This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve experienced.
While the property may appear acceptable at first glance, the reality quickly became clear: this hotel is poorly managed, severely understaffed, and fails to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
Upon arrival, we immediately notified staff that our room had no adequate cooling. We were explicitly told the ceiling fans would be turned on and that, if necessary, additional fans would be provided. Neither of those actions ever occurred. Despite repeated follow-ups, the issue was never resolved.
When I followed up with the receptionist, she admitted she assumed the issue had been handled because maintenance never reported back to her—an unacceptable breakdown in communication that ultimately fell on the guest to manage.
Service throughout the stay was slow, unresponsive, and disorganized, with staff stretched across multiple roles. At one point, the front desk agent was also responsible for working the kitchen located down by the beach—at least a 10-minute walk away—making timely assistance at the front desk nearly impossible.
To make matters worse, the pool area was in a shocking state. The pool was not cleaned, and there was visible feces on the ground near the pool area. This is a serious hygiene and safety concern and should never occur at a hotel charging guests for accommodations.
Due to the unresolved conditions, we were instructed by staff to leave and were told we would receive a full refund or, at minimum, a refund for one night. Since then, attempts to contact management have gone unanswered.
This experience demonstrated a complete lack of accountability, basic cleanliness, and customer care. I would strongly caution future guests and would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made to both operations and management.
