Aquis Grana Cityhotel

We stayed as a family in the Aquis Grand which was perfectly located for the Aachen Christmas markets, room was a great size with plenty of room for a cot for our toddler. Separate bathroom and toilet which worked well for us. There was a fridge in the room which was handy. The hairdryer didn’t work well in the bathroom (the highest setting didn’t work so took me a very long time to dry my hair.) Small toiletries were provided and room was cleaned daily.|Breakfast was available and we had this every morning, so much variety including continental and some hot food, great selection, highly recommend breakfast if you stay. |Staff were attentive and called us a cab when we needed one. Hotel was very central but was quiet in the evenings. Great hotel!

The hotel is situated in the town centre, it has free parking even though our car exceeds 2.2 meters. Amazing breakfast with a big variety of choices, polite staff, most of them being fluent in English, and the price for the room is reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are fine but the restaurant is just too small for the number of guests. The photo is of the queue *to get in to breakfast* on a normal Sunday - it’s ridiculous to have so many more guests than your hotel can really handle. It’s very central if you can bear not to eat in the morning.

Can't beat the location. Right next to all the historic stuff (could see the Dom from our window) and an upcoming park. Breakfast was included and was very good. The room was spacious and clean.

A very nice hotel situated right in the city center, close to all attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and supplied with a range of toiletries. Breakfast was delicious with many options of good quality food. In short, it is a pleasant place to stay for a trip to the city

Our small German U3A group was very happy with our stay in this very well located hotel. We had asked to do all communications in German and the staff went along with this in very good spirit. The rooms were good, as was breakfast and all staff were courteous and helpful

Hotel was great! Comfy beds, low noise pollution and a great location, next to a scenic fountain and two amazing bakeries. Would definitely recommend!

Very central location in the center of Aachen. Dom and historical city hall and many restaurants are just a few steps away. The hotel style and interior is typical German. All is clean and my room also had air condition. The breakfast was also quite OK with the food you would expect in a hotel like this.
