Back here again post-Covid and the food turned for the worse. Was here pre-Covid and had the bestest pizza and Fish & chips (F&C) ever.
Now the pizza menu was taken out and the F&C/seafood platter was poorly done. When served, the deep fried items were dripping with oil. And this is not the first F&C I've eaten in Tasmania. None of the F&C I've eaten so far looked so soaked in oil. The batter was soggy rather than crispy.
Utterly disappointed. Will not be back again if this how the shop sets it's standard. We were the only customers then and I did not notice any customers near dinner time when I passed by. When I was here years ago, it was bustling with customers during dinner service be it weekday or weekend.
Making the effort to write this long post as I hope someone from their shop sees this and does something about it. This shop was a core memory of my trip years ago and it's sad to see it go down like that.
Other than that service was still alright, nothing outstanding. Unfortunately there was no sunshade when the sun shone in.
The plus was probably the drawing paper and colour pencils they provide to occupy kids with.
