Had a great time in the AirBnB here. Absolutely amazing location right next to convenient bus stops. Super close to 7/11 and Island Marketplace. Pool was never crowded with also access to a BBQ. Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Clean room & very enjoyable stay!! Even on the second floor, we still had an incredible view out our window!

The staff (specifically Kasey) was so helpful and friendly! The value for this place was exceptional - the location was great (walkable to nearly everything in Waikiki coming from a person who enjoys talking), the beds were really comfortable, there was a fridge/microwave, we didn't hear other guests walking around above us or next door. The air conditioning was great! We loved having a balcony with a beautiful city view. There is a water machine downstairs, which saved us on buying our own. We were able to extend our check out time to 6pm for an extra fee for our 9pm flight, so it really felt like we got whole extra day in. Truly a wonderful experience. We are grateful!

The were no ceiling lamps, the curtains were dirty, there’s was a bad smell in the room, breakfast and wifi weren’t even included as if it wasn’t the bare minimum. The only good thing about the hotel was the view other than that, I don’t recommend booking here especially for a family trip!! There were also some renovations that we weren’t aware about.

Google
The location is excellent, as is the vicinity of the ABC store; I thought the hotel outdated, and the parking positively scary (steep, tight curves between floors, tiny spaces). Desultory gym (3 old machines, heaviest weights 20 lb). On the top of that, when I arrived the two kind ladies at the reception gave me a room next to the elevator shaft; took me a while to figure out the noise. I was able to change the room but still ....

Let's say that you want -- or need -- to be at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, but it's booked or too expensive or something. And you don't need luxury. only a clean room. This is the place for you. You might consider the Courtyard by Marriott. That's in the same price range and gives Bonvoy points! It is closer to the shops and restaurants of Waikiki but further from the Hilton and the beach. ||So there we have it. The rooms are nice although not huge. The lobby is basic. The Island Deli (a division of the ubiquitous ABC stores) is right next door and is one of the best ABC-type locations for food, souvenirs and misc. sundries.||There was construction going on when i was there. I've been slow to post this review and I hope it's finished by now!

Google
Great location with views of Diamondhead and the beach. 5-minute walk to the beach and 10-minute walk to the main areas of Waikiki. Convenient market right next to the hotel. And a parking garage! Be warned that the parking garage is super narrow though. Not great for larger vehicles.

Steven Loosle

Google
There was renovations going on that we were not told about. So I had to deduct up star because of that. It's a less expensive hotel on Waikiki and you get what you pay for. Very happy to be here This is exactly what we were looking for. Do not park a large SUV here. There's an extra charge that we were not told about when we booked the room, resort fee.

Awesome hotel to stay in since its it middle of everywhere. Great place for tourist attraction. I would definitly come back here for my next day. Every Fridayn there is a fireowork show that everyone can see and experience, It is such an awesome thing to see.

Yelp
I only had to stay here one night amidst international travel-- the staff were so eternally helpful. Allowed for early check-in and late check-out. Rooms were very clean and well stocked. Had no issues getting uber eats to my hotel room directly. They also let me check out a towel for the beach even AFTER my stay was done (as my plane leaves late at night) Super sweet staff and close to the ocean. 10/10 in my books! Will definitely be staying here again!

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and for the price it can't be beat. Now it does have a mixture of AirBnB and regular hotel rooms but they are all the same, just managed differently. The location was near everything but I docked a star off because of the loud noise. Also because of the parking situation. It is a nightmare getting in and out. With that said, parking was included with my room at no additional fee. If you are on a budget but you still want quality I can't recommend this hotel enough. It is the best price that you're going to get in this area and quality. Search for MrBucketlist Aqua Palms Waikiki on youtube for my full video review.

Yelp
Great location. Water & coffee in the lobby & the Island Country market is next door. You'll find inexpensive yummy food & coffee counter with the best breakfast sandwiches there.

Yelp
Upon arrival you need to buzz in for parking. If you have a VRBO reservation you probably have a reserved parking spot, if not it is first come first serve on spots above the reserved parking areas. Be extremely care making the turns as it can be extremely tight and not all vehicles are made the same, turn as tight, or are parked and tucked in as the should be. There are signs of people's vehicles scraping both pillars on each turn. Don't add to it! Parking (if not reserved is $35 a day plus tax. There is a pool on the second floor open 9am to 9pm. With an exercise room also on the floor open 7am to 9pm. There is a tiny utility closet on each floor with a trash can to drop your trash in, but obviously it can fill fast as it's not a chute or large bin and it's for the entire floor. Self-service laundry on level P3A for $2 a wash/dry with credit card only. Soap/dry sheets are $2 quarters only. The sheet I got on check-in says open 24/7, but the sign in the area says 7am-10pm. ‍ Hakuyosha dry cleaning service is available M-F 8am to 5pm. Same day service is available, dropoff form (available at front desk) at the front desk before 8am and pick-up after 6pm. Note: if you reserved through VRBO or something similar you probably do not get cleaning service, so keep that in mind as you prepare for your trip as you may need to bring some supplies or buy at the ABC Store.

Yelp
Just stayed one night at this hotel but would have gladly spent my entire vacation here. It may not have been directly on the water but it was within walking distance and well centralized to everything. As soon as we checked it it was smooth city. The lobby was festively decorated for Christmas and the reception was very cheerful and warm. Lobby was clean. Room was clean, spacious and perfect for two. Room was equipped with a fridge, coffee maker and hair dryer. Loved that the shower offered full sized body wash, conditioner and shampoo that smelled yummy and made my hair feel soft. Hotel was pretty quiet at night. There's an IHop next door and a Korean restaurant a hop and a skip away. Various other stores including a McDonalds and ABC store within walking distance. Rented a car through Hui and it was parked in a garage 2 blocks away which was totally convenient! Would stay here again and will recommend to all my friends and family. Mahalo!

Yelp
This spot is right in the middle of all the bustle of the city. Walking distance from the beach, restaurants and gift shops. Large shopping mall not too far away either. Prices are good but no amenities are offered other than parking and complimentary coffee in the morning which is more than fine for the price. Your parking spot is designated before you even arrive, please be aware that the garage is narrow and very steep please be careful driving and parking ALWAYS. Ice is offered about every other floor and a small pool is on one of those levels too. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Smoking spot right outside the hotel to the left, right past the IHOP. This place was very enjoyable I hope to come again if I ever come back to Oahu

Yelp
Great location, very friendly staff. The rooms are clean. Parking is good. We have stayed here multiple times especially as locals.

Paul B.

Yelp
The place is decent. Close to almost everything. You have MacDonalds around the corner about 100m walk away along with subway if you don't feel like paying tips that you constantly get from the other food outlets. But there are decent restaurants near by as well as the beach roughly 300m walk away. The only let down is they hold your deposit for over a month sometimes more. I've chased them multiple times to release my deposit but to no reply. But when having to ask for anything relating to services which we will have to pay more on top, they are so quick to respond. I would think carefully about staying here.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room service was impeccable and precise. There are two beds in a room, plenty of space, and a television as well. There were special discounts for government workers when we bought the rooms. Would definitely recommend it!

Tina D.

Yelp
This hotel is not clean at all! They have roaches everywhere and I was extremely upset. I got booked with an Airbnb and wasn't aware of the hotel until before I boarded my plan, prior to check in. Never again!!!!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. We stayed four nights and had an amazing time. This place is in a great location, just a six-minute walk to the Hilton Lagoon and about a ten-minute walk to a park next to more of Waikiki Beach. It is also a two-minute walk to the local market, with amazing food and souvenirs. The service was very professional and welcoming. The rooms are very clean, and the balconies are a huge plus. Room service every other day is perfect for all the sand you're going to track back from the beach. We will definitely stay here again! My husband and I plan on visiting Honolulu again and will be staying here! Also, it's a five-minute walk to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, perfect if you decide to go for a drive around the island.

Yelp
Fun birthday weekend/ staycation at the Aqua Palms Waikiki. Reserved online and was pleased a room was available during the busy holidays, we were so lucky! Visitors & Kama'aina's to get to the Aqua Palms make sure to pass the IHOP Restaurant then take a short right up to the steep ramp entrance. Since it was our first time staying at this hotel we couldn't find the parking entrance. Yikes!! Next, from the speaker box Inform the front desk that you have a reservation, then the gate will rise and let you in. There's a kinda steep hill to drive up to but it's okay. Parking is $25 a day & available on a first come, first served basis. Per front desk okay to park anywhere except in the reserved stalls. Rooms are clean and comfortable and there's also a self service laundromat. IHOP Restaurant located on the ground floor and Waikiki is there to explore! Will definitely visit again, we had a nice weekend. A Hu'i Hou Aqua Palms Waikiki!

Yelp
I was pumped to get to hawaii but when I got to the Palms, ya boy was shook. I was greeted by some homeless peeps trying to beat me up but was able to quickly get inside. I gave it a second chance and made my way to my room. The room stank, and looked like the last paint job was during Pearl Harbor. All our rooms felt like humid saunas. But hey you get free dvd rentals! (For $35 a day).

Yelp
After years off the Island, have to say our stay was full of Aloha Spirit, Check in to Check out was extremely easy, we had a room on the 11th floor which and a Awesome view of Diamond Head and surrounding areas.. Room was nice and had a mini Fridge, Microwave and coffee pot,,,, not sure if all the rooms are the same...... The only issue and somewhat a challenge is with the bathroom door which is against shower/bath and parking extremely steep and very Tight, if you need a rental MAKE SURE ITs midsize or Compact size.. Food options are countless, IHOP on bottom floor, Mc Ds 3 min walk, Food trucks 5 min walk awesome Grinds/ Ala Moana 10 min walk Food Court is amazing ... Beach 5 min walk... TY Staff for another Awesome Visit... See ya in mts to come.... Mahalo

Yelp
no, nope, never again Photos are really deceiving. This property is dated , dirty and loud. I booked through Priceline, so when I checked in I was surprised to hand over my credit card and be charged $30 a day plus taxes for amenities ? I never used the pool, I could see it out my window, always full of small children with big blow up toys. Carpets were filthy, AC made the bed damp, dirty walls, someone smashed something on the wall, and it's still there , scuff marks on the wall near the bed, someone's brown hair stuck on the bathroom door, shower floor omg. But there's something happening in 405 , the noise that comes from the left side of the window, curtains, starts with a snap then continues on as if there's something in the walls, scratching, cracking , it's often and it's loud. Manager needs to stay here one night. I had four. Shame on you.

Yelp
Perfectly situated and recently renovated this hotel offers great rooms at a great price for Waikiki. With a balcony and beautiful blue sea view, King sized bed, quality fittings and linens, beautiful artwork, plenty of hot water, and friendly staff we were extremely satisfied with our 2 night stay. Easy walking distance to the beach, Starbucks, plenty of restaurants and bars, and Ala Moana Mall. We stayed in room 912 and it was fantastic. There is a water station in reception so you can refill your water bottles, video rental there too, and check in is 3pm, checkout 12 noon. Do yourself a favour and book this hotel.

Yelp
I stayed there twice the first time was in May of 2022 and everything went good. So I went back there during my honeymoon trip; however, this time I started to get bites everyday after I wake up. I stayed there for a week and only found out it was bed bugs bite into our 4th night. We went to the front desk at 2 am when we found out. The front desk people were helpful and nice about it and let us change the room. BUT NOW I HAVE BED BUGS IN MY HOUSE! Avoid this place at all cost. Not to mention you have pay $35 a night for a parking that is to tiny and difficult to go up and down the garage.

Janette B.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying they had done renovations over covid in the past 3 yrs & I'm very impressed after coming back too see big improvements. Check in was a breeze in & out within 5 mins. Went up to the room to clean & comfortable beds (slept like a baby the 2 nights we stayed) Love that they have ice machines on certain floors, water at the lobby too.. Housekeeping & front dest was always on it when asked for extra bath towels etc. Thank you guys for working so hard. My family & I will be back.

Sharika M.

Yelp
The location of this hotel is in the heart of Waikiki- the city. It's super close to the H1 highway and nearby malls and restaurants. That being said, if you're looking for WFH views, this is not it. The area looks like Miami. The rooms are spacious and the bed is super comfortable. We found bugs in our room 3 out of 8 days we stayed. They looked like mini cockroaches? They also charge an amenity fee but then would get stingy when you asked for supplies. For example, I asked for 6 beach towels and they questioned why 6 when it's only 2 of us. There's no limit written anywhere. I needed extra towels to sit on at the beach and use in our rental car.

Angela C.

Yelp
A bit disappointed though I have to admit, the price was good. When we got there the hallway AC on our floor was broken and there was a dank smell that lingered the hallways. It was scary to breathe the air because, it smelled like mold from the AC. In the room, the floors were dirty and had hair all over the floor as if someone tried to mop and left the dirt on the side of the bathroom. The entrance and the bathroom was dark and the vent was loud when you turned on the light. I gave 3stars because the bed was clean, and the front desk people were nice. There was also parking always available. It was walking distance to Waikiki Beach and cool restaurants. But I'd hope to avoid this place next time if I can afford it.

Nancy M.

Yelp
Lovely time clean and comfortable. Great customer service. Staff was very attentive and kind. Mahalo

Yelp
I did not care for this hotel at all!!!! Major concern...security! They share the parking garage with IHOP. Restaurant guests are to park on floor 3P. 1. Why is there no security scanner on the elevator to prevent non-hotel guests from getting to guest floors? 2. Why is the self-service laundry room in the parking garage...on the 3P floor....open for anyone to get into? 3. We got on the elevator with some guy, who OBVIOUSLY was not a hotel guest. He had been to the beach.....he got off on the 2nd floor (which is the floor with the pool). We had ran upstairs to our room to grab something....came right back down, it wasn't even five mins. We get in our car, pull out the stall and this guy rolls up behind us on his skateboard exiting through the parking garage!!!! Ok, other issues...you charge a service fee of $25/day...whether your customer uses the items available or not...then $26/day for self-service parking. On their site, they tote themselves as a 5-star class....NOT! They do not have room service, if you want clean towels/wash clothes you have to go to the front desk. They only clean the room upon check out. At least the room was clean and we didn't see any critters. The room was renovated to an extent with new decor and the bed was comfortable, but the toilet is way too low to the ground, old shower head that didn't spray right, the aerator in the sink sprayed in streams which would be fitting for a deeper sink, because the sink is not that deep, water sprayed all over the place! I was seriously disappointed with this place...but hey, you get what you pay for!

Mari E.

Yelp
I booked this hotel through Expedia. Before my arrival, I had asked some questions through the concierge who is specialized for Expedia user and I was very comfortable and pleased with their quick kind reply. Even I used the cheapest room, what I got was very large and looked just renovated one. I was so happy when I entered the room. But I noticed something different from my experience. The bathroom was very very big. 6 hand rails around bath tub and sliding door between bedroom and bathroom. No closet. Then I thought this would be for wheelchair accessible room. So neat! However I changed my mind...if so, why this room is located the farest from the elevator? It doesn't make a sense, right? For me, it was totally fine but when I think about those disability people, I would be upset. The toilet water was running constantly and it was hot water. So when I closed the toilet cover to shut down the sound, the steam stay inside and I got wet when I sat next time. Unfortunately I needed to open the cover always. So strange experience again. Check in and check out was smooth. I booked the shuttle to the airport in advance. $14/person. Cheap! But the bellboy misunderstood 7am and 7pm. My original booking was 7pm. I didn't miss it but if it was opposite, yes I would miss my flight. Please double check the time and come back to the hotel at least 10 min before the shuttle comes.

Katlin M.

Yelp
Stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. AC worked great . The rooms and shower were small but it was just what we needed for our stay. Parking is tight n expensive $37 a night but rooms were inexpensive for the location we were staying at. Overall a good stay for the price n location. Enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Leona C.

Yelp
I rate 4 because the shift manager on duty this weekend was very helpful. On Friday night we checked in and was locked out of our room for over half an hour. I tried calling front desk numerous times and kept getting redirected to a person that wasn't even on the state. When I finally got thru after over 5 minutes the lady at the front desk said she will send someone up with the right key. We waited over 10 minutes and nobody so I proceeded to go down to get a new one. The next morning I went to complain because being locked out of a room for that long was unacceptable. That's when I met Paulo and I can't remember his name that was with him but they were very helpful in taking care of us. Paulo took very good care of us for the rest of the weekend.

Christopher F.

Yelp
Gross So the hotel has no hot water. I called them at 6am and let them know. They don't have a solution. So I got to take a nice ice cold shower. The headboard has some greasy handprints all over it. Which gives you a glimpse of the things that have recently taken place here. Also found what I'm guessing is blood on the blanket. Eww I'm leaving this hotel feeling very unclean. Never again. I'll pay an extra 100 a night to never have this experience again.

Crystal G.

Yelp
Now as soon as you book a room with Airbnb there right there to help you every step of the way. They ask you to keep a line of communication open. Well you don't have to tell me twice. We weren't happy with our accommodations and we politely voiced our opinion. I was a little upset that there wasn't parking in the add clearly said that there would be. She gladly switched our rooms and upgraded me for no cost to a room that had parking. I keep calling this a Christmas miracle. She upgraded us to a room that is $229 a night. We were beyond happy! From Wednesday till the day we left let's just say our whole vacation felt different after this point ! I'm so grateful to you violet. I definitely think it's a way better option to go with Airbnb's. Now this is a hotel but some of the rooms are owned by Airbnb. Actually the room that we stayed in was for sale. So in case you're wondering what properties like in Hawaii here you go. Once again thank you Violet & Kelly for taking such good care of us in Waikiki Honolulu. God bless you. Happy holidays Melé Kalikimaka

Elvira M.

Yelp
Stayed here for a quick weekend trip and booked two rooms. They let us check in early when we arrived since the rooms were ready at no extra charge. There is parking connected to the building so it fairly easy to get around if you bring a car. Only downside to the parking space is how steep the entrance and exits are. Parking was a $35 fee for every day you used it but you can go in and out. They have a pool on the second floor and it's usually not too busy. Staff was friendly and were even able to refund my card for a charge of 3 people when only 2 people stayed in the room. It's within walking distance to the beach and maybe closer to 25 min walk to the main stores in Waikiki. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
If 0 stars were an option, that is what I would give this nightmare property. This hotel ruined my Hawaii dream vacation. I booked 2 rooms, one for my elderly parents, and one for myself and kids. At the time of check in, the AC did not work properly in either room. My parents room was able to be fixed quickly, but my room was not. I was told that even though I booked a room with 2 queen beds, the best they could do on the first night was to put my family in a room with 1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed. The next day I was relocated to a room on a different floor with the 2 beds I booked and a mostly functioning AC. Unfortunately, there were 2 live roaches crawling around the bathroom sink. I was told there are no other rooms available when I complained about the roaches. On the 3rd night of our stay my parents discovered live roaches in their bathroom as well. On the 5th night of our stay the AC stopped working in my parents room at 2AM. It was able to be fixed by 5AM, after their night of sleep had been completely wrecked. If you are from the mainland U.S., you cannot over-value a working AC in Hawaii in June. The average temp is 80 and the humidity is very high. This hotel also charged me $40 per night to park my rental in their garage, but they reserve most spaces, and especially the best spaces for residents of the building. Aqua Palms does not control all of the rooms in this building. They only have some rooms on some floors. The rest are occupied by residents. These residents made sure to let us know they do not like or appreciate tourists in their building. The pool is small, has a slick bottom, and was always full of children that either live in, or know someone who lives in the building. All of these complaints were brought to the attention of the front desk staff, and nothing changed. No refunds or alternate accommodations were offered. Please save your vacation or your money and stay somewhere else for your vacation. This place is terrible. Overall, this hotel was so bad I really am exploring my legal options to compensate for the stress and suffering my family experienced on what should have been the best vacation of our lives. Hawaii is beautiful, and so much fun, but this hotel is dreadful.

Yelp
Things I need to mention size, cleaning, parking, and location. These rooms are small and not as spacious as the pictures on their website depict. We had three women sharing one room, it was a tight fit. If you are a bigger person it might be hard to close the bathroom door. You cannot choose the room you would like when you make reservations. I called them after I booked online and they told me that they give you the room that is available when you check in. I think that's weird because I need to know what I'm paying for. There is a $30 daily resort fee that you pay after the stay. When we checked in they informed us that they only clean every 7 days-wtf. They said that we could request it if needed. We were only staying 6 nights so we never request a cleaning. We did need to request a roll of toilet paper everyday. We had to request towels the very first day because the water pressure in this building is really hard. When we took showers, the water sprayed all over the bathroom. We came with a group of twenty people, their rooms were had the same water pressure. The hotel website said that these rooms were recently renovated. I do not think this is true, I felt like our room needed a deep cleaning. So parking is $37 a night. The entrance is very steep and the parking spots and turns to go to each level is really tight, like really tight. The hotel is in a really good location, close to shopping and the beach. It's is right across from the Hilton ( super nice). Fort DeRussy park is a short walk and the best part, they have pickle ball courts. The front of this hotel does not have a driveway. You have to load and unload in the middle of street.

Yelp
If I could give this hotel a 0/5 stars, I would. Check in was fine but it was all downhill from there. Next, you are greeted by the chaos that is the elevators.. one is broken and the other two move so unbelievably slow, waiting for 10-15 minutes is standard.. suggestion #1 if you stay here, ask for a lower level floor and just take the stairs. If you have a city view room, it's not a great view anyway.. The hallway to our room smells and has many stains in the carpet. Also, don't be shocked if you walk by rooms that have notices for pest control services for the upcoming day.. that's a promising sign, especially based on other reviews. Walk into the room and it is very small and poorly laid out. The curtains have holes in them which contradict their black out purpose. The ceiling is tiles, some of which are broken and discolored, one is even being held in place by a Macy's gift card. The air conditioning is horrendous and barely works. Then you walk into the bathroom.. there are brown spots/stains all over the mirror, walls and ceiling. A very poorly patched hole in the door and the tissue box has been sitting on the counter for so long that when I tried to move it I would have had to rip the box that was basically attached to the counter at this point.. not very promising with the COVID situation going on.. a used for who knows how long tissue box, perfect. Yet there is no room service because of COVID. Hmmm... I spilled some sunscreen on the tile flooring. I went to clean it up and the floor is so disgustingly dirty that who knows when it was last moped. Part of me wants to ask for cleaning supplies at this point to clean this room myself. I feel dirty being here at this point. We are on day 3 of 10 and have seriously considered going elsewhere for the remainder of our trip.. to be honest would probably be worth it. Comparing this hotel to others around, I guess you get what you pay for but honestly, I don't believe you even get that. I expect a clean and well maintained room for the price and the additional "resort" fee that is charged and did not get even close to that. Do yourself a favor and just book somewhere else. You won't regret avoiding this place. Disclaimer, I did not pick this hotel. Lol

Zhibek S.

Yelp
In that place you will feel yourself like poor man. the blankets in the room are three incomprehensible sheets with holes. maybe it's because we took the cheapest room. for $1200 a week? Terrible quality shampoos and conditioners. no everyday cleaning, no fresh towels. Also the elevator doesn't work, you have to wait for the elevator for 10-15 minutes every time. and go 10 people at a time. beds are not safe for people with infants and toddlers, beds are too high and the baby constantly falls out of bed.

Katelyn K.

Yelp
First thing, parking is awful. The garage had plenty of spaces to park since it wasn't that busy but if it were, there probably wouldn't be much room. I'd say over half of the spaces on P1 and P2 are reserved (never went to P3). To get in the garage it's like a rollercoaster and we could barely see over the top of the car because it's so steep. To go onto another level the turns are super narrow and you can see where people have ran into the corners when turning. The rooms could have been cleaner, I found hair in the shower which really grossed me out. There were a few handprints on the headboard. If you have the money to go somewhere else I would. This was a last minute staycation so we didn't need anything too fancy but if we were on vacation here I'd want something nicer. There is a resort fee that's not included in the total price when booking (Expedia). It's $35ish? Per day. Parking is also around the same. Waikiki beach is around a 20 minute walk. There's plenty of restaurants near by to walk to. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Wasn't a bad stay at all.

Yelp
Unfortunately we are here for a week. 2nd damn morning we had a ROACH! They offered to come spray the room. 1 night of reimbursement of resort fee which is like $28! Nothing else no accommodation for a nights stay or maybe a food voucher for Ihop. I should've read the reviews. Check in clerk was a awesome. 3 elevators that take forever. The inside of this hotel looks like the old Motel 6's from before 2010 worth about $50 a night. The location is why the price here is higher then it's worth. Hallways smell terrible they should get those WALL AIR FRESHENERS! Beds are okay. Ac works fine. Slippery hardwood floor. The partial view is nice but not worth the up charge. Plumbing issues 2 days in a row. (Got fixed but still) Really small bathrooms. Never again. My husband & family members will also be writing reviews. Hopefully they read these reviews so I can give a POSITIVE UPDATE!

Yelp
Customer service 5/5 Pros: 5/5 fridge-freezer, microwave oven, coffee/tea station, access to outdoor balcony, Ihop diner is attached to hotel, outdoor pool and walking distance to beach at Waikiki. Driving is not as stressful as some speculated to and out to our destinations. I cant praise enough for the crew of the hotel-simply helpful and smiling. The hotel stay was comfortable, room is clean and grandeur view of the ocean and the mountain landscape. The pool was kid friendly and safe - my kids had so much water fun there. Wifi is exceptional stable and no drop connection. Love this hotel.

Yelp
Could've gotten another star but the white guy at the front desk was a dick. Checking in went smoothly . I was here for one night for my 30th bday (moved to my timeshare the day after) and requested a free upgrade in which the gentleman who checked me in did provide a partial ocean view instead of the city view I was originally booked for . I believe our room number was 1102 don't quote me though. They charged a $28 resort fee for "amenities" which I kindly asked to waive bc the pool wasn't open, I didn't use their WiFi , didn't rent the DVD , didn't have coffee in the morning (after traveling 16 hours I slept in) and used NONE of the amenities. The man looked at me and replied with sarcasm and was very rude . Instead of arguing I finally agreed to let him charge the $28 although it was completely unfair. Figured I'd dispute it w/ my card company.

Yelp
Location is great and close to everything walking or driving. Only down side is the parking garage ramp turns and stalls are "tight". You almost have to take the turns at 90° to make the turns. The wall corners have tons of battle scars. And at night when there are limited stalls left, you better have a small car, skills, a spotter, good luck, a prayer, your stars aligned and good insurance. You are going to have figure out how the heck are you going to wedge your car in between a car on one side and a concrete column on the other side with very little room to maneuver and a very small margin of error. Am I exaggerating? No.

Yelp
The hotel was great, room clean and updated. There was enough parking spaces but parking itself was very tight, narrow driveways.

Yelp
Decent place for the money, but these are not honest people. A kind stranger returned my wallet to me to the hotel with contents fully intact and the staff stole the cash out of it before they sent it. I tried calling and emailing but staff management would not return any text, calls or emails to me. Don't stay here.

Yelp
Although hotel clarks are all very nice and polite, I'll probably stay away from this hotel next time because we were greeted by 5~6 roaches one night when we came back from the dinner. They promptly changed the room for us and I didn't see any roaches since then. But the experience really was disgusting.

Yelp
The parking situation unsatisfied. First come first serve with most already reserved. Tight fit for standard sedans. The entrance will give you an anxiety attack. I had pickup towels from the front desk as well as sheets. Staff was nice.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my stay here. Had a good sized room. The team were accommodating by letting us have a early check in and 4 am check out. Knowledgeable about the area. The facilities (pool, laundry, vending machines) were all fine. Handy location with some neat little bars and restaurants nearby. With an ihop downstairs (good luck getting in) and and an ABC around the corner. The beach is literally 5 mins walk and it's 10 mins stroll to ala moana centre. Most pick up spots for tours are stones throw away and the trolley bus (pink line) stops there.

Yelp
I've been a regular staycationer here over the last decade. I love this small boutique hotel. Aqua Palms recently renovated again which keeps the rooms looking modern. It is hard to tell from the outside that this place really is a little gem. Nadia checked us in late tonight and was quick to process our parking pass, activate room keys and explain the amenities. I appreciate her being quick yet thorough and still friendly since she was aware we were tired and ready to get to bed. The hotel also communicates via text so it's easy to ask questions or express concerns if needed. There is a pool with a grill to BBQ. The pool is small but that is my preference vs a crowded resort and a pool full of people soup.

Yelp
Hotel room is great. My only problem was the parking. There probably is only 8 oversized stalls to park in for bigger vehicales. The thing that pissed me off was being that there aren't much stalls for full sized cars but I seen employees with small cars parking there. Like really so now I have to park off property because my car won't fit in the stalls. So unprofessional especially knowing there aren't that many stalls for full size cars.

Yelp
Good thing? They have a military discount and are affiliated (sort of) with the Hale Koa, so they will take off the daily Resort Fee. Bad Thing? It's the Aqua Palms Waikiki. :( - Located next to one of the busiest and loudest intersection in Waikiki. If you love loud noises, honking, loud music from cars, and yelling, then this is the place for you. - Pool. Really can't call this small pond of water located on the rooftop out over one of the loudest and busiest intersection in Waikiki. - Old, very old hotel. They're are layers upon layers of paint on every wall. Everything in the facility seemed to be out of the 60's and not updated. - The garage access is not marked well and easily missed as you must turn in the ramp off of one of the busiest streets in Waikiki. The parking is tight and the ramp is VERY steep. Be careful as you walk past the steep exit, too, if you're out and about. - The lobby is very small and tight. Every time we went through it to get in or out, it was like old school bumper cars with all the folks. - The room was kind of on the realm of almost disgusting. After getting all situated, we realized almost half of the room carpeting was damp,....wet. EWE! Too late to move rooms too. We got an overall creepy feeling of the inside of the room and really didn't want to touch anything. It was like being at an old school Motel6. Will we be back? Most likely not, unless it is the last, and I mean last, option for a quick one night stay. I thought the Hale Koa waitlist would come through, but it didn't. I'd say that this place is one of those "WINS" you get on a game show and they show you really great pictures and say how close you are to Waikiki, etc. and then you show up and go "Huh?" Oh, the staff was very nice.

Yelp
This is one of the hotels in Waikiki that houses IHOP, the one that I frequent. The hotel is clean and bright. They offer free parking if you dine at IHOP. You pull up to the gate, call on the intercom, and they'll open the gate for you. The parking for IHOP is all the way on the top floor. I don't care for the parking structure. It's small and hard to maneuver, especially if your car is on the bigger side. In the main lobby, they have a help desk that you can book tours at. They also have complimentary water and coffee for hotel guests.

Yelp
Stayed here after Christmas one night before departing back to mainland. I highly recommend this as it is within walking distance to everything and the rooms are large and well kept/maintained. I decided to stay here because the room had a microwave which was a plus. The room has A/C and spacious. I was fortunate that I was able to get a room at the end of the hallway, away from the noise of families, partiers and kids. No loud door banging, etc. The staff was nice and I would stay here again if I were to vacation in Hawaii again. Also, you can catch the bus to the nearest shopping mall or the Cinema....yes, it is safe to take the bus in Hawaii and in Honolulu. We even took the bus to the big Ranch on the north side of the island....no scary riff raff and all during the daytime. And....drum roll......a lot cheaper than Lyft or renting a car. By the way this hotel also has a swimming pool. Also, if you are in a group and buy over $100 at ABC next door, you can choose from a free gift. I got a nice coffee cup to take back home, which I needed anyway. I will also look for other properties run by Aqua.

Yelp
The worst establishment ever. Went to the lobby to check in and there's human urine on the floor! The whole entire lobby smelt like it. Someone finally cleaned it but they used no cleaning supplies. Nothing but a dry mop so they basically just smeared it around. Then we get to our room the keys do not work. We went back to the disgusting lobby and got them fixed after waiting because only one person was at the front desk. THEN we finally go into the room and it's ALREADY IN USE BY SOMEONE! They actually gave us a room with someone already in it! We asked for a new room and they were no help so we ended up going across to the Hilton. Don't ever suggest this place it is disgustingly unsanitary, unprofessional, and overall terrible service.
