Beautiful Presentation, But the Food Doesn’t Match the Price — and Portions Are Small
Visited this Japanese restaurant recently and left with mixed impressions. The venue is stylish, the ambiance is elegant, and the presentation of the dishes is truly beautiful — everything looks high-end and carefully arranged.
However, when it comes to the taste and value, the experience didn’t meet expectations. While the food looks impressive, the flavors were quite bland and forgettable. It felt like the kitchen focused more on appearance than on delivering a rich, satisfying taste.
Another big downside was the portion size — the dishes were very small, especially considering the premium prices. For what you pay, you’d expect either exceptional taste or at least more generous servings. Sadly, it delivered neither.
To be honest, even Eat Tokyo, which is known as a more casual and affordable chain, serves better-tasting food, and with more substantial portions. It’s surprising, because this restaurant clearly aims to position itself as a more high-end spot.
There’s definitely potential here — the atmosphere and presentation are great. But for now, it feels like style over substance. I’d love to return in the future if the flavors improve and the value becomes more balanced.
