Never had an opportunity t taste the food here, because my initial experience was so unforgettable.
My friend and I visited this restaurant on February 6th, 2015 and when the waitress came around , ordered 2 glasses of wed wine for starters. When the waitress approached me, she dropped the entire glass of red wine all over me. I WAS SOAKING FROM CHEST TO TOE. Fortunately I was wearing black dress and shoes. The waitress never even apologized and when I mentioned to her that I was actually soaking, she responded that she was soaking too...??????? I couldn't believe it. I was offered nothing to dry up until a bus boy noticed the wine all over the floor about 10 minutes later and offered me some shop rags.
Consequently, the waitress never came back by to ask how we were, OR take our dinner order, so after many attempts, finally got her attention, and summoned her over and asked to speak to her manager, David Smedlund. Well, that was a bad idea. I came over with a complete attitude, and proceeded to defend the waitress claiming that she DID apologized so what was the problem. I then explained to him that just because he doesn't see wine all over me, the very idea that it was spilled on me deserved some type of apology. I then asked for the bill and said to him that I felt that I should be comped for the wine. He started YELLING that I expect to come in to his restaurant and drink for Free (wow!)
By then, he had an audience, and when I didn't respond, loudly exclaimed that I just cant come off the street and expect him to allow me to drink for free. I was soooo embarrassed. Other patrons that saw what happened and actually apologized.
The walk to the car was horrific. I was sticky and very cold as this was a freezing February night. We were going to a party after this occurrence and I smelled like a complete alcoholic.
The pair of shoes that I wore that night were ruined. Just picked them up to wear them to church this morning and noticed the red wine stain has caused it to rot.
I will never , ever visit this place again for any reason....
