Aqua Blu Boutique Hotel + Spa

Aqua Blu Boutique Hotel + Spa is a fabulous place for the perfect holiday in Kos, it's in the best location for walking, the beach, restaurants and bars. The hotel it's self is top class, from the moment you step through the door you are welcomed by friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. Our room had a seaview, it was large, spacious, spotlessly clean, had the best view for wathing the fabulous sunsets every night. The breakfasts served everything you could wish for, spoilt for choice with excellent service and help yourself facilities. With it also being a Spa we also took advantage, we had lovely relaxing massage and body scubs, the amibience was calming, the aroma of the oils soothing. Aqua Blue has a large outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool you can use for a small fee, a gym that is free to use, you can also have a private pool which is attatched to your room. There are lots of places to sunbathe, a lovely bar area to relax, the beach is private and has toilet facilities and shower. Kos town is a 20-25 minutes away and well worth the walk, the Old Town is little alleyways with lots of shops and restaurants, the Castle to explore and plenty of boat trips. We can't wait to go back and enjoy it all again, can't recommend the Aqua Blu highly enough, fabulous hotel with absolutely fantastic staff and management.

What a gorgeous GEM of a place. ||We came here as a family (myself, my sister and my parents) for our annual relax, and there was no better place to be waited on hand and foot! This hotel is gorgeous - small, intimate and quality. From the delicious food to the amazing service, this hotel is worth every penny if you want a relaxing and laid back holiday. ||Even my mum (the queen of 5* holidays and eternal pessimistic) said that she would come back - RESULT! I think we just unlocked our new favourite place for our annual trip…

We had another amazing holiday at Aqua Blue Spa hotel in Kos / Greece ! It was our second time we went there. On arrival, we had a welcome drink, and in our room we had a lovely note for the returning customers and a bottle of rose wine and a fruit platter , which made us feel welcomed 😀. We spent most if our time in SPA area , swimming , attending sauna and also getting massage treatments . The SPA manager Elena Gueukdjian could not be more helpful than she was ! And she is always so friendly and very approachable! She adviced us on a very good cosmetics / creams to buy ,which they also use at their SPA treatments . My massager Athena Kalimialari was just amazing and so skilled ! She trully made me feeling much younger and healthier ! The whole SPA team just so caring and nice ! They organised a Birthday surprise for me ( hair styling with Stephanie, which was great ! ) together with the Reception team who brought me an amazing cake with a candle ! Thank you to all for making my day a bit more special 💕! We also got an excellent bottle of wine in our room as a present from the hotel too ! Thank you so much ! The view from our direct sea view room was spectacular . The Reception team is excellent and Reception/ Front desk manager Kallia was always so helpful ! Thank you !!! The breakfast team ( Illias , his brother and Frederica and also restaurant manager ) provided us with the top quality service and food ! They are trully doing an amazing job ! Thank you !!! The bell boy Thomas is another member of the hotel team who won our hearts . Always polite and smiling and willing to help ! He is the best 👌! And finally, the hotel manager Kostas Zampetakis knows how to run the hotel very well and is extremely good with the customers ! He was extremely helpful and kind to us when it's needed ! He trully made us feeling coming back again to this lovely hotel in a near future ! Big thank you from Adam and Marina ! I recently spent 3 days at Aqua Blu in Kos to get away for some sunshine. Whilst the weather was indifferent (rain storms, bright sunshine & brutal wind), the hotel wasn't. Aqua Blu is a wonderful small hotel of the world member. ||It is situated on the north east corner of the Island and is a little oasis. The hotel is modern and well designed. It's not massive but then if you want a massive hotel with heaps of guests go to one of the vast number of package holiday hotels !||I stayed in a room looking out inland. It was lovely to see the scenery and was actually sheltered from the wind. The rooms are modern, very comfortable beds and with nice touches e.g., Nespresso, kettle & selection of teas. Free bottled water is given each day and the turn down service makes you feel special. Just be aware the bathroom is quite open plan. So if you are not comfortable with being in full view of your fellow guest, it could be disconcerting. ||I enjoy working out and being on holiday is no different. The gym is good for a hotel with modern equipment and range of TRX, bands and some weights. I did venture further afield and found a local gym which was proper old skool (owned by an ex-Mr Olympia contestant). That said, the gym is perfectly good for a swift workout before sitting by the pool. ||What really brings the hotel to life is its staff. Without exception, they are excellent. From front of house, to dining room to pool side, they are attentive, courteous and friendly. Big shout out to Elias who made sure I never ran out of coffee and always arrived with a smile!||Just be aware it's not the cheapest. But you shouldn't be surprised bearing in mind it's a 5 star hotel. That said, 120 Euro extra for a late check out (from 11am to 6pm) felt steep. ||All in all, a lovely solo stay and I would happily recommend coming here.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. The hotel is stunning elegantly designed, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located right on the beach with breathtaking views. A heartfelt thank you to Clara at the reception for her warmth and attentiveness, to the hotel manager for being so present and gracious throughout our stay, and to Vassili, the incredible F&B manager, who made every meal feel special with his charm, professionalism, and personal touch. The breakfast was delicious, the service outstanding, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful yet luxurious. We can’t wait to come back highly recommended!

I wanted to rate Aqua Blu 4.5/5 but went with the full rating as there were a few nice unexpected touches. ||I booked the airport transfer service which, for sheer ease on a small island with limited transport, was definitely worth it. Arriving late in the evening, tired from travel, the team were very welcoming and offered a glass of Prosecco whilst registration was done for you. Not being able to drink sparkling wine, a fresh lemonade was made for me which was quite refreshing. I was also told that due to my late arrival, a ‘snack’ was left for me in my room. The snack was two delicious wraps which I put in the fridge to eat at a later time.||Breakfast was a choice of a la carte or buffet. Fresh orange juice and water was served. Food was delicious but service was a bit inconsistent. At least once was my table cleared when I went inside to get some fruit. It also took an age to get a coffee most mornings, often arriving mid-way through eating an item ordered off the menu!||I booked a direct sea view room and the view was delightful. There isn’t a door to the bathroom (there is to the toilet) which I personally didn’t like. There also isn’t a lock on the inside of the door which, as a solo traveller I look for, purely for personal security reasons. The room however had all the facilities you would want for a relaxing stay; a Nespresso machine, kettle, safe, robes etc. ||There were no facilities for recycling anywhere in the hotel, not in the room or around the property. The bins in the room were lined with plastic bags and replaced twice daily. This is an area where improvements definitely could be made. I was actually quite shocked as I’ve not seen a hotel in recent years that doesn’t have recycling facilities across the site.||I mixed up my time between the loungers by the pool and the beach. You needed to carefully select the pool loungers if you want all day sun and not hear noise from the (not overly busy) road. The beach loungers are away from the road and are much more relaxing. Violetta who offers a service to beach guests was super friendly & attentive.||All in all, Aqua Blu delivered what I wanted for a relaxing break but there are areas that could do with improvement to make me return.

What an absolutely wonderful boutique hotel Aqua Blu is! It was relaxing the minute we stepped in and were greeted by a welcome drink. The rooms are so comfy - ours with a pool was just stunning, and the staff are all just so warm and welcoming. Drinks, food, coffees, the beach....everything has been just perfect. There is a while world out there to visit but we'd be silly not to return here. Many many thanks, Aqua Blu!

Great experience and facilities, attentive staff, small inconvenience in our room was swiftly solved by the very caring hotel manager Kosta. The pool and beach are great. The breakfast is very delicious. Cocktails are really good. Monday barbecue is highly recommend (really really good!) and a great deal for the price if comparing to other offers on the island. Probably the best hotel on the island for adult couples.
