Just 10 minutes walking from the airport. This is a brand new hotel. The restaurant has a huge selection of dishes and prices are ok. Staff was pretty busy but responsive.

Stayed for a business trip. Don't judge this gem from the outside. Beautiful modern room with an amazing restaurant.

Travelling to Iqaluit doesn't offer a lot of options for hotels. Aqsarniit is the newest hotel and it shows. The rooms are comfortable, furnishings new, and generally very pleasant. The staff are friendly and doing their best, but they're also new and not as experienced as one would encounter in the South - but that's to be expected. Iqaluit is a very small place after all. The hotel restaurant and lounge are good by Northern standards, but again - service won't be the same as in the South nor will the quality of food. It is good by Iqaluit standards though. Word of warning - the lounge does get loud after 22:00 - especially Thursday - Saturday nights, so if you're a light sleeper, request a room on the third floor or higher. Definitely will return!

I just checked in to this hotel for the first time, and I'm struggling to understand the negative reviews. I've stayed at The Frob, Discovery, and other locations --- none of them compare. My room was spotless on arrival, the staff at the front desk was extremely helpful, they have a $10 discount on breakfast through a voucher program ... not sure what else is to be expected. In my opinion, it's a fantastic facility and there's a lot to appreciate about it.

Very beautiful hotel but like most other reviews, it's not the cleanest. As a person who is very clean, I actually had to clean the room myself when I arrived. Not with wipes, with spray cleaner and gloves. Urine drops, finger prints etc. If you look close enough you will see the previous guest still in the room. Restaurant food was good. Staff was friendly. Rooms were spacious. Only issue was the cleanliness. If you can deal with that, you'll be ok.

Large rooms and high ceiling make it feel a bit colder than other hotels. The room heaters in upper floors don't go above 20.5 Celsius no matter what you set in on the thermostat and the fan can be loud if you set it above lowest rate. The accessibility rooms on the first floor however, do take higher temperature setting and are warm enough. Room service is just unacceptable. They may not serve your room even if you request and then may leave other passengers' stained sheets in the room and not make your bed once they do. Check out the photos after the room has been serviced!! On the positive side Internet is better than antiquated WiFi in other Iqaluit hotels with daily coupons but slow none the less.

Not sure about the rooms, the food, or if there is even a pool. I only go there because the bartender is hot and I am lonely.

I stayed there because we got bumped until the next mornings flight, so Canadian north put my two paniks and I in a room. Clean rooms, nice showers, I didn't know how to work the TV so a guy came in and booted it up me which was nice. No room service, and the restaurant food... :/ .... not worth it. Go to the frob , better food! Very friendly front desk lady. Very nice interior decorating.
