This was my first place to eat in Vina Del Mar. It was recommended by friends and they asked me to get traditional dishes from Chile. I didn’t know what to expect. Everything was fried and with a lot of French fries😅 the conchas were good as well as drinks and the view phenomenal! I think I will try something else next time but that’s why my 4 ⭐️

Visited this place after a long day at the beach.🌞👍 Wonderful views of the bay area, ocean and buildings behind. Modern and up market ambience with outdoor seating. You can see small fishes and otters swimming around the rocky shores and some seagulls sitting on the rocks waiting for a quick bite while you enjoy your meal. The staff is helpful and courteous. Seafood is the speciality here. Tried shellfish and crispy fried squid.🐙🍤🍛🍴 The quality was fresh and good. The quantity of the dishes were satisfactory. Taste was pleasant and refreshing. The pricing was reasonable. Overall a nice place to be and soak in the amazing atmosphere. Me and my friends enjoyed our time here and recommend this place to all visitors.🎉🎊🍸🍺🍻🍷🍹

As the checkout of the villa was at mid day, we could not have lunch at the lodge, so we looked for a place to dine near the coat. The commendation was at “Aquí Jaime” locate at Concón town. The coastal road where the restaurant is located is being rebuilt, so it goes on one direction, which was difficult for us to arrive from the direction we were coming from. The services is very good, and fast. We asked for “Locos” a type of Abalone that is collected from the coast by divers. This is the first time I have a very tener “Loco”, guess this was the farmed version of the Asian Abalone which is bigger. Although the food and services was excellent, and not having wine, the bill was pricy for Chilean standards, every sider is charged separately, even the dark butter for the fish.

I really enjoyed the place. There are 2 floors, you can sit inside and outside. Spectacular view to the ocean. Many seafood and meat options. Fantastic place!

Amazing views from this beautiful restaurant! Menu is very large with something for everyone; they even have kids menu. Definitely recommend the Tabla de Mariscos for anyone who enjoys seafood.

¡Tuve la fortuna de visitar Aqui Jaime, un restaurante de mariscos excepcional, y mi experiencia fue simplemente maravillosa! Desde el momento en que entré, fui recibido con una cálida bienvenida y un ambiente encantador que refleja perfectamente la pasión por el mar y su deliciosa comida. La frescura de los mariscos en Aqui Jaime es simplemente incomparable. Cada plato que probé era una obra maestra culinaria, repleta de sabores exquisitos y presentaciones impecables. El ceviche, por ejemplo, era un estallido de frescura con los ingredientes perfectamente marinados y acompañados de aguacate cremoso. No puedo dejar de mencionar el delicioso pulpo a la parrilla, tierno y lleno de sabor. El servicio en Aqui Jaime es impecable. El personal es amable, atento y conocedor. Me ofrecieron recomendaciones expertas sobre qué platos probar y siempre estuvieron dispuestos a responder todas mis preguntas sobre los ingredientes y las técnicas de preparación. La pasión y el conocimiento que demuestran es verdaderamente admirable. El ambiente en Aqui Jaime es relajante y acogedor. El restaurante cuenta con una decoración marítima encantadora que te sumerge en una experiencia costera. Además, la música suave y el ambiente animado crean una atmósfera perfecta para disfrutar de una comida en compañía de amigos o familiares. No puedo dejar de mencionar la extensa carta de vinos y cócteles que complementan a la perfección la experiencia gastronómica en Aqui Jaime. Recomiendo encarecidamente probar el maridaje sugerido por el sommelier, ya que realza aún más los sabores de los platos. En resumen, Aqui Jaime es un lugar excepcional para disfrutar de una experiencia marina inolvidable. La combinación de ingredientes frescos, sabores excepcionales, servicio impecable y ambiente encantador hacen de este restaurante un verdadero tesoro culinario. No puedo esperar para volver y explorar más de las delicias que ofrece Aqui Jaime. ¡Definitivamente lo recomendaré a todos los amantes del marisco!

While it had a great view, Aqui Jaime cannot earn anymore than three stars on my scale. Having heard rave reviews from my cousin, I had a certain expectation and while it wasn't met, I am not a jerk and wont make this a complain-fest... ...not really. Firstly, the smell. I have a very particular set of pet peeves revolving around scent. In an establishment where I will be consuming food or beverages... I cannot stand the smell of mildew/cleaning products/bad meat. Sadly, this establishment had a very foul odor to it. Good thing for the wine and pisco sour ;) Secondly, the reineta I ordered... was very dry. I understand that it is a rather thin filet they used, but it was really dry and the shrimps (shrimp?) in the shrimp sauce ontop, weren't helping. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal and for them, I am giving the three stars. The service was great too, but I wouldn't go back. Wait. Maybe I would and order the chowder type dish my cousin had. It was pretty delicious!
