AQUA Hotel Bertran Park

Far above expectations for the budget holiday we had booked. Room was excellent and the breakfast buffet superb, with delicious real orange juice and a wide choice of food. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help resolve an issue when our return boarding passes did not arrive. Convenient location for bus station and the town.

The Aqua hotel is situated in the middle of the town and is in a block by itself. Due to the small single roads around it you are dropped off about 8 mins walk away. This could be a problem for elderly or disabled travellers. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The pool is only small and not many sunbeds. In the hight of summer I could see problems. However, in October no issues. I wouldn't expect families with young children holidaying here as it is really just for adults. The rooms were of good size, but the fridge was small and not very big. The bar staff were happy to supply ice for drinks on the balcony. But being surrounded by other large buildings there was no real view to be had. We were bed and breakfast and the food was really good. A great breakfast selection and of good quality. The bus station is not too far as too a trip to Gerona. Lots of shops and bars nearby and only about 15 mins walk to the beach. There is a large supermarket just round the corner. Half the price of the smaller local ones. Would I stay again, yes. I thought it was good value for money and had a good night's sleep every night with a n excellent breakfast. One minor issue was that the WiFi was not very powerful.

I stayed here for 2 nights as a solo on September 20th and I loved the hotel it's like a boutique hotel so first impressions where very good then I seen my room and I was amazed it was gorgeous and big I had a sofa in front of a big tv which unfortunately didn't have any british channels but didn't bother me as you don't really spend much time in the room anyway. Bed was comfy so much so I slept in on my first morning and missed breakfast haha the shower was amazing too there is a hair dryer but as a bald man i didn't use it. Food in the restaurant was lovely there isn't a massive selection but there is enough to choose from was never disappointed you can get food in the bar pizzas, chips burgers etc I didn't have any but looked really really nice. The staff where so lovely and friendly always smiling and saying hello. The poop area is small but never had any issue getting a sunbed, it was kept lovely to was like a world away from outside the walls. Overall fantastic loved it so much I'm going back with my fiance on the 4th Oct for her birthday and I can not wait to get back if you want brilliant, chilled, friendly, relaxing then get it booked.

This hotel is fabulously situated as close to all amenities. Pool area is a decent size and quite the sun trap. Rooms are fairly decent but could do with a freshen up. Our room was to the back of the hotel. Avoid if you can as the road that runs past it is quite noisey and busy at peak times including night street cleaning.

Recently spent 3 nights in Aqua Hotel Bertran Park on a Full Board basis. I was travelling as part of a group and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and quality of rooms and food. I particularly want to mention Mary Carmen in the restaurant who made us feel so welcome and was always happy to accommodate our requests where she could. I did find the pool area to be a little bit lacking, especially with several sunbeds being ‘saved’ with towels but remaining empty for hours, however the location and proximity to the beach and town centre was ideal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

i really enjoyed staying at this hotel. the staff were friendly especially the bar staff. our room was always clean and the cleaners were friendly to. me and my friend are both very picky and we thought the food was good for us. the pools abit chilly but it was nice to cool down. not really enough sunbeds around the pool but was close to the beach so that was a good alternative

my friends and i came to this hotel for a long weekend, i’ve broke down my review into sections as there was only one part that really let the hotel down.||room / decor / cleanliness: room was lovely, hotel is decorated nicely and the hotel was kept clean. beds were comfortable. one thing i would recommend, although there are hairdryers in the room they aren’t very powerful so i’d recommend still bringing your own.||food and drink: very good, we had breakfast included and it was good quality and variety, service was efficient and everything was good standard. we did notice that the ingredients of cocktails seemed to change depending on which bar staff were on shift. they were always nice but not always what you were expecting to get. ||location: the hotel is well situated close to shops, bars clubs and restaurants, and the beach.||staff / customer service: other than one member of bar staff and one reception staff Saleh, it was the customer service of the staff that let this hotel down. i normally will tell a hotel directly if i have a problem with the service, however the hostile behaviour of the staff made me feel unable to do so. i complete understand that hotels have to have rules and agree that those rules should be respected. my issue is the manner in which those rules were enforced. we witnessed staff speak to guests in an rude and overly harsh tone which was unnecessary for the gravity of the issue e.g. jumping into the pool or drinking a drink they hadn’t bought from the hotel. it set an uncomfortable atmosphere for trying to relax on holiday. we also felt that there were different standards for different guests. we were reminded on multiple occasions again in a rude manner about quietness at night time, however we were disturbed several times by other people in the hotel being loud at unreasonable hours which staff seemed to do nothing about. we also noticed staff leave the hotel to tell guests who were on the street to stop being loud which seemed unreasonable. ||in conclusion, staff attitudes have let the hotel down and it will put off customers from returning. i’ve noticed that this is a common theme in hotel reviews so know it is not a me problem, it is a problem with the staff.

A wonderful boutique hotel in the old part of Lloret de Mar. The rooms are modern and very well equipped. Comfortable beds and great shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Lots of choice. The evening buffet is good value for €19 which includes a soft drink. The pool area is good for a city hotel. Easy walk to the beach and shopping area. The entire hotel is very modern and clean and made for a very relaxing stay.
