutes walk to all the restaurants and taxis etc. someone loves the garden, with flowers and fruit trees surrounding the lodge. If you're lucky you might get a room on the top floor with views across to the spectacular Ollantaytambo Incan ruins. Thoroughly recommended.

The location, gardens, views, and staff were fabulous! We had a wonderful stay at Apu Lodge, and it was an excellent location for our 4 night stay to explore Machu Picchu, and other locations throughout the Sacred Valley. The staff were very helpful and kind. We also highly recommend Edgar, a driver/guide who can be booked directly through Apu Lodge.
