Where are luxury travelers booking now? It's not all domestic. - AFAR

"An operator of small luxury expedition ships with multiple full-ship buyouts booked across Indonesia, Vietnam, and Peru; the company reports families committing to upcoming sailings (for example, a California family planned for Komodo), reflecting demand for private-boat experiences that offer controlled environments." - Annie Fitzsimmons

We had such a wonderful experience with Aqua Expeditions Aqua Nera this last week. The service was unbelievable from a staff that all gave their whole hearts and effort to make sure our vacation was memorable. Juliana, the cruise director, and her whole team was amazing!! The food was like eating at a Michelin Star restaurant and the knowledge of all the guides was so educational. I definitely can't wait until my next cruise with this company.

March 2022 - The Amazon. Bravo! Bravo! I would give Aqua Nera, the Captain , Julianna (the cruise director) and staff more stars if I could. What an amazing experience!!! From the moment we arrived the attention to detail was exceptional. The boat, the food (AMAZING!!!!) and staff was beyond our expectations. The day trips out into the Amazon were not only educational, the staff made it fun. From Piranha fishing to a surprise lunch tucked away on the river to swimming to hiking in the jungle and kayaking on the Amazon the trip was so much fun. The grand poo-pah evening was the last night with song and traditional dance, everyone was having such a great time it was hard to say good bye. We loved this experience so much, we're looking at Mekong with friends we met on the boat! And….we love the fact Aqua Expeditions gives back to the local villages and encourages the guests to bring supplies. Giving school supplies and soccer balls to the villagers was a highlight of the trip. The Aqua Nera team did everything to make sure our vacation was memorable I’d say…MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

The Aria Amazon cruise is an unforgettable, luxury adventure. On our 3-day trip, we saw countless beautiful birds and jungle wildlife, including sloths, macaws, monkeys, snakes, piranhas, poison frogs, and the legendary pink dolphins. The naturalist guides who lead you on the excursions are experts at spotting the wildlife and are boundless sources of knowledge, excited to teach you interesting facts about the animals and the Amazon. The crew on board the ship are friendly, helpful, and highly talented. The rooms are so comfortable you might forget you’re on a ship and instead think you’re in a 5-star hotel. The delicious pisco cocktails from the bar and gourmet cuisine from the restaurant will be waiting for you when you get back from the day’s adventures. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves wildlife, is interested in visiting the Amazon, and enjoys unique luxury vacations!

We had a wonderful 7 day Amazon river cruise in Aqua Expeditions’ ship, the Aqua Nera. All aspects exceeded our expectations. The excursions all started via skiffs. The Amazon is incredible. The rain forest is teeming with life. The sounds and species were wonderful. The life in the rivers was also amazing - everything from pink river dolphins to first class birding. Our guides, Marcos, Alex, and Juan Louis were exceptional. All had an enjoyable style in sharing their impressive knowledge of wildlife and history. The ship itself was great. We’ve taken other river cruises on competitive cruise lines (e.g., Nile) and we felt the ship design of the Aqua Nera was better executed than others we have been on. The food was outstanding. Chef Juan Diego is a gem. Every meal had one if not multiple courses that were truly remarkable, and that’s coming from a couple of serious foodies. The local flavors were well balanced and delicious. Juan Louis makes a killer omelette - never over done, with the fixings cooked just right. The staff in the restaurant and bars made a huge difference in how enjoyable our vacation was. It was great interacting with Maximo, Willy, Jesus, and Eduardo. They were positive, informative, and attentive - but never too much. They were there when we wanted them to be and really did a great job feeling out when to lay back and observe - fantastic! We tried a massage in the spa and it was very well done - I got the precise blend of deep tissue and relaxation that I asked for - great. Our room was quite nice. It had a modern feel with a wonderful view out of the floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom facilities were also modern and classy. Our room was very well kept. Oscar did an impeccable job keeping everything clean and tidy with out ever being intrusive - excellent service. And overall, the cruise was very well orchestrated. Our cruise director Ivana kept everything running like clockwork with admirable leadership. Our days were well structured and communicated. We knew what to do and when and what to expect - it never felt chaotic or improvised. Ivana and her front desk leader, Grecia, made everything about the trip feel easy, and that is a considerable accomplishment given all of the moving parts. Great work. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Aqua Expeditions and planning our next cruise with them soon. Recommended in high confidence.

Easily the best travel experience I have every had. 12 stars. I will be going back!!!! We did the Amazon River cruise in the Aqua Nera and the ship itself is GORGEOUS. It was an amazing first impression and things only got better from there. The staff is SO lovely and helpful, they made you feel so at home and I am very grateful to them for making everything perfect. But the food... OH. MY. GOD. I cannot say enough good things about every single meal we had. I was worried about taking my grandma because she is a picky eater, but she loved everything!!!!! The price is worth it for the meals alone. The (optional) expeditions were incredible. Twice daily we would go out on skiffs to see just a crazy amount of animals... lots of dolphins, birds, sloths, bats, frogs, snakes, and more! Guides are very knowledgable and considerate. The Amazon is 100% worth visiting and Aqua Expeditions is the best way to do it!

NO HAGAN TEATRO !!!
