Aqua Blu Boutique Hotel + Spa

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. The hotel is stunning elegantly designed, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located right on the beach with breathtaking views. A heartfelt thank you to Clara at the reception for her warmth and attentiveness, to the hotel manager for being so present and gracious throughout our stay, and to Vassili, the incredible F&B manager, who made every meal feel special with his charm, professionalism, and personal touch. The breakfast was delicious, the service outstanding, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful yet luxurious. We can’t wait to come back highly recommended!

Great experience and facilities, attentive staff, small inconvenience in our room was swiftly solved by the very caring hotel manager Kosta. The pool and beach are great. The breakfast is very delicious. Cocktails are really good. Monday barbecue is highly recommend (really really good!) and a great deal for the price if comparing to other offers on the island. Probably the best hotel on the island for adult couples.

Dear Kostas and Team,||As we mentioned to you, this is the very first time in decades of travel that we have stayed in the same hotel twice. And to mark a milestone, we decided to do just that with the Aqua Blu. ||You very kindly greeted us by name upon our late arrival and showed to our beautiful sea view room. The next morning, it was a joy that so many of your staff remembered us from our first stay around 18 months earlier. Sarah at the front desk, Alvin and Elias always remembered us and newcomers Federiki and Angel provided amazing and attentive breakfast and pool service. At the beach, Violeta was always smiling and laughing and wonderful to talk to. Your spa staff were excellent, adeptly recommending treatments tailored to our needs. Just top rate, all around. I know I’m missing a few people, but to a person, every staff member was exceptional. Congratulations to you and your Assistant Manager!||The whole vibe of the hotel is amazing. Relaxed, fun and delicious BBQ nights watching the magnificent sunsets, well priced lunch and snacks, and if you choose, the staff always has excellent Kos town restaurant recommendations to suit your budget. Kos town is a very short 25 minute walk from this amazing and luxurious hotel. ||Kostas, we thank you and your team for a second wonderful stay. Not only is the property beautiful but it has some of the most friendly and attentive staff I have ever experienced as an avid luxury hotel goer! Both the GM and the Assistant GM greeted me during my stay. I arrived in the morning and was offered breakfast while I waited for my room. The sunset view is really unbeatable and the restaurant is classy with live entertainment on some nights. I was there for Greek night and the singer was really talented. My room was fresh and modern with great water pressure, comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the sea - highly recommend direct sea view. The only possible negative was being located on a major road with power lines between hotel and sea. Maybe those can be moved some day. I think it's the same at many hotels here with this view though. However, I am still giving 5 stars because you can easily walk across the street (carefully as there is a curved road) to the sea and I can't say enough about the service!

The handmade breakfast is exceptional. I highly recommend the pancakes; they were perfectly fluffy and served with fresh berries. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the coffee was excellent. Everything tasted incredibly fresh! The staff is so kind and welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal; making the entire experience feel special!

I had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at this hotel. I spent three nights here and it was exactly what I needed — a real break from the noise, stress, and everyday rush. The breakfasts and dinners were great, the bar and pool area were super nice, and the quiet sandy beach felt like a private little escape. Big thanks to all the staff for being so kind and attentive — really made the stay even better.

The Aqua Blu Boutique Hotel is beautiful, well furnished and modern. The view is very beautiful in some places, but restricted in others by a road and a building site. You have to cross this road to reach the hotel's own beach. The road (and a ruined building directly between the beach and the hotel) can also be seen from the pool and the restaurant - if you are looking for an idyllic atmosphere, this is not the place for you. The path to the beach should definitely be improved. It should also be noted that sea view does not always mean sea view in the rooms. Although we had booked a room with a sea view for considerably more money, we were given a room with a view of a field rather than the sea. When asked about this, the hotel explained that there are three categories: side sea view, sea view and direct sea view. If we had wanted a direct sea view, we would have had to pay an extra charge at the hotel. We didn't understand this, as the booking portal only differentiated between side sea view and sea view and we had already paid a surcharge for this. We were very disappointed. A real no-go. But otherwise the room size is good and the bed is comfortable. Unfortunately the shower and bathtub are in one, a separate one would have been desirable, but also not annoying. On a positive note, the hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly (apart from the room problem).

The Aqua Blu is a beautifully designed and stylish hotel. The service is to the highest standard and attention is paid to every detail. Staff don’t wait to be asked, they pre-empt and deal with arrangements before a request is made, always with a smile and a friendly manner. The rooms are contemporary in style and are peaceful, well laid out with all comforts and luxuries needed. One of my favourite hotels in Greece !
