How to Plan the Perfect Ski Trip to Courchevel, France

"One of the largest aquatic centers in the Alps offering a broad lineup of indoor activities and adrenaline-tinged fun: multiple swimming pools, spa facilities, water slides, and even a surf wave for visitors who want to ‘hang 10’ in the mountains." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. Overall experience: disappointing value for money. The facility offers a wide range of activities, pools, and entertainment options. However, despite the quantity, the overall quality does not meet expectations. The general impression is that the premises are not particularly clean, and the water temperature is noticeably lower than what one would reasonably expect from this type of wellness and leisure facility—especially if you are familiar with comparable venues. (be ready for a very cold shower afterwards as well) In short, the quality–price ratio is clearly not justified. A particularly problematic aspect concerns food and beverages. If you are hungry, you are effectively forced to rely on a single bar inside the entire complex. Prices are excessively high, the food offer is extremely limited, and most items appear to be industrial frozen products. Given that bringing your own food is not allowed, and that leaving the facility prevents re-entry, this setup creates a very uncomfortable “captive customer” situation. The fact that, despite thousands of visitors, the bar remained largely empty throughout our stay should raise serious questions about the current pricing and offering strategy. Finally, an issue of transparency: the website states that chèque vacances are accepted, but this applies only to the entrance ticket. They are not accepted at the bar, which is not clearly communicated beforehand and adds to the overall feeling of poor customer consideration.

An excellent experience from start to finish. The facilities were immaculate, modern and clearly very well maintained, giving the whole place a fresh, contemporary feel. The water temperature was spot on throughout. We spent around 2.5 hours there and had a brilliant time, everything from the slides to the diving pool, and especially the outdoor hot pool, was great fun. The lifeguards struck the perfect balance being attentive and professional, but relaxed enough to let everyone genuinely enjoy themselves without being overwhelmed by unnecessary rules. A nice touch was that non-swimmers could comfortably watch, making it enjoyable for everyone.

Plenty of swim space. The price is right and there are whirlpools, sauna, hammam and steam rooms. Bonus is a very soothing salt water pool. You can schedule a massage, which we didn't this time but it's on my agenda. Pleasant staff, clean, modern. Plenty of activities for kids, and over 18 is reserved on the upper level. Best deal for wellness in the Savoie!

A great spa to relax after a long day of skiing. The place is built with high-quality materials and stays in perfect condition year after year. The pools and saunas are clean, and the view of on snowy days is magnificent.

Cold water in showers, pools are not warm enough(5 more degrees would make things much better). It was absolutely impossible for us to relax there. Do not recommend.

It's a beautiful wellness experience in the mountains, after the skiing, 3 saunas, Turkish baths, hot, cold water and swimming pools inside, outside with a whirlpool. There are several swimming pools outside of the wellness area too and a place for small children. Unfortunately the showers are sometimes cold downstairs, better to have a shower in the wellness area, if you can. Don't forget to take a sheet for the sauna.

What a treat , very happy we visited the pool while we on ski holiday in the area Very clean nice to be warm while it is freezing outside , the outside pool is another story , great hot water with snow all around you, free car park across the road and you enter through the subway from the hotel entrance. we didn’t want to leave . Is a nice place. From the start do not expect a full aquapark. Is not advised as such. You have the main area with a couple os slides and fun pools. Outside area with games. Spa for adults. It is big. Surf wave something. Never tried but looked professional and a lot of technology Gym. The gym is better equipped than a lot of hotels. All in all a good experience Also a climbing place. It was a nice place.
