😊: Staff was very nice, he gave us a map of the city and marked important spots on it for us. The location was perfect, very nearby to tourists locations. The room was comfy, balcony had a nice view..

This is a lovely place BUT beware - there is no one on site after 8 pm and if you arrive late, as we did after emailing and phoning ahead, you won’t be able to get in. No one speaks any English and they didn’t bother to read or reply to our email so we had to scrabble around and find somewhere else to stay. We’d booked for 2 nights, and enjoyed our stay on the second night…

The place was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It is also amazingly located, no more than 15 mins from the majority of attractions and restaurants. The host was very kind and helpful during our stay. It was a great place to rest up during our trip and I would recommend anyone to visit if they are traveling to Mérida.

Don't arrive late or you will be treated very rudely. I don't know if it's a nice place to stay since I had to cancel because our transportation to Mérida would not arrive in time for check in. This was our fault for not seeing check in time, but rudeness from property is a poor reflection on management

Good decent place. Lacking a toilet brush cleaner and bathroom rug would be nice. Aside from that everything was as expected, great location.

Finding this hostal is a challenge down narrow streets. Reception guy spoke no English but helped guide me to a covered car park about 6 minutes walk away. Room was small but perfectly OK, with good shower. No WiFi. Garden courtyard is lovely where we met other Camino walkers. Breakfast was at local cafe with huge croissants.

Cyclists should be aware that there's a €6 fee per bike for storage. This is a nice enough hostal in an excellent location. Pity about the very unpleasant and confrontational owner. He didn't like our opinion of his bike tax.

We spent one night in Merida during our trip to Sevilla. ||The Hostal location is simply amazing. Right in the centre of the town, with all the main attraction at a few footsteps.||The room was fantastic, clean, air conditioning, small terrace, very big bathroom and comfortable double bed. ||The Hostal personnel very welcoming and kind. Breakfast fine and adequate to the price paid. We had a wonderful experience.||The only negative point is that the room was a bit noisy, but this is mainly due to people screaming in the street and this didn't ruin our sleep. ||Highly reccommended, good value for your money.
